Baby Raelyn is weighing in at 4lbs and she's super strong, even kicked Hannah our US tech. Dr T is very optimistic at how things are going. Cervix still closed and holding. Next appt is Dec 23.

Tomorrow marks 30 weeks...my journey so far
3 weeks of IVF shots Drs appts and procedures. 2 hospital stays and several weeks of strict bed rest. Majority of pregnancy spent on modified rest/activity. Tens of thousands of dollars spent and bills rolling in everyday. Shots, pills and other medications remain constant through the pregnancy. With all that said IM THANKFUL!!!!! Thankful for so much. I'm thankful for my husband that takes care of us everyday. After working 8-9 hours he comes home does dishes cleans house makes meals and does laundry. He has used all his sick time and some vacation to take care of me when I couldn't. I'm thankful for this precious little girl that is growing in my belly and making me sick and uncomfortable. Totally worth all the aches and pains to see her growing and developing. I'm super Thankful for my friends that support me and check in and take care of me. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Cerclage to RISKY!!!!
So after being in hospital for 2 days getting no sleep and being prepped for surgery and getting a spinal block my doctors decided that a cerclage for me at this stage is way to risky. So I'm home now at 25 weeks 1 day and we have new meds and a laid back daily activity plan to keep this baby in and cooking for a couple more months.

24 weeks 4 days and now my cervix shortens...
Well folks everything was going so well until my weekly check up today. My cervix has shortened a significant amount in just 10 days and there's signs of contractions and noticeable funneling. My doctor is on top of it all and has scheduled me to have a cerclage Thursday this week! I'll check into the hospital Wednesday at 10am and the procedure is scheduled for Thursday afternoon 3:50 to be exact. If everything goes well I'll be home Friday! Send some love and energy or say a prayer.

21 weeks 1 day and everything is great!!!
We went to the doctor today and my cervix is holding strong. We will continue to monitor it weekly or biweekly. If needed the doctor will prescribe progesterone but until then we've got the 👍👍!!!!

19 weeks and 1 day...
We went in for a cervical length check today and it's still holding strong!!! At this point were just gonna take it one day at a time and hope for the best. I have a follow up to check cervix again in 2 weeks. Let's hope that it stays long and strong up until delivery time! 😁

Update 8/14/2014 15 weeks 1 day
Went for a CL(cervical length) check today and my cervix is holding strong and still very long!!! Baby GIRL is doing great! Heartbeat and growth are fantastic. She's a mover I tell ya. WIGGLE WORM!!! It's hard to say what will happen next but I'm hoping for nothing out of the ordinary as far as pregnancy goes. I just want to make it through these next 25 weeks being healthy and growing a healthy baby.

Subchorionic hemorrhage for my birthday
This post is going to be very graphic and please skip if you have a weak stomach.
I woke up around 1 am to GUSHING BLOOD with HUGE BLOOD CLOTS( the size of soft balls)! My bathroom looked like a crime scene covered in blood. I thought for sure that I was having a miscarriage and immediately got Honey to take me to the ER.
My blood pressure was really high and I was soaking through the make shift pad because at 12 weeks pregnant who has pads?!?!?
They got me into a gurney and into a waiting area in the hallway. As we sat waiting for a room I was leaking through the new pads they gave me!
Once into a room in the ER they took blood got me into a gown. While waiting for an ultrasound I made a mess of the bathroom and the gurney I was laying in. Again I’m bleeding out like I’ve been gutted and just laying in it.
Eventually we get to the ultrasound and I’m just waiting for them to so ok miscarriage it is but NO the baby is FINE! Great size measuring exact and has a wonderful heartbeat!!!
Long story short I’m at home on bed rest hoping to get the bleeding to stop. I’m still In shock and terrified. Only time will tell what happens now. I’m going to call my high risk dr first thing Monday morning.
