SARI COLLINS // 

her early childhood was normal enough, a dad that was enlisted, a mom that seemed to be there whenever she needed her, and then her dad died. he was gone, a poof, and the concept didn’t make much sense to a seven year old, but she knew mom cried a lot, that there was boxes in the house and that she was going to have to leave behind the canopy bed that her dad had always tucked her into when he’d been around. 

the concept of death wasn’t real, and when they moved to lawerence she was still reeling from the change – she hated her room, particularly because the monsters in the closet were scary, a being made entirely of flames that would open the door and STARE at her as she tried to sleep. and then the bad things tried to hurt ritchie, and her mom was scared and crying. sari can clearly remember hiding in a corner crying and asking for her dad, for someone to come and help them, and then someone DID. 

the winchesters came, and they were almost as scary as the bad thing in the closet, but not really, just kind of. but they saved her, and her mom and her brother, and she remembers dean and sams smiles, and the head pats. 

that was the beginning of her hero worship for the winchester boys, she thought that if she ever needed them they would come back if she asked hard enough. as she got older she held onto that belief, at nine when something bad came back into the house miss missiouri handled it and sari didn’t use her wish for her heroes to come back. she wanted to make sure she didn’t waste it. 

now at eighteen the wish is nothing but a distant memory, there but not really a real concept anymore. she had grown older, and more wise to what exactly there is out there in the world. perhaps it was her touch with the supernatural while she was so young but it seems drawn to her, like a magnet almost. she is always getting into trouble somehow. missouri would say it was because she went looking for it, and truth be told she did. she remembers sam and dean, and now she knows what they did. she wants to be someone’s hero one day, and in her heart of hearts she wants to find them and thank them for saving her. 

sari is smart and driven, and while she does dabble in hunting it’s mostly ghost hauntings, and nothing like what she went through as a child, but she’s enrolled full time in school for psychology. interested in the workings of the brain, and if there is something that makes people more prone to believe, she also thinks it helps her understand ghosts more, or rather the people around them. her interest started when she started attending therapy for the loss of her father and the large amount of problems that reared their head when it came to dating. 

truthfully though she would drop it all if she ever got the chance to go on a real hunt, and more and more that thought is tempting her. so far the only thing that is holding her back is her mom and ritchie.
