Welcome to Warrior Cats, where the Frecklewish who was a secondary character in a novella that was very far removed from the main canon timeline and came in a collection of three novellas ten years ago is far and away a more impactful and discussed and popular character than the Frecklewish who's alive right now in the main series in one of the clans' leadership positions and has been for multiple arcs and has existed as a character for fifteen years

Miracle
49 moons, Summer Born (Season Flexible) | Any Gender (AFAB) A mostly white lilac calico cat with scars and pale green eyes.
In seasons of recent memory, Miracle was known to those among the Storm Chasers not only as a spirited and successful cat, but also as one of their very own commanders, having served under such a title from a surprisingly young age after they and their twin sister, Melody, were brought to great heights as a result of a series of impressive storm chasing stints completed at each other’s sides. Young prodigies as they were, Miracle and Melody both were greatly admired by many among the ranks of the Storm Chasers, though some considered them to have egos a bit too overinflated for their own good.
Still, Miracle was a cat happy with their lot in life, and plenty popular with those that they looked after as commander. Though they and Melody had a tendency to steamroll whoever served as the Storm Chaser’s third commander alongside them, viewing them more of an “assistant” than a true equal, life within the Storm Chasers was peaceful enough – until Melody passed suddenly from unforeseen health complications, causing Miracle to become immensely paranoid for their own potential fate and future – as well as notably irritable in their role as commander without their sibling to support them.
It was not long before Miracle, although originally a well respected commander among their peers, was inevitably ousted from their position, practically stripped of the renown and respect that they had once held when they were outnumbered, one to two, by the other commanders of the Storm Chasers. They live now as a disgraced former commander among the Storm Chasers, forced to go through life without Melody and without their rank to give them purpose – time can only tell where their path forward will bring them.
If you are interested in playing Miracle, keep an eye out for applications opening soon come September 1st! When our opening post goes live, we will provide a document that goes into full detail regarding all the stories of each of our adoptable characters. We hope you are all excited to get to know the cats of the Storm Chasers even more!

The last of three sisters, characterized as a dark blot in the distance: Audacity, who brings with her the bravery to constantly test limits. Against Opportunity's wisdom and Curiosity's wide-eyed wonder, it is Audacity and what some may misconstrue as madness that gives Storm Chasers the courage to act as boldly as they do. After all, it is said by many Storm Chasers that as long as one has the audacity to act upon their wildest dreams, they will never truly live with regrets, as Audacity will whisk them away into the skies alongside her to claim any burdens they may carry.
Finally, to round out our trio of sisters, we meet Audacity! Now that we've gotten a glimpse of all three sisters, we have just a bit more lore to let you in on. Once again, this is just touching upon what we have waiting for you upon the full release of our Storm Chaser document coming on September 1st when the group opens for applications. For our final day of introductions to our stormy sisters, we hope you enjoy getting to learn more about them and about how the Storm Chasers live their lives...and, in this segment, how they might feel about what comes after their lives are over.
Because of the way that Storm Chasers conduct their lives, death is not uncommon for them to experience. Facing the reality of death with courage is considered a must for Storm Chasers, and when death does come for them, they do not view it as the devastating blow impossible to recover from that most do. Though some grief is to be expected alongside feelings of loss and mourning, death as a whole is meant to herald the celebration of a cat’s life rather than be a source of sorrow. The presence of death for most Storm Chasers is understood not as something to fear, but rather something that they walk often almost willingly with as it may come for them at any point in their risky lifestyle. They greet death as a friend and approach it more calmly and with a level of certain “acceptance,” especially as many of them have taken up a tradition of viewing death via storms or other dangerous disasters as being something that will preserve them in the afterlife as a part of the storms themselves. This belief in a cycle of recreation is just one fragment of comfort that the Storm Chasers allow themselves to relish in when it comes to accepting the inherent danger of their lives. Stories spread that ensure if you die while in pursuit of a storm you will become one with the open skies and dark clouds, that you will assemble into rain that provides for those you leave behind, that you will forevermore be preserved amongst the booming lightning and thunder, more powerful than ever, give reason for those who risk their lives chasing such great storms to keep doing so.

