Royal Presentation

Bella's lair was more difficult to get across without detection, but NiGHTS managed. He darted around without his shard's energy flowing. Surely he would not be spotted.

He spotted the large arachnid and smiled. Placing down a box nearby, he left without a trace.

Inside was a small bunch of jewels and a card.

It had been a long, long day, making sweaters for the various dream residents, and Bella, exhausted, returned to her den. The small shimmer of purple paper did not escape her eyes, however, and with great care the spider took the box, and carefully unraveled the paper. Ripping it to shreds was simply not her style. 

The contents pleased her, putting it mildly enough, and was so enraptured by the glow she barely noticed the card inside. But of course, curiosity soon got the better of the monarch, and she held the small card between her claws and read.

A moment of silence, and then Bella sighed, and smiled as much as her fangs would allow. "Young, foolish Prince."
