Leaving
Hello everyone, Mayo here! After thinking about this a lot I’ve decided to leave TTU. This group was what got me back into RPing after a long while, and I’m very grateful for everyone who I got to interact with while I was here, but I feel like I don’t really have much to give now. This also helped me learn how RPing works on tumblr and how groups like these work; I had a really fun time.
But I feel like it’s time to move on. I made myself an indie blog a while ago, so I’m planning to focus on that, as well as getting some other blogs running if possible. In a way, I think doing indie RP gives me a bit more freedom in some aspects. It doesn’t mean I’ll stay away from groups completely, though.
So, thank you for letting me write with you, and sorry if I wasn’t all that active in the discord ^^;; And if you want to write something together or feel like talking, I’m always available ( #9420)
So once again, thank you all. And I hope everyone keeps on improving. And be happy!

Rapunzel smiled at the girl as she nodded her head, ready to repeat what they had to do together for their project. “It’s really simple actually! We have to pick a theme or location and work together to provide photography and artwork of it. The photo has to be the non-fiction portion compared to the fiction of the painting I’ll be working on!”
The brunette had fallen in love with the project when it was mentioned because it gave her the opportunity to work on her more creative side and make things up instead of her usual perspective work, and there was so many possibilities the two could work on!
“Sounds really fun right! We can start planning right now if you’d like. I’m open to doing anything so if you have anything specific you’d like to do I’d love to hear it!”
“Oh. Sounds simple enough.” Her eyes widened slightly. It wasn’t usual to get such simple assignments. There was usually some kind of twist that would mess things up. Gladly, that wasn’t the case, which meant Lapis could get more time to rest after that insane trip.
The project was left open, so they did have a lot of options to choose from. She wasn’t sure what to choose for their location, but she knew she’d get some good ideas once they decided.
“Sure. Do you have any ideas? Anything the others haven’t chosen yet?” The brunette looked very optimistic regarding the whole thing, so she was sure she’d thought of something. “I’m open for ideas, but a more minimalistic and simple place doesn’t sound too bad.”

There had been many talks of hosting a minor art exhibit with the art and photography club, the minor idea however was for the students to partner up with someone and each create work based on the same subject.
Rapunzel had been partnered up with another girl she had seen from time to time before but never really talked with. She had usually been very to herself so she had no idea what to expect but never the less, she was excited to work with her and see what they would base their projects on.
Once they finished assigning the partners, Rapunzel quickly made her way over to the girl, her usual bright smile on her face as she did.
“Hi there! You’re Lapis right? I’m Rapunzel, I’m excited to be working with you!
Some students were still tired after a long trip to a city nearby. After finishing up the assignments related to that trip, they were greeted with a new one the moment they came back. Some tried to hide outside of campus, but that wouldn’t do much, considering they had been partnered with other students right away.
Lapis wasn’t happy with the whole thing, but there wasn’t much she could do. She was dragged to the trip and wasn’t given any time to rest, not even when she arrived back. Knowing she had no choice, she eventually warmed up to the idea of a new assignment and asked for her partner’s name. She didn’t need to move a muscle, as she quickly found the cheerful girl she’d work with. It was someone she’d seen before around the halls, but they never got to talk much.
“Yeah, nice to meet you.” She brought a hand to the back of her neck “Uh…I was a bit busy with other things, so…could you fill me in on what we have to do?”

Prompto could only imagine the beautiful shots Lapis has captured. They were probably amazing. He rose off the ground but not before a dandelion hit his nose and he sneezed the fluffy everywhere.
“Excuse me” He could not help but chuckle. Once he was standing he offered her a hand up off the grass.
“I agree where else should we go? Any good ideas?” He said with a smile.
Prompto was up for any suggestion his partner had. They made a pretty good team finding these great shots. He stretched his arms feeling them move back in proper place.
Lapis flinched as he sneezed. After a few seconds of being stuck in place, she took one step back quickly.
“Oh, it’s….it’s okay.” She nodded her head, smiling slightly after her startled mode calmed down. Noticing she was still on the ground somehow, she took his hand and stood up.
“Yeah, not sure. Can’t say I know that many places around here…” She looked around, but all she could see were the trees. “I’d say the beach, but I don’t know if we’d get any good shots from there. It’s far from here as well.” She sighed, looking for ideas.

This was not part of the plan for the Korean male. He really was a bit annoyed being dragged into a snow ball fight. Though he wasn’t really dragged, he was being pelted by snow as he tried to avoid those who were playing. Seeing as how this battle wasn’t going to end anytime soon he made his way inside. He couldn’t stand he cold anymore due to the snow that was clutching onto his clothing.
He did notice the girl who gave him a glance but shrugged it off. All he needed right now was a place to wait out the others. Plus try to warm up, it would get complicated if the snow melted and left him cold. He didn’t wan to end up sick so he tried to shake of the snow in his hair and clothing.
“This is really annoying.” He mumbled to himself.
All Lapis wanted to do was to take a bath and go to sleep. But the light outside was so strong that she couldn’t even close her eyes without them hurting. Luckily, she could still take her bath, putting on warmer and baggier clothes. With a towel wrapped around her head, she made herself some hot chocolate and brought it to the living area along with a plate of cookies, butting both on a round table. She sat down without saying a word, letting her head fall back in hopes of getting tired enough to nap right on the chair.
“I hate this.” She sighed, speaking in a more monotone voice as she got more comfortable.
Taking a sip of her hot chocolate and eating one of the cookies, she took a glance at the people outside. It was hard to imagine having fun in that weather.

