The devs leaving Gale’s tower unfinished is completely fine in my opinion. It’s not a place you’re supposed to be able to visit in game, and the only room that was important enough to be made was his study/library for his romance scene.

The tower being unfinished leaves us a lot of room for imagination. How many floors is it, how much is visible to the average person? Does it start of square, then become circular? Did he start with a townhouse and add onto it? Is it like Sorcerer’s Sundries, where you have to portal to the rest of it? So many possibilities!

I personally like the idea of the majority of the tower not being visible, that he started with a simple townhome that he has heavily modified and added onto. From the outside it looks like a two story townhouse, but on the inside? Full of wonder. He’s added at least three stories upwards and a two level basement. The townhome is definitely bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside (also look at how funky the walls are in the library/study, he has definitely expanded the space through magical means).
