    “A tavern in the town I was last in,” she starts, sitting back up. “I was staying there. My bow and belongings should still be there. I.. ran off without them in a panic.” Leliana ran her fingers through her damp hair, glad that it would at least dry quickly. Her things should still be there tomorrow. She had her room booked for a few days, after all. It’s simply the question of whether someone may have picked the lock and stolen them. Either way, she breathes a sigh of relief at Morrigan’s ascent to her suggestion. With luck, perhaps she’ll find a cure before she turns again.

    Leliana feels her cheeks redden when she realizes the issue surrounding the bed. She jumps off of it, feeling intrusive all of a sudden. “If you have extra blankets I’d be fine with sleeping on the floor,” she tries to concede, even if the thought of sleeping the floor for an indiscernible amount of time sounds less than appealing. She’ll do so, though, if only because this woman was offering to find a cure for her, and she doesn’t want to lose what might be her only chance at being free of this constant state of fear that she’s been in for over a month now.

Morrigan gives Leliana a hard look and frowns, “And then you shall complain of your back in the morn’, and I will have to deal with your incessant whining, on top of everything else.” She tuts. “No, no, ‘twas no reason for me to bring it up. ‘Tis hardly an issue.” Well, so long as Leliana keeps to herself. Morrigan has never had to share her bedding before (and though memories from lifetimes ago come to mind, she dismisses it with an inconsequential wave of her fingers). The idea that Leliana might be disruptive in her sleep, at all, seemed unnecessary.

Morrigan moves towards the bed for a moment, and then hesitates as she stops halfway. “... Er, well, I suppose if there is anything else you should need while in my care, then all you need do is simply ask.” Not that Morrigan plans to go exceptionally out of her way for Leliana’s sake—curing her from the throes of lycanthropy is for her own benefit as much as it is as Leliana’s. “If that is all, I’ll begin getting ready for tomorrow.”

today is a day for me being mad about little things in morrigan’s writing and witch hunt is another one of them. why is it so easy for a warden to stab her. what is the justification in doing so when morrigan has not actively tried to sabotage the warden, like, ever. she values friendships highly. she would absolutely let her, for lack of a better term, sister go through the eluvian with her. i know david gaider wrote her and everything but <:/ how do you make her so ooc

the dark ritual was just such a lazy way to resolve the whole “actually a grey warden has to die in order to kill the archdemon” subplot that was written in for.... no apparent reason (other than to really drive the “grey wardens are all about sacrifice” point home, i guess). they’re fucking witches, and the writers couldn’t have come up with something better than “hurrrhrh actually morrigan needs to get pregnant :)”??

plus with alistair...... there’s this weird fascination with making morrigan have sex with someone who she absolutely despises (and although morrigan comes to respect alistair come inquisition, she finds him absolutely repulsive). the whole.... “dont worry i can make this enjoyable” part of the cutscene was also skeevy and out of character. morrigan might not have been a virgin but it’s pretty obvious that.... sex, in the majority of cases, isnt something she actively seeks out (voicelines from the pearl, the way she talks to a male warden, etc etc).

if you wanted morrigan to have a child, have the archdemon turn into one. if you simply wanted a cool old archdemon soul subplot, there are other ways to do that. you don’t need to violate morrigan’s personal sanctity, but i get it. the writers wanted to make her pregnant for whatever godforsaken reason lol

also not to sound like a bitter lesbian but im bitter—the dark ritual should not have been what kept morrigan from being wlw. its just. such a mess lol