Jaune checked the time, and it was starting to get a little late, and his computer and bed were singing to him right now. But…at the same time, he didn’t want to end his first “hangout” in days. Looking at Lapis, through, she looked like she was true to her word, and was planning on hibernating.
Jaune heard what Lapis asked, and as much as he wanted to reject her offer…he felt like he would lose the argument pretty quickly.
Smiling at Lapis, “Okay, I guess that’s fine with me.”
Jaune tapped his fingers on the table, “Well, my bed is sounding pretty night right now, but…I was actually having fun hanging out with you. You’re the first person that I actually got really in deep about art and actually debated with. Everyone else that I’ve talked to about art has just tuned me out and put on a polite smile…so this was really refreshing.
Jaune got up from the table, getting his things. He really didn’t want to say goodbye to Lapis, but maybe they could hangout again.
Getting an idea, “Hey Lapis? Do you have a cell? Because if you do, we can exchange numbers!”
Lapis fought her instinct of raising an eyebrow. He didn’t seem too pleased with the idea. There wasn’t much they could do, though, and she wasn’t planning on trading her lengthy sleep for anything.
“You were?” Her instincts kicked back in, raising both eyebrows this time. But thinking about it for a second, she did agree with him a bit. “Yeah, I see what you mean. Can’t say I have too many people to argue with about art.” She shrugged. “And I hate when people do that, I refuse to tune anyone out. Especially with a polite smile.” She rolled her eyes, shrugging slightly again.
She got to the door, feeling the cold wind right on her eyes. She suddenly regretted not paying attention to the weather forecast advising to wear more layers.
“Yeah, I have one.” She got her phone out, surprised he asked her for her number. “Here, add your number in.” She handed it to him, pointing to the screen.
“I’m surprised you decided to exchange numbers with the person who fought you because of your artstyle in the middle of an exhibit.” She let out a short-lived smile, taking her phone back.
Can You Not?

Prompto in his new perspective on life was not really getting anywhere. Although the grass that was trying to sneak up his nose definitely had a much bigger presence in his life then when they were just brushing his boots. At the mention of water creatures he immediately thought of the fishing trips he has gone on with his friends.
“Do you mean like gold fish or some other kind of critter?” He asked as he sat up from the tickling blades. giving up on the pure genius that was the close up of a pebble.
Then he pulled his camera of his neck and propped it up his knee as he looked at the pictures for their project.
Lapis was starting to get tired of being there. The grass was itchy, which forced her to constantly change position, but none was comfortable. Not even the conversation was making it better, even though she loved talking about photography and art in general. The best thing she could do was bear with it for a while longer and find a way to leave later.
“Well, I used to take photos of gold fish, yes. A thing I really like doing is going to a river or the sea and photographing what you can see from the outside. It can give some nice effects, because of the water’s movement and the light, and all.”
Getting up, she put her camera back on her neck. “How about we find some other spot? This seems to have given all it has.” She tried being as nice as possible, not to make it seem that she didn’t want to be there. She simply thought a change in scenery was much needed.

Yang felt the corners of her mouth tug upward as a huge grin took over her features. It was great that this complete stranger could say something like that. “Do you really think so?” she asked. It wasn’t like she didn’t believe the girl, but honestly she just wanted to hear it again. “Yeah! I think that it fits me. And sometimes that good. But sometimes it’s bad.”
“I kinda get angry really easily,” she admitted. It wasn’t something that she liked to admit, but it happened fairly often. “Though I try to contain my anger.
Yang wondered momentarily how Lapis was doing right now. The nighttime normally didn’t bother Yang in the slightest. She was always wide awake, feeling the most energetic when the moon was high in the sky. And Yang bothered the girl’s photography; she hoped that she didn’t completely interrupt it.
“It’s a nice name,” the blonde said. “Like I dig it.”
At Lapis’ comment Yang couldn’t help but laugh aloud, quickly covering her mouth to quickly kill her own gusto. “That was good, though!” she affirmed. “Like it’s great that cats have nine lives, because I’m pretty sure I’ve already used a few of them.”
Again, Yang eyed the camera. “So why do you take pictures at night?”
Lapis found herself slowly move away from the blonde as her grin started appearing. Never had she seen such a cartoony looking face. It was rather impressive, actually.
“Yeah. I don’t usually lie when I compliment someone.” She slowly nodded in hopes of not being killed. The girl was nice, but there was something in that face that screamed ‘dangerous’. It wasn’t a bad thing, it was just slightly unsettling. She would surely get used to it.
“Huh.” It was at that moment that she understood why she felt so uncomfortably weary. She decided not to comment on her anger issues, just in case.
Quickly shaking her head to wipe out her confused expression, Lapis looked at her camera.
“I haven’t done this in a while, actually. University work is kind of in the way. But there’s something about a night sky that is very calming. The way the stars can make patterns like that makes it seem like someone painted them on. The whole scenery makes for some pretty good shots, I’d say.” She smiled slightly, looking proudly through the pictures she’d taken.
