The Good Life: Brett Hundley
Tumblr media
Word Count: 461
“I should just go home,” you murmured to yourself as you sat in the driver’s seat of your car out in front of a familiar house. Part of you wasn’t even sure how you had arrived here, you had been so preoccupied running over everything from the week at work and all of the things going on in your personal life that it was as if an autopilot took over and drove you here without your knowledge. It wasn’t a bad thing, per se, to be here; you know that you would be welcomed, but you also knew that Brett had just gotten back from a trip and would be exhausted in his own right.

Teacher Appreciation 1: Brett Hundley
Tumblr media
Word Count: 556 A/N: I received a message about doing like a teacher appreciation thing since I’m a teacher and yes, I am all about it.
“Okay, Friends… eyes on me,” you called, patting your hands on the tops of your thighs. It was difficult to get a group of twenty four and five year olds to focus on anything but you were determined to actually get through a lesson without anyone losing their minds - yourself included. After a bit of shuffling around, mostly everyone was in their spots on the large carpet with their legs crossed and hands in the laps.
You smiled happily and let out a content sigh, “Good morning, friends.”

Court-side Courage - Andy Cortez x Reader
Name: Court-side Courage
Pairing: Andy Cortez x Reader
Word Count: 2,601
Request: Something fluffy about Andy and Reader going on a date to a basketball game - From @whysamwhy123
A/N: This was supposed to be, like, half this length… but Andy happened.
You took a slow, deep breath as you stared at the endless expanse of cars in front of you, trying your best not to also look at the other endless expanse of cars behind you. Your morning commute was perhaps the worst part of living in LA, and it was starting to get to you.
You took a sip of your coffee, listening to a radio DJ rattle off the news and weather in the sort of excited undulating tone that only they could manage. You forced yourself to focus on what the man was saying just so you could stop looking at light reflecting in the back of car windows.
“And after last night’s game, we’ve got a wild gift from our good friends over in Cleveland, Ohio. Get this: An all expense paid trip to Cleveland and courtside seats, that’s right, I said courtside to a Cavs game. Even a diehard Lakers fan couldn’t turn that down.”
“You’re right, Bob. I’ll tell ‘em how to win. Just give us a call at 555-555-5555, and if you’re our 20th caller and you manage to get our question right, you’ll be on your way to Cleveland.”

One Thicc Boy
A/N - So. I know I’ve said this before a couple times…but goddamn, I think this might be the most pointlessly gratuitious fic I’ve ever wasted my time writing and that no one other than me wanted to exist. Basically, I’ve been developing a little crush on The Sauce for a little while now…and then that Off-Topic where he wore those yoga pants happened. And I, your friendly neighbourhood ass-woman, just felt compelled to write something dumb based off of that damn booty. I initially wasn’t even going to post this, but then Alfredo posted another pic of his butt in those pants and I was like ‘‘…well, guess that’s a sign’‘ XD So…I hope either no one reads this, or at least someone does and ends up kinda liking it and not thinking I’m a hell of a weirdo! And a big thank you to @chefgeofframsay for encouraging me to write and post this, as well for taking a look at the first draft! THIS IS (partly) YOUR FAULT, EM!!
Pairing - Alfredo x Reader
Warnings - Some silliness (well, a lot of silliness) and some groping (well, a looooot of groping…), and, of course, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutts
Word Count - 3, 437

10 with gavin free?
You weren’t sure your plan was going to work. Granted, ithad worked in the movies, but real life was more often than not a whole lot shittierthan the movies. Still, you decided that it was your best bet; you didn’t exactlyhave anything to lose…besides your dignity. Plus, the twenty bucks you shelledout for the supplies for your confession of love. Mostly your dignity, though.
As you sat in your car outside Gavin’s, looking at yourposter paper on which you scribbled stuff down as neatly as you could, considering the fact your hand had been shaking the entire time. Once in awhile, you’d glance over to Gavin’s front door, sigh heavily to yourself, andlook back at the posters in your passenger’s seat. You’d been talking yourselfinto and out of doing this, finally telling Gavin how you feel, for weeks now.The two of you pranked each other restlessly, and while it made for goodcontent, it didn’t really help youresolve any of your feelings. It just amused you, and it gave you an excuse tosee him as often as time would allow. You were having fun, but for once, youneeded to be serious about something.
You were seriously sure about how you felt about Gavin Free.

