I really wish I was still in undergrad, not worrying about getting into masters or finding my first job. I really want to go back to uni just because it's the most I've ever enjoyed myself in any environment. Anyway summer yay

16/06/25 || Monday

Trying water colour for the fifth time in the laat ten years lol. Did it work? Hell no. But my mom loved it so I'm counting it as a win. I'm done with most preparations for travelling abroad so now I'm learning German, keeping up with my hobbies, and hoping I don't forget Physics.

studying isn't always aesthetic, and that is totally ok.

not every study session is accompanied by a cool bright matcha and and a perfect messy bun. not all of your notes will be written in beautiful looped cursive and perfectly highlighted.

sometimes the only way you can study is in your pyjamas, sometimes the only place you are sitting down long enough is the bus, sometimes your notecards are tatty and ripped.

you don't always have to be perfectly aesthetic, let go of your performative notes, write notes that help you.

wear things that are comfy and easy to concentrate in.

be gentle with yourself, learn what works for you and stick to it.

the only tolerable thing about summer is that everything is lush green — thankfully my apartment is under the shade of a chestnut tree.
