Thinking about the fact that in the letter we read at the beginning of the game, we learn that the original plan was for the Luminary to be taken in by King Carnelian and trained as a knight of Heliodor. The Luminary was supposed to train alongside Jasper and Hendrik.

Date Everywhere
Post may contain Spoilers for Date Everything!
Hearing all the fan content about the datables moving out and The Player dealing with it have made my partner and I come up with an idea for a spin-off/sequel game called Date Everywhere, in which the player character finally leaves their house.
Following the events of the original game, the player had their life completely upended twice in a row by falling in love, and then losing it all… Not their love. Their fucking furniture. Their walls and floor may still be attached to the building, but everything from their microwave to the grand piano they inherited from the home’s previous owner is in dire need of replacement.
We now see the player living in a threadbare home with a sad futon instead of a furnished living room, and a single portable electric cooktop because you couldn’t afford to replace your microwave, stove, air fryer, and toaster.
The player also decides to purchase a new pair of dateviators, now mass produced by their old pair (Skylar!) who kind of, uh. Left. Introducing Sheldon Shades, a much less charismatic and chill romantic facilitator who meagrely, but eagerly, urges you to leave the house and see what there is to see, and maybe even D.A.T.E.
Date Everywhere includes a whole new cast of characters, including
Carlson, Your Car
Doreen “Doorie” Matte, Your Doormat
Flavio, Your Futon
Mei Lin, Your Mail Box
Logan, the Logs from your Backyard Firepit
R. Kayde, An Arcade Machine
Perri, the local Playground
Hugo Hotts, a hot tub
Paula Dinn, a suit of knight’s armor
“But how does the player have access to a hot tub and an arcade and knight’s armor when they can’t even afford new furniture?”
Because Date Everywhere features several new locations, such as your backyard, a museum, and more! You’ll just have to find them!
You can also find Remixed Datables.
The first time you meet a Remix, Sheldon notifies you that they might look familiar, but they aren’t who you think they are. They might know the version of them that you do, but don’t push your luck acting like you can get them to fall for you following the same beats. Some include:
Tiny Freddy, your new minifridge because you couldn’t afford a regular one
Car Dorian, self explanatory
Fresh Airyn, the light breeze in your backyard
Modern Artt
Clothes Pinn (Bobby)
Street Light Lux
River Rapids
Arm Chairemi
If seeing your favorite characters reimagined is just a little too painful, don’t worry. A brand new Roomer System will certainly soothe your aching heart. You see, some of your old friends still text you on thiscord, and they might even give you some helpful hints about where to find secret routes!
Note: This is not a fan game in production! Just a series of fun ideas and character synopses for a theoretical sequel :)

Thinking once again on how Eleven's initial Luminary skill tree panels correspond to one stat each for his friends, and how each of those panels requires eight points to unlock.
Here's what I think matches to each character:
Zap: Eleven
Deftness + 10: Erik
Poof: Veronica
Holy Protection: Serena
Agility + 10: Sylv
Pep Chance + 5%: Rab
Strength + 10: Jade
Resilience + 10: Hendrik

