started thinking about lucids again. oliver is so funny cause he was suicidal but instead of going about it in a normal way he decided to go around to random people telling them to wake up on the off chance that he would be a figment of their dreaming mind and by them waking up he would cease to exist. and the funniest part is he was right and it almost worked

We as a society do NOT talk enough about Benjamin from Lucids as a character-

His wife isn’t real he cheated on his not-real-dream-wife and then joined a cult based around a guy who appeared in a random commercial in 1997 He changed his name from Benjamin to Jasper because of said cult and probably ate purely bananas for at least a few months He’s simultaneously the smartest 7 year old to ever exist and the most average 25 year old on earth because he fell asleep in math class once and never woke up He has a daughter who haunts the narrative along with his wife he has a weirdly soulmatey relationship with a guy who looks exactly like him and also accidently ruined his life because the guy refused to go to therapy He sucks at telling jokes and laughs way to loud after telling them his life is a dream inside of another guy’s dream that Benjamin dreamed up
