Some difference in the aerodynamics of these particles then causes the positively charged particles to separate from the negatively charged particles. Lightning occurs when this charge separation becomes too great for air to resist the flow of electricity. He looked down below him at the charred remains of the demon who attempted to make friends with him, a sick pity in his eye as his gaze traveled back up to the sky. "I understand..." He whispered.
