so i guess it has come to this, hi im dawn im an autistic trans man and i dont wanna get much into detail but i am in massive financial struggle. ive been trying to get a job for several months with no success, and have been depending on commission money to help my single mom and two younger siblings at home with things like paying the bills and rent, and buying medication and food. my constantly decreasing mental health has been making it extremely difficult to keep up with commissions enough to get by, and i worry for whats going to happen once the little i have now is over

Hello, I have been in the process of diagnosing my chronic fatigue and was previously put on new medications to see if they improve my energy. My doctor has been monitoring this with me and I need to get blood work accordingly. This usually ends up being around $100ish and I also have to pick up some more expensive medications that will run me around $165. This, groceries, and a rent hike I've been dealing with for a while is very stressful for me financially. I anticipate needing about $650 in assistance for this month (which also happens to be my birthday month, so help will be doubly appreciated 💖). Thank you very much!

lots of times if I tell my boyfriend that I am proud of him for dealing with a situation, or that I'm sorry he's having to deal with a situation, he will say "no it's my own fault." meaning that he feels like he doesn't deserve praise or comfort for dealing with a situation that is his fault. (for example a financial problem caused or exacerbated by him having been too anxious or absentminded to deal with the situation sooner.) and I tell him this and I will tell y'all this, that I don't believe that. I think you are even braver and stronger for taking steps to deal with a mess that is of or partly of your own creation, because you have to cope with guilt and shame on top of the thing itself, and because you're fighting against the same ingrained dysfunction in yourself that caused the mess. that's like the bravest and most constructive thing you can do and you should be proud and I am proud of you.
