It’s not been a good day for the UK trans communities… so let’s try and do some good!

okay I've been biting my tongue on this one a bit but the odds of any money you give to a uk trans or especially LGBT charity reaching a single uk transfem is vanishingly unlikely. the primary "resource" these orgs provide is jobs for trans people who can make it in a professional environment, and the vast majority of trans hires are tme (and thus unaffected by the judgement!).

if you know a charity run by transfems take a punt but otherwise please donate to fundraisers instead.

Ibrahim (@aburakhiaibrahim) and his family of 28 people have lost everything in this genocide. While a ceasefire deal has been reached, homes that have been destroyed are still destroyed, and displaced Palestinians still have no homes to go back to!

Please keep your eyes on Gaza! Even with the ceasefire deal, Israel has been intensifying its attack on Gaza. For this reason, it is expected that the coming few days will be especially hard for people in Gaza! The crossings have not yet opened and people are still hungry! Ibrahim's family consists of 28 people, including 15 children. They have been fundraising since March but has only raised $8,909 CAD (equivalent to $6,216 USD) Please continue supporting Palestinians in Gaza!
