Astrology: The Natal Cross
The four primary points in an astrology/natal/birth chart are the Ascendant or Rising (ASC), Descendant (DSC) Midheaven, Medium Coeli or Middle Sky (MC) and Anti-Midheaven or Imum Coeli, also known as ‘bottom of the sky’ (IC).
Ascendant rises on the east horizon, Descendant sets on the western horizon, Midheaven is evident at noon, therefore is known as the 'Middle Sky’ or 'Middle of the Sky. Imum Coeli is evident at Midnight, therefore is known as the 'Bottom Sky’ or the 'Bottom of the Sky’.
These four Astrology signs together make a cross which creates four quadrants in your natal chart.
The Four Quadrants
Tumblr media
Planets in Quadrant #1 (Houses 1, 2 & 3)
AWARENESS OF SELF
Many planets in Quadrant #1 indicate that in this lifetime, your primary attention is focused on yourself – on developing a heightened awareness of your personal identity and inherent values, learning to be more at ease in communicating your ideas to others.
You probably need more time alone than other folks in order to stay in touch with your own identity and experience yourself personally – recognizing your own impulses and learning to discriminate when and how to appropriately assert yourself. Staying grounded is important, as things do not turn out well when you “leave yourself” in order to impress others.
When someone has an opinion different from yours, you are learning to “check it out” inside yourself and take the time to think things through, rather than making an impulsive retort based on wanting to impress. You are learning the value of staying centered inside yourself while relating with others.
This is a lifetime designed for learning more about your personality, how you feel inside yourself, and where you really stand. You are learning to get in touch with what makes you feel comfortable, what you inherently value, and what gives you a true sense of self-worth.
It’s also a learning/teaching lifetime, and through interacting with a variety of people you will grow and discover more about yourself.
Planets in Quadrant #2 (Houses 4, 5 & 6)
INTEGRATING WITH YOUR IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT
A majority of planets in Quadrant #2 indicates that, in this lifetime, you are learning to effectively integrate your identity into your relationships with others. You are consciously developing a new personal foundation that can support you in doing so.
To this end, it is helpful to involve yourself in studies that assist you in shifting your frame of reference from unconscious negative childhood conditioning to a more mature, positive, stable ?home base.?
This is a lifetime where a focus on personal pleasure is encouraged and, as you learn to express your creative will in ways that lead to experiences of vitality and joy, everyone is blessed.
Increased awareness regarding the importance of a greater level of health and well being in all areas of your life will require developing new routines of diet and exercise. You are also learning to analyze your experiences so that you grow and make choices that reflect a more efficient use of time.
In this lifetime the primary focus is on your personal life; learning through the relationships in your immediate environment – your family, children and co-workers – how to interact with others in ways that produce more effective and happier results as the years go by.
Planets in Quadrant #3 (Houses 7, 8 & 9)
AWARENESS OF OTHERS
A majority of planets in this Quadrant indicate that, in this lifetime, you are learning to become more objectively aware of others… their identity, as apart from your own.
You yearn to “be part of” someone else and to do things in shared partnership. For success in this area you must begin to tune in to others and be willing to allow their values and ideas to help you grow. As you open to their energy and allow it to change you, your transformed energy will produce an opening in them.
This process creates a “middle ground” that will actually be more satisfying for you than if you had gotten what you wanted without having gone through this transformation. You are destined for partnership this lifetime, so there will never be a lack of candidates.
Close one-to-one interactions teach you how to refine your manner in a way that is more acceptable to others. Therefore, it is to your advantage to embrace others feedback, change your presentation and successfully link.
If your commitment to the partnership is strong enough, you will be open to learning from him/her, which will allow you to develop and refine the expression of your own identity.
As you grow, your horizons will expand and you will actually gain more than you may have imagined going into the union. You are learning the importance of finding out about – and honoring other?s values, what motivates them, their philosophies and different ways of viewing life.
Planets in Quadrant #4 (Houses 10, 11 & 12)
INTEGRATING WITH SOCIETY
Many planets in the fourth Quadrant show that, in this lifetime, you are primarily focused on learning how to integrate yourself with society on an impersonal level, taking responsibility for working with others for the public good.
