Wow this one was rather hastily made, sorry about that….It’s been a hectic week for some admins, and the death of a certain celebrity left most of the admins neglectful of this blog. 

However, we’re not one to miss deadlines, so, here’s our character of the week, Norway!

Though he lacks a canon height, it is said that he is the third tallest of the Nordics (the height chart going, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Finland

Though he lacks a canon name, Himaruya has stated that he liked the names Lukas Bondevik, Børre Thomassen, Bjørn, Kjetil, Knut, and Sigurd.

Himaruya designed him as a mysterious character due to his love for Norwegian fairy tales.

Norway’s detached hair curl represents the Fjords

His hair clip functions as communication device. 

Mr. Puffin has referred to him as a “snarky guy”

He is hinted to be a baker

He is also skilled at chess, and out of 346 chess game he played with Denmark, he won 345 times.

It was stated that he is painfully shy around strangers when he and Denmark crossed paths with Germany and Japan in Hetalia Fantasia 2, however moments after, Norway spoke a generous amount of speaking, complaining and whining to Germany and Japan.

Though the two are acquaintances, Norway has mentioned that Estonia’s eagerness to join the Nordics frightens him sometimes.

Despite Norway’s apparent annoyance at Denmark, Finland has mentioned that Norway spends a lot of time with Denmark.

Norway and Iceland frequently fight over mackerel

Norway still sees Iceland as a child (much to Iceland’s annoyance) and still feels the need to take care of him