A part of the legendary trio of sisters who created the very first storm, Curiosity is well known for her desire to explore every path she can as well as for her fondness for creating entirely new situations altogether. Cats within the Storm Chasers who find themselves in unique conundrums will often attribute their situation to an experiment laid before them on Curiosity's behalf to quell their nerves, as they expect that in the end, she will help them through their troubles; she only wants to observe how they might handle an odd set of circumstances first, and then perhaps she'll be satisfied for some time.
Yesterday, we met Opportunity, and today we get to know her sister Curiosity! Just like before, we'll take the time to go over some Storm Chaser lore with an overview of naming culture within the Storm Chasers. There will be more to come in the full form of our lore document which will release on our opening date of September 1st, but for now, enjoy what we have provided for you below!
Within the Storm Chasers, naming is a unique undertaking that varies depending on a cat’s position within the group. Most officially established Storm Chasers are expected to bear “virtue names,” names and words that denote a personality trait or quality that particularly describes said cat and may relate to the way they approach chasing storms. These virtue names may vary from things such as “Patience” to “Tenacity” to “Valiant" and many others between; not all may sound inherently positive, and they vary widely in approach. Still, bearing a virtue name is something that Storm Chasers see as a sign of connection not only to the storms themselves but to Opportunity, Curiosity, and Audacity. Adopting a virtue name is something that may be done in many forms. Choosing to ask one’s commander for a new name when a cat has officially established themself as a Storm Chaser is a traditional method, but it is not unheard of for a cat to choose their own name once their reputation has been accepted and established, or if they survive a particularly troublesome encounter with a storm. Young cats born to established Storm Chasers are often given virtue names from kittenhood to encourage them to stay on the path that their parents have chosen and to earn favor for them with the storms that they will spend their lives chasing. For those not of official Storm Chaser rank, adopting a new name is not unheard of in other forms. Most frequently, cats will take on names having to do with natural weather events such as Rain, Hail, Cloud, or other similar terminology. Natural names are most favored within the Storm Chasers, and those who come from other walks of life (loners, former kittypets, and the like) who refuse to alter their names to fit this pattern as initiates will be frequently looked at with suspicion.

One of three sisters said to have created the first ever storm, Opportunity is a mythical figure whom all Storm Chasers revere. Often considered the wisest of the three in tales recounted by those who carry on the legacy of the three sisters, Opportunity is the de facto "leader" of the trio, the spark that lit the way for every Storm Chaser to follow.
Today, with a look at and introduction to Opportunity, one of three legendary figures in Storm Chaser culture, we bring to you a fragment from our Storm Chaser lore document! This segment reviews the way in which leadership functions within the Storm Chasers. This information, as well as so much more, will all be available on a detailed document that will be fully dropped come September 1st when applications officially open, but for now, enjoy a piece of the complete thing!
Leaders within the Storm Chasers serve under the title of “commander,” and are most often highly valued and established Storm Chasers with many successful ventures to recount. Up to three commanders may serve the group at any time in a mirroring of the original three sisters who established the storms as a whole, though there are not always three active commanders ruling over the group as deaths and injuries are frequent. Occasionally, commanders may butt heads too consistently to agree to lead together. In cases such as these, typically the Storm Chaser with the least experience will either step down or attempt to gain the “upper paw” by going on a grand venture to prove themself worthy or gain more respect. If at all possible, it is seen as ideal for siblings to lead side by side as commanders. These types of structures usually earn the most respect from fellow Storm Chasers and will see more group cohesion as a result. As a commander, a cat’s duties include tracking storms and weather patterns, maintaining a general consensus of their fellow Storm Chasers’ needs and activity, and making the “final call” of when to pursue significant storms. They will also be seen as responsible for disaster recovery efforts. Although commanders are respected and usually revered, they are not inherently listened to by all those within the Storm Chasers. Cats may often break out of their rulings to go against what was asked of them by their commanders if they believe it will earn them high praise in the end. However, any squandered efforts may result in long periods of being shamed by their fellow Storm Chasers, and even actively being shunned from further storm chasing plans.