You are learning to develop a true sense of friendship, to awaken to humanitarian interests, and to love others unconditionally – thereby becoming a healing influence in the world.
You are likely to be goal-oriented and be able to see the “bigger picture” that others are unaware of, which allows you to more easily attain that which is important to you. There is a longing for something higher than the strictly personal life, and a desire to lose yourself in causes that have a wider impact than your own personal comfort and pleasure.
In personal relationships, success depends on your continuing to allot time to pursuing other friendships and public activities. You “march to a different drummer” than most others, and are willing to follow your own path without being daunted by societies opinions.
You are motivated by your own private vision of the impact you can have on the world, and are learning how to successfully translate that vision in a way that society will accept.
Much love to all… go in peace my friends

Juno in Astrology
Juno is an asteroid discovered on September the 1st in 1804, and is situated between Mars and Jupiter, and in astrology, she is slowly finding her place as playing an important role in marriage and long term relationships (10 + years) - Juno is currently being debated in the astrology community as to being the assigned ruler for Libra, while Venus acts as co-ruler.
Venus is what we desire, what we find attractive and how we wish to receive affection and appreciation, while Juno represents long term committed relationships, loyalty and faithfulness in a partnership. It shows what one needs to feel satisfied in love or romance, or what one feels they need to have a successful, satisfying, long-term partnership.
Through the analysis of a collection of synastry charts between couples, a high percentage we’re married (or in a long-term committed relationship with) with someone who fulfilled the needs of their natal Juno placement., usually by having the Sun or Moon in the Juno sign (and/or other placements).
Your Juno sign, house placement and aspects can give an additional layer of information about what you need, desire and are likely to manifest in marriage/long-term relationship.
All descriptions below can be applied both to your potential marriage partner AND yourself and the way you act in a long-term commitment.
(Can read sign for house placement - eg : 4th house Juno, read cancer as well as natal sign).
…
Juno in Aries:
You may desire a very strong, masculine and direct marriage partner. A partner who can act as a leader, pave their own path and has a strong sense of who they are. You may desire a marriage partner who will fight for you if necessary (and vice versa), and also someone who is independent and can carry out their own goals without relying too much on you to assist them. You may want to be put first in the relationship, though it can sometimes manifest as your partner putting themselves and their concerns before you instead, which is where the need for ones own independence in the relationship can arise. You and/or the marriage partner certainly do not like being told what to do in the relationship. The marriage partner may also have a sense of impatience about them, wanting to get to step 3 before completing 1 and 2, though they most likely wont adhere to advice. If problems do arise in the relationship, they will be upfront and deal with it before quickly moving on.
The marriage partner may prove to be bold and direct, and perhaps may be somewhat harsh and brash at times, and there is a possibility for an aggressive relationship or a marriage where dispute is common, depending on the house placement and aspects Juno receives, especially any harsh aspects from Mars, Saturn or Pluto. Also be aware of the possibility of the marriage partner dominating the relationship (or yourself) and can be quite temperamental, though sudden outbursts can subside quite quickly.
You may in fact not wish to get married, as your desire for independence can make the concept of marriage uncomfortable for you.On the other hand, you may marry simply out of impulsion. This placement can also manifest the possibility of remaining single throughout life.
Your most successful relationship will have a great sense of independence and individuality, whereby both you and your partner are able to do as they please without relying too heavily on the opinion or direction of the other.
Juno in Taurus
You may desire a marriage partner with a stable and consistent income, whereby they are able to financially support you in marriage. They may be incredibly hard workers and be very involved in their own projects. You may desire a relaxed and down to earth partner, who you can spend time with in the comforts of your own home. You may desire a marriage partner with a natural sense of beauty or is naturally attractive. Your marriage partner may be quite sensual and hedonistic, enjoying touching and caressing, and lots of exchange of physical pleasure between the both of you. You especially want peace and tranquility in the relationship, whereby neither of you want to intentionally stir each other. You both may enjoy indulging in good food and other material comforts together, happily lazing around doing very little in each others company. You may also both enjoy spending time in nature or natural settings, and you could potentially both decide to move to a country area together away from the hustle of larger communities (many other chart factors need to be evident for this).
