Thinking of a fic with caleb keeping reader, who is an angel, captive against their will

HIIII, this is my first attempt at writing a small fic like this so please bear with me if there's any mistakes (⁠●⁠´⁠⌓⁠`⁠●⁠)

Caleb sat stiffly on her bed, her hands splayed on her knees—propping them up better for you to work on. Her fingers twitched,as if she wasn't used to the your touch. 

"This is stupid" Caleb muttered under her breath, though it lacked the annoyance she intended. It was more.. flustered? panicked? She couldn't tell herself.

"You agreed to this yourself" you hummed, your hands working meticulously—gently brushing a stroke of deep maroon polish over Caleb's nails and being careful to not paint over her cuticles

Caleb breath threatened to hitch every single time your skin grazed hers. She curses herself for it. Caleb always had a bold front infront of you,her beloved childhood best friend. She swaggered through crowds in clubs her band would play at and throwing her arm over your shoulder, pulling you close as if she owns you (and perhaps silently she did)—but this? this quiet delicate contact with you.

It was making her head spin ,borderline making her nauseous

Something about this moment felt intimate. Caleb tried to focus. She really really did, but your breath fanning over her fingers weren't helping at all.  Caleb tries not to stare too hard but her eyes kept on drifting—first at her nails, half of them already coated with the polish. Then to your hands— the same hands Caleb would hold naturally like they were perfectly crafted to fit together. Finally, her eyes would flick over to your face; your tongue slightly poking out from the corner of your mouth and face scrunched up in concentration. Caleb found herself staring particularly hard

She found it strangely endearing

'Get a grip' Caleb thought to herself. They've shared the same bed before, wore each other clothes- heck, at some point  in their friendship they've showed and compared each other breasts. This wasn't a big deal.

Except it was. Because no matter how much Caleb tries to deny it, no one can touch her like this. No one but you

You shifted under Caleb's gaze and pulled back, looking up at the tousled hair brunette. Your eyes warm and playful. "so, how we liking it so far?" You asked.

Caleb didn't even bother to look down at her nails, she swallowed hard at the look of your face. "Tsk, you suck" her lip twitching ever so slightly 

You only chuckled and took Caleb's hand in yours again—effectively making the poor girl's heart skip " i know that's Caleb-speak for 'i love it'"

Caleb didn't respond though there was a fond smile plastered on her face as you dipped your head back down to work on the other hand

And God did Caleb wish she could grow more fingers at that moment
