Since When You Get This Big?
While my thoughts are busy concerning of my daily tasks and routines, i cannot help but notice how my son has become taller now. Like “when did you get taller? You werent this tall a week ago”
And i am thankful. Physically - for now - i know i do a good job. Time flies they say. Indeed it is i agree.
I hope i can live in the moment without having too much of concerns of anything.
I love my son. A lot. I am super blessed to have him as my son. Despite all the bittersweet we been through.
I’m feeling sleepy. I guess that’s all for now.
Till next time, people ❤️

The art in cooking
If there is one thing i am not consistently good / professional at - yet i still love doing it - is cooking.
As a wife, for me, it is important. I have learnt a lot of little skills of it, especially since the beginning of my marriage. Years passed, i become a mom. I learnt a lot more even, especially when my child started to eat adult’s food. Cooking food that he enjoys, is really heartwarming. Double-triple heartwarming than that of with his father. I think because kid is more innocent than an adult can be. (Daddy, i don’t love you less. I hope i won’t, may Allah protect our marriage and make it last till jannah.)
Back to topic! Other than heartwarming, i find people who can cook gorgeous too! Not physically but in terms of skill. A gorgeous skill. Cause not everyone is talented in it.
Oh, when people say the secret ingredient is “love.” I believe in that. A gorgeous skill that needs the secret ingredient called love.
Yet, that love gotta come with humbling sincerity too. What i mean is, it ain’t the kind of saying; i cook and share this because i gotta brag of it arrogantly. No… it is the kind of; i cook because it makes me happy to see my family (and myself) happy eating my food. Even when im not very good at it. I always try my best to be good at it
Another good thing about cooking is; it is cost-effective than dining in a restaurant / take-outs. With that extra money you saved from cooking. You get to buy other things you love as well. Or more portion for savings/investments. Hows that sound?
Yet… i do not dismiss the idea of dining in a restaurant / take-outs. Cause, come on, i love eating other food too!
Cooking is a form of art. Art you create with love, sincerity and being humble about it: will make great masterpiece for the right viewers. It may be little, it may be a lot. But always do what is right. My viewer in my “cooking art” is my husband and son.
Sometimes they love the art, sometimes they love it less. It is okay. Not everything gotta be perfect. One thing they should (and i believe they do) know: i try my best - always!
Let us appreciate this art of cooking. Within our means. Every little and big thing matters!
Cheers.

I am a mother
The only constant thing is ‘changes’. Disbelieving and believing i am one. Not knowing i could do this and that; but i eventually can.
“That is hard, that is tiring, poor you mother” said certain moms who have a village or women who are not moms (but, it doesn’t take a genius to see how hard it is, isn’t it?)
But then, i gotta agree with them - cause i am surprised myself where i get all these strengths from. (I thank God for this.)
After all, dears, this little blessing will always, always stay a blessing and an answered prayer; despite everything that happened, is happening and will happen.
I pray so my child will become a good one in this world and in the hereafter. I can only pray and plan. I leave the result to the Almighty.
I will continue to raise and nurture this child in the best way i can, within my capabilities.
One thing for sure. Mommy ( & daddy ) love you. 🤍
