I was casually looking for scenes from EMH to edit with when I came across this subtle bit of acting from Mr. Jennings that made me question my entire writing/acting career.
You can see the exact moment the switch flipped in his head. His shock at the bright blue sky after being in the dark for so long. Another exhausted heartbreak at the realization he's got a gun to his back, but pain is so familiar he barely cares. The betrayal when he realizes who's holding it, but he isn't shocked over it at this point, instead falling into total apathetic breakdown.
He portrayed all this, with JUST HIS EYES, in about ~7 seconds.
