Quote
hypocrite
I serve God in church yet i repeat my sins, i easily fall into it without thinking what it will effect me and how it would hurt the God that i serve and swore to devote my life to. I say that I’m a servant, follower, and that i love my God yet i hurt Him daily. I don’t deserve all the goodness He has done in my life, all the blessings, the love, the protection and the redemption that He has done for me to be saved from eternal death. His grace is sufficient, His love is unfailing, His mercy is unlimited. May God forgive me for all the things i’ve done and for the pain that i caused Him.

As we move on from the year 2016 to 2017, lets not forget what happened and use it as reminder and gain knowledge from it. Look back to your devotions see how God worked in your life and continue to build yourself up with the word of God in 2017. May God bless us more in this new year! #2016out

It may not just be physically but also mentally in anything you are facing right now
Burned Out
Are you the kind of Christian that goes to Church 7 days a week? “Kulang na lang duon kana tumira”, because of all practices and activities you guys have at Church. And thoughts just bangs on your mind: “I’m tired… When is this gonna end… I want to go home… I’m always the one left with responsibility… How come he/she is not doing anything..” You want to be angry, but then God made you realized that YOU WANT THIS… YOU ASKED FOR THIS.
Do you remember the time when you told God “Lord, I surrender my life to You, please use me for Your glory alone.” The truth is many of us are running away whenever God is calling us. REMEMBER: YOU PRAYED FOR THIS. A CHRISTIAN MUST PERSEVERE AND PAY THE PRICE OF SACRIFICE.
Do not panic because many Christians are also experiencing BURNOUT. You are not the only one in fact I, myself also experiencing it right now. It is the time of the year again when the Lord is using me to the extent of my ability; and the enemy is also attacking me double time. My whole body feel so tired and exhausted from all the practices we have for our Church Anniversary. It affected the way I think -easily irritated, I don’t know why. And also, I complained for many things… then I realized that I’m going back to my old self again.
GOOD NEWS: God is so good because He is letting us come to Him freely. It says in Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
So, whenever we feel BURNOUT let us come to Jesus. Let us seek His face and ask to renew the joy in serving Him. Then He will for sure give us true and satisfying rest in His presence.
No turning back. God’s joy is our strength. -Nehemiah 08:10

Addiction to Salvation
There are many kinds of addiction in this world, there are addiction in drugs, alcohol, cigarette and one of the most popular to men is pornography. I am one of those who has this addiction, i may be free from drugs and alcohol but admitting to myself and other people that i have pornography addiction, it is very embarrassing and is very hard to overcome. I believe God will turn this addiction into a testimony.
I know i am not the only one who is struggling in this addiction, i know many of you are like me and afraid of what other people might tell about you and i know you might think that you’re the only one and feel bad about yourself and think that no one will be able to love you and that others will look at you differently. Some of you might think you are so far from God and think that He has forgotten you. I just want to remind you are not alone, GOD will love you just the way you are and is even willing to take away from you this GUILT in your heart and replace it with LOVE. (Psalm 10:17-18)
The enemy wants you to feel bad about yourself and fill your mind with lies about you not being able to change and that you are out of God’s reach, BUT, the truth is that God doesn’t care about the FACT that you struggle in pornography but He wants you to be reminded about the TRUTH, that no matter how many times fail Him and sin against Him that He is waiting for you to come to back home, in GOD’s arms, to comfort you and to tell you how much He loves you to remind you that He has already forgiven you. (Isaiah 40:1-2)
You must FOCUS in GOD’s WORDS and dedicate yourself to HIM, let Him turn that BROKEN VESSEL into a LIVING TESTIMONY, so that many people will look upon your life and be reminded that we have a God who is LOVING and FORGIVING (Isaiah 40: 3-5), That He willingly gave His one and only SON to take away our sins and be freed from your kind of addiction and that he has great plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11).
Give Praise to God! give thanks for all He has done in your life and shout a joyful noise, declare VICTORY over you addiction, Lift up the name of God and declare that He is the LORD over your Life and Addiction. (Isaiah 40:9-11) Trust in the Lord for His ways are greater than our ways and He rules over everything in this world.! (Isaiah 40:12-14, 18-31)
