I'm on my reread of Oh, Maker by the lovely @voluptatiscausa and it's funny how some scenes hit harder on the second go. I got off the plane, had something to eat and sat down to draw this; that's how much this chapter gripped me.

Not only do we get aziraphale with longer hair, but this scene is ripe with deep care, sympathy and the helplessness of seeing someone you love suffer and only being able to ease some of it. It's achingly beautiful and resonated a whole lot with me.

for me, it helped me connect with friends, some that i don’t have anymore, and some of whom i still keep in touch. find people who helped me in the worst time in my life, people who loved me when i didn’t feel loved by my family. it helped me explore my gender identity, sexuality, taught me that labels aren’t important, helped me embrace my neurodiversity, related to my struggles at home, praised my artistic and musical talent, and told me to drink some goddamn water once and a while. i left quotev back in september of last year, so i can’t say i saw the live destruction of it. but holy hell was it fun while it lasted

also i wrote my only ever fanfiction on it so yknow

for me, it helped me find out I had anxiety, helped me find ways to manage it, helped me discover my gender identity, and led me to the largest group of friends I’ve ever had. This random quiz site I found one night while looking for some quiz, made an account on, and actually met people. This site was my life for the past year and a half. Now it’s gone.
