I'm literally only a few seconds into the episode and I'm already mad. Are you fucking serious?! This trash is considered a commemorative work? When this time last year Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card was still in Nakayoshi? CCS should be getting this honor, NOT this vampire trash.

Not surprised they censored this, just annoyed. How about instead of censoring and changing history you're offended by, you instead educate people on the fact that this was an actual British tradition at one point, and obviously no longer used because it lead to bullying and sexual abuse. Sick and tired of softening bad sounding things just to cater to sensitive, ignorant Westerners who know nothing about history and other cultures. Erasing and censoring history doesn't make the bad thing go away. For once I can't blame the translator for mistranslating something, because CloverWorks used a completely different word in the anime than what Ciel actually said in the manga.

Part 2. More cuts...

These last few episodes were so unfaithful to the manga, they really affected my enjoyment of it all. The series started off so strong too, and then they just kept cutting so many important scenes out, it was ridiculous. I don't know how they can continue when they made all those scenes near at the end.

Off to a very bad start.

They completely butchered the first few pages of chapter 20. Why?

This was a reference to Suu Morishita's other manga, Hibi Chouchou. I need to read it sometime.

Why are they doing this now? They skipped a HUGE section of chapter 21! This college scene is supposed to be near the end of chapter 21.

I hate mirrored scenes so fucking much THERE IS NO FUCKING POINT, STOP IT! STOP!

They cut this out and instead had both Emma and Shin at their workplaces...

Why did they switch these events around? That's so bad. The college scenes were supposed to take place AFTER their date.

The manga did this scene better... I like how you can see Yuki under his arms.

They cut so many things out I've hit the photo limit. So on to Part 2...

Some more scenes they cut...

They didn't paint his nails.

More cuts....

They animated this scene well. You could really feel how anxious Yuki felt. Yet another reason masks are dangerous and fucking pointless. They accomplished nothing, all they did was make life even more difficult for the deaf. One of the negative parts of Japanese culture is their obsession with masks... it's disturbing.

Suu Morishita said this scene was actually from a one-shot included with the special edition of volume 7. The director saw it and adapted it into the anime.

More cuts...

While I don't mind adding original scenes here or there, I don't want it to be at the expense of scenes that are actually in the manga. You should always adapt everything in the chapters FIRST, and if you have space for something extra, consult the original author and make something to put in that leftover space.

Episode 10... almost finished. I don't know why they opened with the fireworks when those scenes don't happen in chapter 16, they happen in chapter 17.

Why are they cutting so many things out?! It's getting so bad.

It was Spanish in the manga, not German.
