Discoveries from today:

If you're sanding spackle with loose sheets of sandpaper, you can rip strips of sandpaper and wrap it around the knuckle of your index and middle finger for quick, effective, "put knuckle against wall and rub aggressively" sanding.

This will be your best idea of the day until you notice the friction works both ways and you're now maybe missing An amount of skin from the middle knuckle.

This sucks because it was genuinely so effective.

The thing that's been fascinating me about the guitar is the.... physicality of it.... There's nothing digital about it. Not like a keyboard or that cheap electric drumkit I had. These sounds are real, physical vibrations coming from the strings.... I'm manipulating physical space to produce them.... And it makes sense! There's a logic to it.... I spend so much of my life interacting with the digital space.... There's a simple joy in this.....