Most of all, you desire a stable and secure marriage that has been built upon reliable foundations. Once you marry, you want to keep it that way. You may strongly disagree with divorce, and if that ever became a possibility, you (or your partner) would do everything in their personal power to avoid that situation. You want the comfort in security and stability of marriage.
If afflicted, there is possibility of the partner being over materialistic, caring too much about your income and what you buy, and therefore being rather restrictive and cheap when it comes to buying things. You may also choose to marry someone simply for the sake of financial security, especially if you’re struggling materially on your own. The marriage partner may be quite stubborn and set in their ways, to the point where their mannerisms and routines becomes highly predictable
Ultimately you desire a grounded and reliable marriage partnership where the security of knowing your partner will stay with you, and also having the security of material resources between you and your partner.
Juno in Gemini
With this placement you may desire an intellectual marriage partner who has fantastic communication skills, often engaging in daily conversation whether through phone calls, emails, texts and speaking face to face together. You may marry someone who keeps in constant contact with you, often telling you where they are and what they are doing if always from you (often in the local town or at work). Your marriage partner may be quite witty, humorous and have a youthful expression and personality, or may in fact be younger than you. The may love to socialise and get amongst the local community setting, which may mean they often travel back and forth from home quite frequently. You may have met the marriage partner through an online dating service or another social media platform. They may have also been a neighbour or simply someone from your local town where you grew up.
With Juno in Gemini, there’s also possibilities of having one more marriage in your life.
If afflicted, you or the marriage partner may have cheated within the relationship which ultimately causes a separation and a re-marriage to someone else. They may also be unpredictable and unreliable when it comes to promises and deadlines you give them. They may say they’ll do something, though it ends up falling through. Gemini has no particular intent on keeping to a certain path, so there still is a possibility with this placement not to be married at all. The marriage partner may often have unpredictable mood swings, based on their rationality of things, therefore needing clear communication of things in order for them to avoid episodes of anxiety.
Ultimately what you desire in a long-term relationship is variety, communication, someone who is intellectual and social, and can keep the relationship fresh and interesting.
Juno in Cancer
You may desire marriage to establish strong family foundations. You may want a marriage partner who is gentle, sensitive and caring, and can easily get on well with members of your family and particularly your mother (or mother figure). You desire a marriage partner who can commit and provide a sense of emotional security, who also tends to stay at home and/or takes care of the home. They may also enjoy cooking for you, and you for them. Your marriage partner may be emotionally intuitive and sensitive, and enjoys staying close to your side, offering physical affection whenever possible. They may be quite protective of you, and will defend you in times of need. You may marry due to your family traditions, and/or wish to continue the family tradition (yours or theirs) after marriage, continuing activities you or your partner experienced during their childhood. The marriage partner may also wish to start a family, and you or the partner may strongly wish to become a parent after marriage.
If afflicted, you or the marriage partner may be quite moody and/or clingy, making it hard for independence in the marriage. They may be emotional vulnerable, and desire you to ‘mother’ them in the relationship, rather than act like a traditional marriage partner. They can also be quite clingy and smothering, never really allowing you your own independent need for space. Their sentimentality about things past in the relationship may be brought up, and they may become quite emotional and cranky if you were to forget an anniversary.
Ultimately what you desire in a marriage partner is loyalty, openness and sympathy, emotional connection, care, security and perhaps to start your own family and to continue family traditions.
Juno in Leo
You may desire a bold, expressive and charismatic partner. You want the marriage partner to make you feel special in the relationship, and be quite romantic and affectionate, never forgetting to remind you how much they love you, spoiling you with surprises and courteous gestures and tokens of appreciation. They may have a very strong and dignified personality, and you can find charismatic leadership ability quite attractive. Your marriage partner may be quite playful and humorous, extruding a sunny disposition and approaching the marriage with a copious amount of energy and enthusiasm. You want to be able to take pride in your partner, not being afraid to show them off and express how closely bonded you are to them. You want to be able to share a spotlight with your partner where you feel like you are the only two in the world. You desire to experience warmth and generosity in the marriage throughout your time spent together.