Dqxi Party Members thoughts on the Luminary? Could be platonic or romantic idk it's your choice. But I like platonic more if anyone even cares.
First of all, thank you so much for your patience! Very sorry that it took me so long to finish this ask :( I hope you enjoy reading! I tried to write these headcanons in a way that’s up for interpretation regarding romantic vs platonic :)
The DQXI Party and The Luminary
Erik
Trust is a finite resource. Erik left most of it behind in a cave hidden away in Snifelheim, with the person he trusted himself to save. For anyone else he’d ever met, trust was a thing of convenience. Business, even.
Regardless of how much he trusted The Luminary, Erik needed to see it through. Accompanying him on his journey was a means to an end, the way to get what Erik wanted. Of course, he soon began feeling a much deeper connection with the Luminary.
Erik saw a young man who was far from home and in way over his head, carrying a burden to be a savior. This stranger was not unlike himself. The feelings were unfamiliar to Erik at first. Fondness, safety, empathy. A person to trust. The Luminary is his best friend. He’d find him in every lifetime.
Veronica
This is her destiny. There’s nothing greater. As a child, she’d prayed every night for the day she’d finally embark on this journey. That she could be brave, unwavering, and the best aide she could be. The Luminary was her life’s mission.
Meeting the Luminary was. Well. It could’ve gone a lot smoother. Perhaps she could’ve been less. Rash. And it would’ve been great if Serena was actually there where she was supposed to be! But can you blame her for feeling underwhelmed?? This great Luminary looks like a lost child! No, she will not acknowledge the irony of this.
Despite her initial attitude, she comes to care the Luminary. A bit of a hardheaded fool, he’s kind. He’s trying. She can see why he needs protection. He definitely activates her big sister tendencies.
Serena
Destiny is a funny thing. As children, Serena was not nearly as prepared for the day they left home. What if meeting the Luminary would be frightening? What if she just disappointed everyone? What if she can’t be as brave as her sister?
Oh, this is what it means to be brave. To be a boy from the middle of nowhere made to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders with nothing but borrowed hope.
Serena’s a romantic, she’s always loved storybooks with great heroes and princesses and happy ever after. Knowing the Luminary helped her learn that there’s more than one way to be a hero. The Luminary is her hero. He helped her to become a hero herself. He taught her how to be brave.
Sylvando
He remembers stories of the Luminary he read about growing up, a symbol of hope everlasting for the entire known world. What must it be like, to live with such purpose? His father would always dangle these riveting tales above his head to try and motivate him growing up.
When he finally encounters the Luminary, Sylvando looks at his life that has gone down a path no one really expected of him, not even himself. This isn’t his destiny. But maybe, alongside the Luminary, he can find it?
Oh, honey. What Sylvando finds in the something he’d almost forgotten. What it means to have will. Dedication. Throwing everything you have into what you believe in. A if only he’d smile just a little more?
Jade
The Luminary is an odd thing to her. If she had to be honest, sometimes she looks at his face and it hurts. It hurts to think about the life they could’ve shared if things would’ve been just a little different. Seeing each other on holidays, running through palace halls. Learning to carry the weight of the crown together. But that’s not the world they live in.
Is she grateful? It’s hard to say. But she wouldn’t have half the things she’d have if they lived a “normal” life together. And she can’t spite him for any of it. She just hopes they can make up for lost time somehow.
The Luminary represents a lot of things to Jade. He’s her history, her family, a hope of forgiveness and the future. To some extent an integral part of her own identity. She really tries not to project too much of this onto him. At the end of the day, she just wants him to be safe and happy. She wants him to be able to live as a boy, maybe as her brother, without the pressure of being everyone’s hero.
Rab
His beloved grandson. His beacon of hope that carried him through the years after he’d lost everything. A reflection of his dear daughter, the only remnant of his felled kingdom. If anything or anyone were to carry the history and heritage of Dundrasil, it’d have to be his boy.
He feels insurmountable guilt for missing out on so much of the Luminary’s younger years. Of course, it wasn’t his fault. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, really. Okay, it was Mordegon’s fault. But still.
The Luminary makes him feel young again. Once the world settles down, he wants nothing but to spend quality time with his boy. Some days Rab teaches the boy how to make his favorite sandwich recipe, and on other days Rab gets a fishing lesson.
Hendrik
At first, the Luminary is a threat to everything Hendrik has lived for. The kingdom that saved him, the peace of Erdrea. And then so suddenly, his world is turned on its head.
The Luminary is. Not. What he expected, as far as expectations for the reincarnation of the ancient prophetic hero go. He’s very small. He’s also very forgiving. Hendrik’s guilt haunts him as dreadfully as the fall of Zwaardrust. He is wholly committed to atoning for his actions. But the Luminary doesn’t seem nearly as bothered. They’re just friends now :)
Jasper
Throughout the events of the game, the Luminary is Jasper’s prey. His ruthlessness isn’t personal. Well, it is, just not in the way you’d think. The Luminary is far more than the darkspawn, he is a chance at finally besting Hendrik. An accomplishment that could finally prove his own worth.
In a distant timeline, where Jasper is spared of Mordegon’s grasp on his vulnerable heart, I still think he’d look at the Luminary with a degree of resentment. Yet again, Hendrik chooses to follow someone else before he remembers his best friend. Some hero you are.

Suddenly wondering if the numbers Sylv deals with Hot Lick are supposed to be in degrees Celsius. It would certainly explain why, at level 99 and with maximum deftness, the three hits average-out around thirty-eight/thirty-nine. That's just above the average human temperature!
It would also explain why it never goes beyond that; Sylv's body wouldn't have been able to sustain higher temperatures for too long, and it's why he always grimaces after using the ability.
The highest of the three hits I've ever seen it go is when it critical hits; so far, it can go up to eighty-two. The highest non-critical hit I've seen is forty-three.
Addendum: Against malicious cyclowns, Hot Lick can go up to fifty-three damage normally. When I get to tidying-up everyone's charm soon, I'll have to try Hot Lick on them and see what criticals I get.