Hey friend! Could you do 12 and 18 with fahc!Trevor? (Or a post-apocalyptic AU tbh) 💕💕
“You’re freezing, jesus!” Trevor exclaimed as he reached outto help pull you up onto the balcony. The two of you had been wandering forhours towards promised safety of an operating town in an old airplane hangar, but you were at least two days out from it still. So, when you’d stumbled uponsome long since abandoned houses, you sized up the best of the set, pointed toan opening, and Trevor led the way up. He was a better climber than you and ifhe went up first, he could pull you up. It was a system you figured out a whileago.
“The sun went down an hour ago,” you grumbled as you pulledyour gun back out, “of course I’m cold.”

can I request flash fic #77 with Miles or #78 with Geoff if you’re still doing them?
You’d been pretty sick the last few days, and other thantexting your friends, you’d done nothing but lay in bed and sleep. On the thirdday, you managed to get yourself out of bed and at Miles’ suggestion, you threwyourself into a warm shower. You spent a good twenty minutes just standingunder the hot water, letting it soothe the aches in your joints. You did somegross hacking up of things sitting in your chest, and your nose was running likea river, but when you got out of the shower, you felt like a new person. Yourhead wasn’t as stuffy, you felt like you could breathe better, and once youwere dressed in your coziest outfit, you were sure you could maybe get somestuff done.
Yet, you ended up curled up on the couch with a blanket wrappedaround you.
You’d barely been in the living room for ten minutes beforethere was a knock on the door. You groaned and with an incredible amount ofeffort, you got off the couch and headed for the door. You glanced into thepeephole to see who was on the other side before unlatching the deadbolt andunlocking the door.
“Hey!” Miles greeted, beaming at you. “I’d ask how you are,but you look like shit,” he added, laughing a little.

prompt #8 with michael?
The worst part about working at a diner was the part where youcould close for basically nothing. It was open twenty-four hours, seven days aweek, three hundred and sixty-five days a year, and no one was free from aweird shift or two. It also didn’t help that in the last few years, the owners hadgotten older, too old for the night shifts or the early mornings, and as theirlongest-tenured employee, you were given the responsibility.
That’s how you ended up at the diner alone on a Saturdaynight in the middle of a snowstorm.

I am super anxious that the original one didn't send so just in case, can I get 4 from the holiday prompts with our boy Chris please? Thank ❤❤
The worst part of winter, without a doubt, had to be the ice.
You were a bit on the clumsy side at the best of times andwith the addition of slippery ground, you stood basically no chance of notlanding on your ass at least three times a day. Try as you did to make thingsbetter by throwing stuff over it that was supposed to make the ice less slipperyand walking slower with different shoes, nothing seemed to help. You alwaysended up falling anyway. When it came to winter, you always ended up withbruises all over. Apparently, nothing could stop it.
“Oh please,” you muttered to the universe, trying to keepyour balance while you carried your groceries from your car to your apartment. The bags were a little heavy and it didn’t help that you were trying to getthem all there in one go. You didn’t want to go back out into the cold andtempt fate anymore than you had to. You’d made it up the stairs from the garagewithout a problem, and you were making your way to your apartment building whenit happened.
One minute you were standing, and the next, you were layingon the ground, looking at the sky.
“Are you alright?” a voice asked, and a second later, therewas a face in your field of vision.
“Oh no,” you whispered to yourself. You could have fallen infront of anyone and it had to be Chris.Your neighbor, Chris, who you’d had a massive crush on since he helped you movein and kept inviting over for movies or dinner and who always had somewherebetter to be. You just figured he was too polite to outright tell you to fuckoff.
“What was that?” he asked, giving you a confused look thatsomehow still managed to make yourheart flutter.
“Oh…no…” you started slowly, trying to figure out how torecover. “I’m fine?” you finished, hoping he’d take it.
“Well, that look like it hurt,” he informed, “let me helpyou up.” He held out his hand expectantly and you shook your head.
“No, no, it’s fine!” you told him hurriedly. “I’ll just endup pulling you down with me and it’s bad enough I’m a klutz, I don’t need tomake it a two man show.”
“It’s fine,” he chuckled, taking hold of one of your hands, which was still holding on to your shopping bags for dear life, and went topull you up. Not surprisingly, it didn’t go well. You had just about stood upwhen your foot slid out from under you again and not only did you fall, Chris soonlanded on top of you. The both of you groaned and then, Chris started to laugh.
“I guess it’s a two man show now,” he stated. “Sorry aboutlanding on you!” he added quickly, eyes widening as he realized how close thetwo of you now were to the other’s face. You gave him a small smile, shaking yourhead.
“It’s fine,” you said, voice suddenly very quiet as youfocused on all the new features you could see on his face now that he was so close. The two of you seemed to just take a moment to stare at each other before Chris’lips were on yours. As quickly as they were there, however, they were gone.
“I didn’t mean to do that!” Chris informed quickly. “Shit,[Y/N], I’m sorry, I…” he started to babble but you cut him off by kissing him.It was awkward with the angle and the way his mouth was positioned mid-sentencebut you were also laying out in front of your apartment building on an icepatch. Awkward seemed appropriate.
“So, uh,” you started as you pulled back, resting your headon the hard ground to look at him the best you could. “I know I keep invitingyou over but…would you maybe like to come for dinner? I did just go shopping,”you pointed out, rustling the bags you were still holding.
“I ordered Chinese,” Chris explained, “I was just going toget it.”
“Oh,” you muttered.
“But I can pick up something for you and then come over?” hesuggested hopefully. You smiled up at him.
“Sounds good to me,” you stated, “and Chris?”
“Yeah?”
“Would you mind getting off of me? My butt’s starting to go numband I’d like to get up.”
“Oh!” he exclaimed, “yeah of course! Sorry!” Chris rolledoff of you, chuckling awkwardly before, with a good deal of effort, getting backonto his feet. It took you a minute to do it too, but once you were, you smiledover at Chris.
“So…” you trailed off. “I’ll see you in a little while, then?”
“Yeah,” he said, giving you a lopsided grin. “I’ll…uh…meetyou at your place?”
“Sounds like a plan.”