If Juno is afflicted, or especially if aspected by Jupiter with this placement, you may experience the marriage partner to be overwhelming, and trying to outshine you in the marriage as the one who tends to ‘call the shots’ as to  where you’re going, what you two will do together and when. This sense of bossiness can be quite unsettling, and their sense of pride may get in the way of them expressing affection to you in public or in front of friends and/or family. At times, they may over-dramatically react to situations in the relationship, causing unnecessary drama for the sake of causing drama. They may also become quite jealous and defensive over you.
What you desire in a long term committed relationship is ultimately consistent love, affection and appreciation, even if that means them simply saying “I love you” every now and again, fun and playfulness, generosity, excitement, and above all, loyalty.
Juno in Virgo
With this placement, you may desire a long-term relationship with someone who is practical, observant, orderly and has strong work ethic. You may wish to be committed to someone who has a selfless and giving nature, who enjoys helping you with daily tasks and taking care of the home life. You may attract a rather modest partner, who doesn’t indulge too much in extravagant romantic gestures, but expresses their love and affection through being of help to you in anyway you ask or need. They may take great time and care in getting to know you down to the finest detail so that they can apply themselves to doing things the exact way you like it to make you happy (example, taking note exactly what your favourite hot beverage is and making it exactly how you like it). They may clean and take the initiative to help you order and structure your daily routine and if required, help you with work. The partner may also be a diligent worker themselves, applying themselves to their own job and providing the partnership with a stable and steady income for the both of you. They may also be quite concerned for your health and wellbeing, happily taking care of you best they can on your sick days.
If afflicted, the partner may be overly critical and and faulty finding in the things you do and the way you do them. They may have the compulsion to brush you to the side when they feel ‘You’re not doing it right’ when you simply just aren’t doing something THIER way, which can ultimately make you frustrated. They may complain about the most mundane incidences which may get on your nerves. They may also be a workaholic, often not giving you enough attention and appreciation.
Ultimately what you desire in a marriage or long-term partnership is dependability and punctuality whereby they follow through when they say they will do something and when, cleanliness and practicality, has a stable day-to-day job to earn money for the both of you.
Juno in Libra
With this placement, you may desire a traditional marriage and long-term partnership whereby you and your partner are as equally committed to one another in the relationship. You desire a stable, balanced and fair marriage partner, one that can see and understand your point of view, and even if they disagree, they can find a compromise and see a value in your opinion on things. You desire someone who is fair and respectful of you and the things you do and happily returns the favour to you. You desire a long-term partner who is open about communicating and aims to settle any dispute before they get out of hand. You want someone who is a traditional romantic, and never forgets to express their love and affection for you. The marriage partner may be quite attractive and have a wonderful sense of style, and may be somewhat artistic, or at least has an appreciation of beauty and the arts. They may be quite charming and charismatic and perhaps rather social, and have a strong sense of justice and may have an interest in government or law.
If Juno is afflicted, the marriage partner may fabricate truth in order to cover something that they’ve done or not being truthful in their opinion. They may be quite indecisive about things which can make the relationship frustrating if decisions are always left for you and also, it may make them lazy when it comes to choosing and pursing something in life. They may also be manipulative towards you if they don’t like someone, telling you things about them to make you alternate your perspective so you can dislike them as a couple - while what they had said may not have been true, they want your reassurance that they are still the ‘good guy’, and as a marriage partner they demand that support from you. They may also be indecisive about getting married or the relationship itself
Ultimately what you desire in a long-term committed partnership is fairness, balance, harmony, communication and understanding one another perspective, love and diplomacy, compromise and beauty in the relationship.
Juno in Scorpio
With this placement, you desire an intense and deep connection to your marriage partner, where you unite all aspects of your body, mind and soul. You want passion and security in the sense of deep intimacy in your relationship, knowing your partner is truly connected to you and will stay by your side giving you their full devotion. You may find yourself transformed as a person after marriage, perhaps in the house area your Juno is placed. The partner may be deeply sexual and passionate, and together you share highly intense intimate moments, going through emotional highs and lows, though in the end it can feel rejuvenating leaving you feeling the high of being alive, which may be quite healing for you. You want to be able to trust your partner with all of your deepest secrets, and except all of your flaws and your past hardships, whereby being with them can allow healing of yourself and your past and anything you may face in the future.
