I'm playing through the game again. He's a bastard and I love him.

Also, 100% facts expect ace art at an undetermined time in the future. Hold me to it too.

You can tell how much time someone has put into Ace Combat 7 based on their opinion of Mihaly and, to some extent, Sol Squadron. New players love him, but anyone who's played through his fights a few times is probably sick and tired of his fucking plot armor and magical acceleration and turning abilities.

For example, his dive, climb and sun move in Mission 18 are all stupidly fast, faster than anything you can do, and most of his turns -- especially in his Su-30SM, because it's excusable with the X-02S -- are way tighter than anything you can pull outside of PSM.

And we all know he can take a shitload of missiles for no reason. The worst part is that doesn't have to be the case; have him ALWAYS be in a crazy experimental aircraft, and give him some kind of protection system. We've had magical ECM since 1995 and the Arsenal Birds have those shield generators which could possibly be downsized to fit onto an aircraft (although it's Osean tech, not Erusean or Belkan as far as I know)

How am I supposed to write her with nothing!? I don't wanna just assume things, and I can't just ask her if she prefers personal time or gifts! ìví

The devil on your shoulder.

Ornstein was once a young and promising hunter, full of potential, and fervor. monster after monster fell at his blade till only one challenge yet stood before him. if only we knew a Fatalis never dies.

Ornstein had begun to be consumed by the fatalis, as his armor grew around him like creeping roots engulfing all they touched, and yet through great effort, the hunters put the human dragon monstrosity down. Though in the chaos it was revealed that Ornstien still remained in the armor, and was swiftly cut free physically unscathed all but for his left eye which had taken on the crystal material of Fatalis's own eyes. he keeps it covered so as not to see the beast that still lurks in his mind.

Slight spoilers for folks that follow my YouTube but I've configured a bunch of freecam stuff and have been messing around with it for the last day or so, and have made some really neat discoveries:

The entirety of the Eastlands is actually modeled in place, with all the locales relative to each other in full scale. Just not in full detail, as that would be insane.

This actually makes a lot of sense as there's only one locale that actually requires a teleport transition to get in and out of (the Iceshard Cliffs), the rest are all completely walkable.

Here we have the first 3 locales of the game all within actual distance of each other!

An overhead view of the Oilwell Basin; you kinda forget just how subterranean the region is.

I really can't blame the people of Azuz for calling them cliffs. The bailey wall of Wyveria is no joke of a superstructure. It's not surprising that there's simply a teleport to mount the wall instead of having the player do so physically all the way from the Oilwell.

The playable area known as the Iceshard Cliffs is at the very top of the Bailey, far away from most of the other locales. (Hirabami for scale).

In addition to the mystery rifts radiating out from Wyveria, there are also a concerning amount of craters surrounding the bailey.