Listen I’m not saying it’s mandatory, but making prompt #3 with Aaron? A miracle. Can you imagine him continuously being like “I swear it’s worth it. Keep unwrapping!” And you are 110% done.
“I think you’ll like my gift this year,” Aaron told you, a hintof a smug smile on his face as he held out a wrapped box. You took it from himcautiously; he seemed too sure you were going to like it and the look on hisface made you nervous.
“Is this going something I can’t show anyone?” you asked, giving him a skeptical look. He chuckled, sitting down next to you and kissingyour temple.
“I promise, you’re going to like it,” he assured. “Just openit and find out.”
“That didn’t answer my question,” you pointed out, and he chuckled, rolling his eyes as he did.
“Open it,” Aaron repeated, “I promise, it’s nothing creepy…thisyear.”
“This year,” you laughed. “My apprehension came fromsomewhere!”
“It was one time!” he exclaimed, “and it was hilarious andyou know it.” You gave him a look and he gave you a cheesy smile before adding,“You love me. Wouldn’t still be dating me if you didn’t.”
You snorted but smiled regardless; he definitely wasn’twrong. You started unwrapping the box, leaning into Aaron’s embrace as he puthis arm around you. “I do love you,” you informed. “Even if you’re terrible at givinggifts.” You kissed his cheek before pulling the lid off the box in your lap.You weren’t sure what to expect, but it definitely wasn’t what was inside.
Aaron snickered as you looked at it and then over at him. Hehad an innocent smile on his face as you glared at him.
“You dick,” you laughed.
“Now, that’s just mean,” he said, “I bought you something Iknow you’ll love and took my time wrapping it!”
“In how many boxes, Aaron?” you countered, shaking yourhead, smile still on your face, as you opened the box to reveal another box.
“Several,” your boyfriend responded. “But in my defense, yousaid you liked to open presents! I gave you more to open.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” you chuckled, opening yet another box.
Aaron had really gone all out. You’d gotten through a dozenboxes but still, every time you opened one, all that was inside was some coloredtissue paper and yet another box. He sat there, still all smiles, tracing patternsin your side while you unwrapped box after box. He seemed pretty pleased withhimself.
“I’m done,” you told him as you unwrapped the fifteenth boxto find more boxes.
“No, no, no!” Aaron said hurriedly. “I swear it’s worth it.Keep unwrapping, please,” he added, giving you a serious look.
“Am I close, at least?” you asked, giving him a look. You wereholding a box the size of a book and you’d started with a box that wasdefinitely meant for something big.
“So close,” he informed. “I promise.”
“I’m going to kick your ass,” you told him before returningto the boxes. He chuckled, kissing the side of your head again.
“Whatever you want to do, babe.”
It took three more boxes before you reached the last one.You were exasperated, dumping each box into your hand to find another box…untila small, velvety box one tumbled into your palm. You stared at it for a longmoment before looking over at Aaron. He smiled at you, squeezing your hip.
“Well…” he trailed off, “aren’t you going open it?”
“I…” you started, looking back down at the box. You turnedit over in your hands a couple times, looking at the dark velvet and then backat Aaron. With shaky hands, you opened the box to see a ring sitting neatlyinside. You looked over at your boyfriend again, who was suddenly looking very serious.
“[Y/N], you know I love you more than anything else in theworld,” Aaron stated, “and I had a whole stupid speech planned out but…” hetook a deep breath, looking you square in the eyes, “will you marry me?”
“Of course I will!” you told him, wrapping your arms aroundhim and pushing him back onto the couch and kissing him, hard. When you pulledaway, Aaron looked up at you, beaming.
“Thank god,” he said, “I was starting to think you weren’t actuallyget to the ring.”
“And who’s fault would that have been?” you asked, raisingan eyebrow at him.
“Yeah, yeah,” he sighed, “how about we see how that ringfits?” You smiled and nodded, sliding off him and back into your spot on thecouch. He took the box out of your hands, and you watched him take the ringout. Your held your hand, which was still shaking a little, and Aaron took itand slowly slid the ring onto your finger. You beamed at Aaron, who raised yourhand his lips, and kissed it.
“Perfect,” you said happily. “I love you, Aaron.”
He took your face in his hands, smiling back at you. “I loveyou too,” he told you before pulling you in for another kiss.