If afflicted, Juno in Scorpio can manifest a very possessive partner who may try and control what you’re doing, where you’re going, and who you socialise with. They may easily become jealous and you need to constantly reassure them of your commitment to them, even if you feel its unnecessary. They may be quite secretive and mysterious which may make it frustrating for you to know what they want and to understand them better. They can also be quite self-destructive which can make the relationship exceedingly difficult. At times, their nature can become highly overbearing but once they break down they tend to build themselves back up again, especially with your assistance and presence.
Ultimately what you want in a marriage or long-term committed partnership is deep connection, passion, intense intimacy, sex, to share each others emotional highs and lows, unwavering commitment, and the power to get through any challenged you face together.
Juno in Sagittarius
With this placement, there is a very high need for freedom in a long-term partnership, and this placement be the most likely to avoid marriage simple because you (or the potential partner) doesn’t want to feel caged in a legally documented commitment. If you do choose to get married you need an extensive amount of freedom to come and go as you please, and to do what you want and when. The marriage partner on the other hand may be quite open natured, optimistic and humorous. They may have a philosophical and expansive outlook on life, and can unconsciously take on a spiritual direction in life because of their open-mindedness. They may have a passion for travel and exploring foreign countries and experiencing different cultures. You may in fact meet the marriage partner overseas, or they are originally from a foreign country.
They may be quite jovial and fun, always encouraging you to go on an adventure somewhere new with them.
If afflicted, the marriage partner may care about their personal freedom so much that they are unwilling to commit. They don’t want to be tied down and therefore have a back and forth nature in terms of the relationship by where you get too close, and they pull away. They may stumble into a marriage without much forethought of what that actually entails, then once the realisation sets in, they may opt for a divorce (but may even still want a relationship - just without a title), which may make this quite frustrating for you. The partner may be exceedingly hard to pin down and they may be quite reluctant to open up emotionally.
Ultimately what you desire in a long-term commitment relationship is FREEDOM, fun and light heartedness, changeability to keep it interesting and a constant learning experience, open-mindedness, traveling together and playfulness.
Juno in Capricorn
You desire the security and reliability found in marriage, and you want the relationship to be built on a strong foundation of knowing the partner very well before you are willing to commit. Once you have married, you do not want to separate from the partner and will do whatever is in your personal power to bring structure back to the relationship. You may attract a very hardworking and dutiful partner, who may be heavily involved in their own work life and career. They may express a very authorise stance in the relationship, and be quite serious in their personality nature. They may expect you and themselves to take traditional roles in marriage, or that they insist on being the ‘leader’ in the relationship. They may be significantly older than you and be quite conventional in the way they do things and structure the marriage life. They may be quite dutiful and take on the most difficult tasks, and also the responsibility of maintain the relationship, especially when it comes to providing the both of you with income. They may not be the most demonstrative and overly affectionate partner, but they express their love and devotion through their actions and providing for you.
If afflicted, the marriage partner may be quite cold and pessimistic, and they seem to force the authoritative role in a relationship and set you a role which they expect you to fill. Their lack of affection and romantic gestures can be quite disheartening for you, and their lack of gratification if you give to them may also make you feel unappreciated. They can also be overly controlling, dictating where you go and when, which you can greatly detest in the relationship. Also, their devotion to their job and work can leave you feeling lonely at times.
Ultimately what you desire in a marriage is comfort in traditional and conventional commitment, practicality and dutifulness, a hard worker, someone to prove for you, someone who can take leadership and is self-disciplined.
Juno in Aquarius
With this placement, you may desire a marriage partner who is a humanitarian that has a large social circle, whereby they know many people from many different places and therefore you can go with them to interact with a variety of people and gain new experiences. You may want a partner who is quite friendly and idealistic, one who is innovative and progressive in the way they do things, either for themselves or for the benefit of a larger extent of people. You may greatly desire a highly intellectual partner, who’s emotional detachment from things and people allows them to see things from an objective perspective. They may greatly enjoy socialising with anyone at any given time, and you may find yourself doing the same with them, even if it wasn’t something you would intentionally do previous to meeting and forming a relationship (or marriage) with this person. They may also express a sense of duty and authority, but more in an intellectual leadership manner than by commanding a following. There may be something eccentric or unconventional about the marriage partner, and this can include their personal interests, their likes and/or dislikes, or simply a significant age difference which is seen as unusual in society.
