So am I the only one who got the impression that Sal and Apo lived in Pity on a comes-and-goes basis for a while? Like, ten or more years?

I've been going back and rewatching earlier vods and it hit me that there's actually no solid evidence for them being known in town longer than maybe a year or two, which is wild, because Apo just feels like she's lived there longer than anyone else except the born-locals (4C, Scott, and Mayor Poliver).

It just feels like she's been here longer than anywhere else, like the closest thing she's ever had to a hometown is this: somewhere she's never really called home and never really wanted to. It's part of what makes her whole narrative feel so fascinating to me: it's one big screwed-up coming-of-age story. It's how she steps out of her father's shadow and finds out what she really wants out of her own life.

Like, it's pretty explicitly spelled out in canon that Sal and Apo travelled a lot — Sal, from the sounds of it, had a talent for getting himself run out of towns — but Apo's narrative arc gains so many layers if you assume Pity was basically Sal's home base. And apparently, it just fits so well that I instinctively assumed it was the case, in absence of any evidence.

Hey apo! I'm just curious how do you pick people who join SMP's in powcreations? I remember outsider's had applications but there are none anymore and I'm unsure if people who aren't massive content creators will ever be able to join anything

Hello! Yes, we no longer do applications as POWCreations.

As of recent, It's really just been who we find best fits the vibes and tone for a specific project.

Being close to Owen and I nor being a large creator has a factor in the invitation process as we tend to invite creators both big and small! And also people we haven't had years of experience with! There's so many people we'd like to work with in the future, but only so many slots. And with us having a solid "goto" group, there's only so many new faces each time.

But TLDR: Vibes. (there's so much more to it than vibes but it's hard to explain exactly how either of our brains process information haha)