Paper snowflakes and Gavvy
Day 6 from the holiday prompts! I actually had a lot of fun writing this! I really hope you like it! xx
Word Count: 767
Warnings: One curse word.
Pairing: Gavin Free x Reader
Paper Snowflakes
“This happens every year?” Lindsay asks as the two of you walk to the Achievement Hunter office together.
“Well I wouldn’t say every year, because last year was the first year they started showing up.” You shrug and take a sip of your hot chocolate. “I got one every day in December of last year though.”
“Who were they all from?” Lindsay opens the door to the office letting you walk in and then following suit.
“I have no idea.” You sit down at your desk and then take another sip of your hot chocolate. “But I really hope they do it again this year.”
“Let me get this straight. Someone gave you a handmade snowflake every day for a month and you still don’t know who it is?” Lindsay shook her head at you, walking across the room and giving Michael the drink she had grabbed for him.
“Well… No.” Defeated, you frown and pick up some folders from your desk to make room for your drink. As you lift them, you catch a glimpse of something sparkly sticking out of the stack. Quickly setting down your hot cocoa, you open the folder. “I guess my Christmas will be filled with snow once again this year!”
“You got another one?” Lindsay peeks over at your desk, curiously.
“Yup!” You proudly hold up the snowflake and grin, looking to the ceiling. “Thank you, winter wonderland fairy!” As soon as those words leave your mouth, Michael bursts into laughter. “What are you laughing at?” You spin around in your chair to face him.
“Nothing at all.” He attempts to suppress his laughter and glances over at Gavin, who’s having an equally hard time containing himself. “We just might know who your winter wonderland fairy is and it’s fucking hilarious that you called them that.” He smirks and crosses his arms over his chest.
“What?! Who is it?!” You look between the two of them, waiting for a reply. When neither of them answers you, you stand up and turn your full attention to Gavin. You can always get Gavin to talk. “Gavin?” His laughter stops and he cautiously stands up as well, backing away from you. You narrow your eyes at him and take a step forward. He immediately turns around and darts towards the door, swinging the door open and sprinting down the hall.
It doesn’t take you long to catch up to him and you’re right on his tail. Much to his chagrin, he turns a corner and runs into an emergency exit door. He hits the floor with a thud. You take the moment as an opportunity, pouncing on him and straddling him.
“You’ve already lost, Gavin. Just tell me who it is and I’ll let you go.” He struggles against you and you grab his wrists, pinning them to the floor.
“I can’t tell you!” He continues to squirm beneath you.
“Why not?” You use all of your strength to keep him from getting up. “Tell me or I start tickling.” You let go of one of his wrists and lift your hand, wiggling your fingers.
“Okay. Okay!” He laughs and squeezes his eyes shut, preparing for you to tickle him. “It was me!” You let go of his other wrist and lean back a bit, processing. He flinches, thinking you’re still going to tickle him and then slowly opens his eyes. “I remember you being homesick and wanting to see snow, so I thought it would be a nice thing to do.” He pauses to try to get a read on your face and then continues. “You think it’s weird, don’t you? You think I’m a creep! I’m such an idiot!” He groans and covers his face with his arms.
You’re both silent for a moment, so he tentatively removes his arms from his face, looking up at you. He starts to say something, but you cut him off by grabbing his face with both hands and pressing your lips against his. It doesn’t take long before he pushes himself up into a sitting position, wrapping his arms around you and kissing you back. When you break the kiss, you’re breathing heavily and you keep your eyes closed.
“Gavin…” Your hands are still holding his face close to yours, your noses still touching. “You are the sweetest person I have ever met.” You open your eyes and smile at him. “But don’t think that you can stop leaving me snowflakes, just because I know who they’re from.”
“I wouldn’t dream of it.” He laughs and pulls you in for another kiss.