If afflicted, the partner may be quite emotionally withdrawn and detached. Although you may know they hold affections for you, they may have trouble expressing it due to their highly intellectual nature and they may uphold their masculine qualities too much to the point where its difficult to become emotionally vulnerable to you. If you attempt to openly express your emotions towards them, they may distance themselves from you.
There can also be a fear of commitment, from you or your partner with this placement, often withholding marriage, if you ever do decide to get married. It’s not uncommon with this placement for the native to stay single for life because of their choosing. You (or they) may value ones personal freedom and need for experimentation above the need for a solid relationship, which can mean manifesting as an open relationship.
Ultimately what you desire in a long-term committed relationship is to have your own sense of personal freedom and space, socialisation with others together, having new experiences, genuine friendship with the marriage partner, understanding and tolerance of ones own eccentricities.
Juno in Pisces
With this placement, you desire a very sensitive, gentle and romantic marriage partner. You want to be able to get lost in them and their presence and experience unconditional love and care from them. You desire someone who is modest, compassionate and empathetic to you and your needs, as well as being selfless, compassionate and giving to other people. You also may have to take care of the practical side of things for the marriage partner (or vice-versa). The marriage partner may be quite emotionally open and vulnerable, and is eager to care for you in anyway they can. They may at times try to mould themselves to be whatever you want them be. They may also have a soft spot for animals and enjoys caring for all forms of life.  The marriage partner may also have a strong interest in the arts, including painting, acting, film making and/or photography. They may also be interested in caring for other people, giving themselves freely in a sympathetic form of service such as nursing or caring for the elderly, and generally helping those who are underprivileged and less fortunate. There is also the possibility for the marriage partner to be highly intuitive and/or psychic (empath). You may also idealise the potential partner, conjuring a fantasy of getting married to a creation from your imagination. This fantasy may also be projected onto the real life marriage partner, whereby you ignore there flaws and only see them as your idea of perfection.
If afflicted, the marriage partner may be too overly self-sacrificing to the point of their own detriment. They may either over work or over give themselves for little in return, then they end up playing the victim and express that ‘no one cares about me’ even though they put themselves into that position in the first place - then you end up coming to their rescue, having to coddle them because they refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. They may also be too much of a dreamer and live in their dreams and ideals, and not attempt to put them into action. They may at times become confused or have extremely high or low emotional episodes where you have to make sure you measure them that all will turn out fine in the end. There is also a possibility of drug and alcohol abuse from the partner.
Ultimately what you desire in a  long-term committed relationship is unconditional love and affection, empathy and sympathy, gentleness and modesty, an openly giving personality , and loves you completely for who you are.

Easy-to-Understand houses in planets
House I - talks about your ego and how you project your image to the world. People say this is your social mask but what we present to the world is strongly related with our perceptions of the world and personal values, so don’t take this as fakeness. This is more you than you expect. Is related with the boldness of Aries.
House II - talks about your wealth and resources, surviving and the material world. Also about heritage, or lack of it, and how you will deal with money. Is related with the abundance of Taurus.
House III - talks about communication. How we make boundaries and our relationships - in terms of socializing with people, friends, family. To relate with others we must communicate so this is also about studies and education, basic learning and learning through others. Is related with the discourse of Gemini.
House IV - talks about family. How you deal with emotional stress at home, your relationships with relatives, memories of the past and family traumas. Also talks how you deal with the mother figure of your life. Is related with the caring nature of Cancer.
House V - talks about creation. It can be future projects, work, children, what makes you be who you are through what you do in life, what you build. This is working with passion and impulse of wanting to express and to be seen. Is related with the performer nature of Leo.
