egg joke discourse was like if someone made a post like "its so bad to joke that a guy is dating his friend its really uncomfortable". and then people started reblogging it and go "yeah!! don't joke that two men are dating!" and you were like ummm hey i generally agree to respecting people's privacy but its Weird that we're specifically talking about this specific scenario,

and then an internet celebrity was like "yeah people keep shipping me with my streaming buddy and i keep asking them to stop and it makes me uncomfortable" and you're like, okay yeah that's really parasocial and also not respecting people's wishes but also, the issue is parasocial relationships and not respecting boundaries, not this joke specifically?

and then someone else was like "if someone mistook me for a gay man i'd be so mad! maybe guys just have close friendships! you ever thought about that???" and youre like. is anyone else seeing this. but no a bunch of other queer people are whipped into a frenzy about how awful it is to say that two men might be gay.

and then you checked the original post that started this whole craze and its a gay guy saying "saw two guys eating lunch together i hope their date goes well haha"
