Valencia Hearing Headcanon

So if you are in the Unofficial Pirate101 OC Server with me, you've probably seen this headcanon before, but it's wormed its way deeper into my brain, so I'm gonna expand upon this.

Due to the fact that the Machine has left my ears feeling very violated due to how freaking loud it is in-game, I give you this little headcanon:

Many Valencians are hard of hearing.

Besides personal reasons, there are actually things I feel back this up.

One is that children (and anyone, but children especially) who are exposed to continuous loud noises for an extended period of time can experience hearing loss. This is why on some devices (generally aimed toward kids) when you have your headphones in and turn the volume up past a certain point will give you a notification saying something along the lines of "Listening at this volume for an extended amount of time may damage your hearing, are you sure you wish to continue?" So imagine being a child born into a world where you constantly have this loud machine screeching in your ears no matter where you go. I would imagine this would cause issues in their development, maybe not entirely deaf mind you, but definitely some extreme hearing problems.

(Another funny reason is that some of the unicorns just SHOUT all of their dialouge, and maybe they do that just so they can hear themselves speak. Or perhaps I'm just looking too deep into things, which is entirely possible.)

The server also made some jokes about how Kane purposely made it loud so no one could hear his evil schemes, in the beautiful words of @stormbreaker101, "Nobody can overhear your totally evil monologue if they can't hear you at all"

from what i can gather from the leaked dialogue, someone is doing a tarot reading on the wizard. it essentially tells them that they are alone and that the wizard is marching towards death.

but like. no. just no. nope. the wizard isn't alone. the wizard wasn't left alone.

just because the wizard travels alone, it doesn't mean they are alone. they have friends. the wizard *just* met up with a bunch of them in selenopolis, ignoring under what circumstances. AND I DO NOT FUCKING SEE DASEIN LEAVING THE WIZARD ALONE. THE WIZARD HAS PEOPLE AROUND THEM.

since at least novus, spiralian inhabitants keep telling the wizard that the wizard is an outsider and will never belong. anyone would feel conflicted and alone in the wizard's shoes. but the wizard has so many people standing with them and by them. whoever is doing the tarot reading on the wizard is trying to amplify the wizards fears.