House VI - talks about work, professional image and career. It can be your work environment or your dream work, or how you deal with responsibilities and pressure of criticism. While house V is about creating with the heart, house VI is creating with the mind, doing the cruel work of availing and judging with perfectionism. Is related with the sharpness of Virgo.
House VII - talks about love and romantic partnership. What you’re looking for in a romance, what makes you feel attracted, what makes your mind blow and your feelings boil, and how you deal with these passionate emotions. Love usually brings balance to our life, so is also about personal equilibrium. Is related with the seductiveness of Libra.
House VIII - talks about life changes. It is a fatal house of development in life: can be through falling in love, experiencing sex, facing death, going through sickness, getting out of the teenage years and into the adult world, learning through traumas and hardships. Dealing with sudden changes and overcoming them to get the reward. Is related with the intense nature of Scorpio.
House IX - talks about wisdom, moral and ethics, and also your beliefs. It can be about your faith, which religious path you will follow, how you will deal with it. While house III is about knowledge and communicating, IX is about knowledge and reflecting. To learn one must be open to new ideas, so this can also be about traveling to meet new cultures, or going through studies like college and post graduations. Maybe all. Is related with the expansive nature of Sagittarius.
House X - talks about social position. This is about nobility, family pride and social power. Not necessarily about finances, like the house II, or work, like the house VI, but about being in charge of a leadership, or a very important role. Also about your relationship with your father figure, leaders and bosses, and how you deal with authorities and hierarchy. Since all these things are related with “successful” roles, this house also shows how you deal with difficulties and failures in your life. Is related with the ambitious nature of Capricorn.
House XI - talks about your place in society. Unlike house X that looks after power, this house is about what you do of remarkable in your society, in your groups, to make it better - or if you run from it if everything feels overwhelmingly wrong. Is about social development, and how you deal with and solve social problems, and everything that “upgrades” our present and build a better place. Is related with the inventive nature of Aquarius.
House XII - talks about your dreams and unconscious. This is how you imagine things to survive the cruelty of the world. Like the house XI this is a place for upgrades, but while the XI is about the collective, the XII is about the individual. They say what you think becomes real, and in this case is how you deal with your inner hopes and fears, expectations and rancors, and how they influence your life. Also talks about remarkable moments of joy and traumas that unconsciously shapes you, and if you use this to inspire or destroy yourself and others. Also your relation with places where you deal with your shadow self for recovery, karma payment, or escapism: prisons, therapy houses and rehab centers, or online games. If you believe in past life, this is about the karmas you’re paying from them. Is related with the romanticism of Pisces.

Venus & Mars signs
When Venus or Mars is in Aries, sex is best when it’s spontaneous and unrestricted. These people melt when their partner gives themselves to them innocently and purely. Some of them look for trouble in love, and are addicted to the conquest. Their heads are erogenous zones —they love it when you mess up their hair and grab their face when they are making love. They can be rather selfish in bed, and quick. They can get impatient with too much foreplay, preferring to get right to the point. Sometimes aggressive, and generally fast, these lovers are sincere and enthusiastic in their sexual expression, but not always constant. Their desires are powerful indeed. While other signs may be most aroused by the romance of the moment,  both male and females with this position are especially aroused by their partner’s sexual organs, plain and simple. These people fall in and out of “crush” easily—they only feel alive when they have someone to desire.
When Venus or Mars is in Taurus, the sexual nature involves all of the senses. Touch and smell are supremely important to these lovers. These are the most physical of sexual partners. No frills sex is quite fine, as long as the mood is right and there is plenty of physical contact. These lovers don’t have a reputation for spontaneity or variety, but they are good at what they do nonetheless, simply because they are truly right there with you. Abstaining from sex is especially difficult for Taurus, so finding a regular sex partner is particularly important. Their sexual stamina during love-making is long-lasting and steady. Although generally patient, their style is natural and physical, and intellectualizing the sex act would only serve to baffle Taurus.
