Lilo and Stitch
I think this might be the most boring Disney film they've ever made.
This is the animated film.
I'm glad people got paychecks but I had to have this playing in the background for entire shifts practically at my old job at a Suncoast when this came to DVD/Video and it was just misery. It was the mangers favorite Disney film and they just kept playing it. For like weeks.
There's this little girl in Hawaii and then an alien lands and through the power of really, really dull scenes and Elvis music she makes it not evil anymore. Or less violent? Hy-jinks? Heartstrings tugged somehow? You've got aliens, Hawaii, one of the Kids in the Hall, Elvis music and this is what you make?
Yuck. The amount of interesting animated projects over the years that didn't get funding or failed and somehow this one made it to theaters is baffling to me.
The animated series for it was even more boring somehow. Now it's being remade for another live action Disney film that they really need to stop doing.
I rate is a pass. Nothing it matters at this late junction. I just want to get my thoughts out.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor among Thieves
Well Ed Greenwood gave it a recommend but I still didn't enjoy it very much. I think I liked the old 2000's D&D movie better.
This action comedy podcast style of D&D that exists these days is not my cup of tea. So when you make a film based on that stuff I don't care for it.
It's every really cringe D&D game we all were in back in high school where we're trying to be cool and edgy and now we're rightfully ashamed of it and give kids a pass on their own cringe behavior.
It was a feel bad for me and I rate it a pass.

Rogue One
I just really need to put this out there so at least someplace on the internet shares my opinion.
Rogue One was not a very good movie. It was not the best star wars film, it was probably the worst of them honestly. It ruined a lot of interesting backstory about finding the death star plans and was more
The prequels were a lazy mess that were never going to be good with the minimum effort being put into making them. People put effort into Rogue One and they still made a movie I didn't like.
Not talking performances either, they were completely fine. It was a well made film which is why it being bad was more frustrating than the prequel films. Saw it three times in theaters and it got worse every time, and thankfully now our office doesn't go out to see films anymore so I won't have to endure that again.
It wasn't Prometheus bad where it's just miserable the whole time but like why anything in the film. Why is she in jail? Why does no one bring up her Mom? Why waste Forrest Whitaker? He was in Ghost Dog! Did the like pile of writers not share notes when they were doing their 20% of the film's story?
Was this all based on someone's pen and paper Star Wars role playing game session? It certainly feels like some weird adventuring party and then a GM just having Star Wars stuff show up. Suppose it's not as bad as that D&D movie.
So there, if you didn't like Rogue One there you go. One other person on the internet agrees with you that it wasn't something they enjoyed watching. I think wrestler Cody Rhodes doesn't rate it that highly either but you'd have to ask him to be sure, but maybe that's two people.
My rating is give it a pass.
