Had a mini high of troll hunters a bit wanted to fully shade it and such but wasn’t in the mood to so just colored

Angor headcanon.

WARNING⚠️: Just a bit of angst

Angor doesn’t like being touched that much. That being said, he’s extremely touch-starved.

He especially doesn’t like his face being touched, because Morgana always did that and we all know how that went. He also hasn’t had any casual and/or loving physical contact in centuries, so his body immediately perceives such contact as a threat based on instinct.

But if you’re his lover and he’s assured and comfortable with you enough, he’ll give affection a little more physically. Just a little.

He’ll hold your hand, play with your hair occasionally, etc. If he’s really tired he’ll hold you close, almost as if he’s keeping you safe from everything around the two of you.

The way he sees it, you are the one good thing he’s had in a long time. He’s not going to lose that so easily.

figure: has my muse met any notable, historical figures? did they get along with them? why or why not?

landmark:  was my muse around while an important landmark was being built? what do they remember about that time?

society: has my muse noticed any changes within the society they live in? do they think these are for the better or worse? 

lost:  are their any items my muse owns that, if broken / stolen, could never be replaced, because they’re no longer being made? 

event: was my muse involved involved in any important, historical event? do they remember it? is there anything they wish they’d done differently?

love: is there anyone my muse has fallen in love with over the years? are they still alive? if not, does my muse do anything to commemorate them (ie. leaving flowers on their grave, etc.)?

One of the first things we learn about Douxie, way back when in Trollhunters, was that he’s a punk rocker, of which a key characteristic is the rejection of conformity and embracing individuality. How ironic is it then, that one of Douxie’s major arcs in Wizards is learning to make his own choices without trying to please someone else. 

A lot of his strongest moments stem from him making his own decisions and not following Merlin’s expectations (using magic on Arthur to get him and Morgana to make up, freeing Nimue, etc). We see Douxie be an awesome Master Wizard in the secret Killahead battle, fighting Morgana with the power of rock, and choosing to save individuals over the greater good. 

I think it’s pretty poetic that Douxie comes full circle learning to embrace the characteristics of punk rock that was used for his introduction.

Kind of shocked that some people only read books they relate to bc to me books are first and foremost about putting yourself in other people’s shoes even if you have nothing in common with them

getting back to drawing Trollhunters characters again. This time I drew Gunmar.

Took me awhile to get used to drawing him.

Y' know one thing about TH main villiains is how they share something in common with Jim one way or another

Bular: Daddy Issues (except that Jim was able to move from them)

Angor: heroes turned into monsters (except that Jim used his new powers to save the world while Angor was falling more and more into darkness and madness)

Gunmar - Special swords and being the "hope" of Trollkind (except that Jim was actually hope for everyone while Gunmar was pure dissolation)

He doesn't share similarities with the next villains (not counting Green Knight/Arthur Pendragon cause he wasn't a main villain)
