                         There’s a brief pause as his eyes move to the screen, brows arching at the voices coming over the intercom. “Well…that’s a bit fucked,” he mumbled rubbing the back of his neck, silently wondering where Emmy and Quinn were. He laughs, the noise sounding strained laced with a little fear as the words sink in, eyes going to the clock. They had two hours to find out if this was a joke or not. “Y-yea…prank,” he mumbled swallowing. Maybe coming here wasn’t such a good idea after all.

                           Her head cocks at his reactions and she reaches for an ash tray near her bed, sitting up before she points,  ❝ don’t fucking tell me you believe that shit--- Dante ! ❞ She lets out a laugh, throwing a pillow at him,  ❝ PIRATES ! Really-- Such a cliche thing to do, oh it’s an island, there’s water-- Yeah, right, a fucking pirate is gonna burst through the god damn door in a sec... Wait for it.. ❞ She turns to her bedroom door, before she turns to him,  ❝ Dude-- It’s fine.❞ She moves to him, settling on his lap,  ❝ c’mon, lemme take your edge off... ❞

                         Laughing he shook his head, “Shit that’d be somethin’ now wouldn’t it?” They probably should have been taking all of this seriously but he couldn’t be bothered. Tearing his eyes away from the windows, he looked to her and snagged the joint from her with a hum before taking a hit. “Wanna just fuck around ‘til this all passes?” he asked once he exhaled.

                            She’s grinning, laughing when he takes her drugs from her, leaning in to give him a kiss at his proposal before she glances at the tv, it’d been muted this whole time, reruns of Friends got old, even then, and she frowns, sitting up and pushing him away, the voice over the intercom making her blood run cold, before giving a little laugh, it was probably some sort of prank for the others, she knew better and she plucks the joint from him, taking a hit, letting it go through her nose,  ❝ nice-- yeah, I’m not into stupid pranks anyways... ❞

                         “Yea I don’t know what the hell I’m gonna do being locked up in here,” Dante sighed shaking his head, the letter shoved in his back pocket. The pirates aspect of it was amusing something he wasn’t taking seriously hence why he had ventured to Ava’s room to see if she believed any of this and if she had anything planned. “Wonder if captain hook will bust through an’ raw dog me,” he chuckled flopping down on the couch, the howling winds crashing against the side of the windows having his eyes attention.

                       A blunt hangs from her lips, hazel orbs moving to him before she pulls it from her mouth, a hot pink lighter in her hand as she does so,  ❝ what the fuck are you even talking about ? ❞ Her eyes drop to the letter discarded on her bed, never opened, she’d forgotten all about that, plopping on the bed, she reads over the letter, snorting,  ❝ Right. Okay-- And Tinkerbell is gonna provide free coke for us--- Do you think they’ll smoke with us ? ❞ She lights up the blunt, inhaling the smoke and grinning,  ❝ cause I’ve got plenty to share... ❞ She hums out, blowing out smoke and laying back, ignoring the window’s rattling, she was used to storms, they bored her.

  looking up from where he was precariously perched on a barstool after what one would probably consider a few too many shots, he’s pleasantly surprised to find some new company.  ❝ depends. can you hold your liquor better than the last guy? pretty sure his wife carried him out. was quite the sight now that i think about it. ❞ edges of a smirk tracing his mouth, he smiles.

                       She’s smiling, head tilting to the side before she settles down next to him,  ❝ oh? y’don’t look so hot at the moment...❞ The orders for herself, tilting back her drink before grinning,  ❝ had quite the night, huh... ❞ She offers her hand,  ❝ name’s Ava-- What’s yours? ❞

the dude looked like he was mildly offended and george wouldn’t be surprised if he took off the minute after her statement, “ SO AGGRESSIVE he looked like he was going to weep!” he held out his hand waiting to receive the binder. “ I’d settle for HANDSOME IDIOT. now give back the binder.”

                                   The guy is leaving, but Ava is too busy plucking pens and pencils from the table, anything to hold him back,  ❝ alright Handsome stallion, I’ll be nice, but only to you, m’kay ? ❞ She leans against holding the binder and other things close to her, like a raccoon, before she shakes her head,  ❝ nah, this is my leverage, if I give ‘em back you’re gonna leave me--- I need you Georgie ! ❞

                        She looks back at the guy whom, from George’s point of view, she’d offended, waving him off, she picks up one of his binders, holding them to her chest,  ❝ I can! It’s called aggressive flirting George! I called him a curly haired idiot because I wanna sleep with him… ❞ Head tilts,  ❝ oh ~ Or did you want me to call you a curly haired idiot. ❞ She gives him a grin, followed by a wink.

Shit, so I had to cleanse my pallet and look around, alas, I found you. And, just because you already had fun doesn’t mean you gotta work, this is to relax... Have fun and explore. ❞

                         There’s a laugh, sitting besides him nonetheless, a drink in hand as she glances over at the files, taking a sip before sighing,  ❝ well-- No, no need to see a doctor-- Although work addiction ? That really needs to be checked out by a professional--- Aren’t you here in a vacation ? Like the rest of us ? ❞

Four hours ago ?  ❞

                          Bright red nails tap on the bar’s surface, a little hum slipping past crimson lips, as she looks around, eyes she’d only just arrived, a few hours, and after sleeping off her jet lag, she’d figured it was play time.  ❝ Hello there… Mind if I join you ? I can’t drink alone, it’s a medical condition. ❞ She hums, settling down next to them, a playful smile on her face.
