Since I've finally decided to dive into the world of Flat Racing, I figured I should do it right and make sure I have some quality horses.

Thus, began the search for a stud! When Nova Kneib/Emily Root on EquialitySims offered up the amazing WiseDan as a stud for me to use. I was over the moon with this opportunity and immediately jumped at it! I already had my mare of choice in mind as the dam. I have a beautiful OTTB mare named Caliburn with amazing conformation, and I've always wanted a foal from her but she's in the prime of her competition years.

Not wanting to interrupt her current Show Jumping & Eventing career I decided to go the route of using a surrogate mare. Which is where one of our sweet Hanoverian mares, MHE Peace Element, came into play. She is young and a maiden mare but the vet completely cleared her and saw no major risks ahead.

Fast forward many vet bills and all the headaches ahead, we come to yesterday when my sweet new baby came into the world...

When I laid eyes on this filly for the first time I started to cry, granted I was half a bottle of merlot in because it was my friends birthday... She was everything I was dreaming of and more. She was already trying to stand and was standing probably the fastest I've ever seen.

Such a strong little leggy thing, and she's all mine. I cannot wait to watch her grow and I cannot wait to see this girl killing it on the track.

ok so I may be slightly obsessed with this dude

MHE Antares had an amazing time during his first schooling session over jumps here at Moss Hollow today! He was lightly started on jumping when I brought him in so he's still got a long ways to go and learn! "Bubba" does pick things up really fast though and we couldn't be more proud of him! He has lots of jump and cleared these tiny jumps with ease, and a lot of excitement. We know Bubba is meant to jump and can tell he just loves the thrill of it! Cannot wait to see him over big jumps one day soon enough! We may have to free jump him and see what he can do!

Who doesn't love riding in the early evening when the lighting is amazing? How the setting sun feels just right when it touches your skin?

Our newest addition, MHE Antares, out for an early evening schooling ride the other day. I got "Bubba" with him in mind as a sales project, he's a young stallion with incredible potential. At only 4 years old he seems wise years beyond that. Each time I watch Bubba work I'm tempted more and more to keep him for our show roster! I see an incredibly bright future for him whether it be here with us or at an incredible show home in the future!

MHE Vanity Fair Pictured being the wild little filly she is! "Princess" is very much, well, a princess. She must be spoiled at all times in her little mind! Princess is definitely on her way to be a show stopping mare one day, I think she already knows that though. It's certainly going to be hard to let go of her once the foals are all ready to be posted for sale!

MHE Memento Mori “Morris” is such a sweet little dude, he really is a light here at Moss Hollow Estate! Everyone that meets him just adores him and all his antics. Since becoming titled with the Warmblood Society at only 1 year old, he’s been spoiled rotten! Not like he wasn’t spoiled rotten before though haha. I cannot wait to for him to be fully matured! I think Morris is going to be an insane force in the show ring. He definitely has a bright future ahead of him!

Big day for us here at Moss Hollow Estate! MHE Memento Mori has received his first title at just the age of 1! Sitting at 27 points he is now a Crown Champion with the Warmblood Society!