When Venus or Mars is in Gemini, use words in bed with them. Talk turns them on, and they love to kiss! Oral pleasures are extra special for these lovers. They love role-playing, as long as it is varied. They are generally fun in bed, if you can forgive their sudden bursts of speech during the act. To you, an intellectual conversation may interrupt lovemaking, but to them, it’s just extended foreplay. Sometimes given to trying too much in one session, these lovers are enthusiastic and curious about all kinds of sexual expression. Still, many people with this position are not wanton lovers. The Gemini tendency to over-think brings up all of the “buts” and “what ifs” surrounding sex. They are less driven by their desires than they are by their intellect.
When Venus or Mars is in Cancer, you’ll get one of the most sensitive and sweet lovers. When they’re not pouting, they are romantic and gooey with you. They are turned on by slave scenarios, and they may like it when you’re a little mean and aggressive in bed, as long as they know you love them. Some of them are turned on by the idea of making a baby, and others just love the idea of being all yours in bed. They are known as the sign most attracted to breasts, and they generally like their men rather masculine and their women feminine, at least in fantasy. They don’t always let you know what turns them on, and expect you to intuit their sexual needs. Their style in bed is protective and soothing; devoted and emotional. Romantic and sentimental touches add something special to the equation, especially for Venus in Cancer.
When Venus or Mars is in Leo, the fantasies often revolve around devotion and attention. These people are most turned on when their partner thinks they are gods or goddesses. Although they will take care of their partners in bed, their natural inclination is to get off themselves. Their pride in their lovemaking compels them to try to be the best in bed. While some want a mate they can show off, many prefer not to have two stars in the same household. They can be quite possessive and jealous, although they’ll often try to hide this fact. In fact, they may put their partners to the test every now and again, and the more insecure ones will demand the world from their partners, if only to have them prove their love. They are prone to fibbing when it comes to love and sex, as they are out to impress their mates. They are attracted to inequality in sexual scenarios. However, they won’t let you alwaysplay the knave—they are attracted to seeing you in the most regal of scenarios too. It is hard for these people to separate love and sex. Even their most erotic sexual fantasies are infused with love and affection. They can sometimes come on too strong, and get impatient when their needs are not met soon enough, but you may appreciate their direct sexual expression, and their openness in bed.
When Venus or Mars is in Virgo, there is generally a healthy attitude towards sex. Sex to them is a bodily function, necessary for health and general well-being. Everyday stresses and tensions are released in sex, whether it’s with others or with themselves. They are turned on by people who have largely gone unnoticed. Simple and sweet is the way they like their bed partners. They also get turned on by the idea that they are your slave. They love doing little things for you, and get worked up when they know you appreciate all the things they do. They can be a little insecure about their own bodies, and they make up for it by paying close attention to their methods of turning you on. They are very respectful of your likes and dislikes, and focus on the things that have had the most success. Virgo is the sign of the virgin, and this aspect gives others the idea that they are very selective. Don’t be entirely fooled by this, however. They are not as picky as they appear. In fact, they love imperfections and have the best time with a partner who needs care. They’ll make a project out of you, and you will likely never feel quite so attended to with anyone else. Their fantasies often feature the downtrodden and inexperienced. They are insatiably curious about sex, although many don’t take their curiosity much beyond fantasy. Voyeurism is especially appealing to these lovers. We are giving Virgo a little more attention than other signs simply because we feel this sign has been misunderstood on the topic of sex. They are generally not as picky and particular as their reputation says—and they are not as “virginal” either. In fact, they want to please and to be savvy in the lovemaking arena. They’ll generally “do” more than many other signs, and they’re not afraid of getting dirty either, within the confines of a healthy relationship.
When Venus or Mars is in Libra, extra care is taken to please the partner. These people can be provocative in a quiet way. Their need for balance and perfection in their relationships may manifest itself at all the wrong moments. In bed, these lovers want things to be balanced. They love working on getting things right, and are especially turned on by role-playing sex games. They have a strong need for change and growth in their sexual expression. They are givers in bed, but they fully expect you to give equally in return. Although they can be pushed around for a time, their lovers must be aware that the best way to keep Libra lovers happy is to keep everything fair. These lovers can be a little picky when it comes to mood and atmosphere while making love (Virgo is all too often assigned this trait, but our experience suggests that Libra is the pickiest of lovers). Make them happy, however, and you have a lover who is going to think about you and your needs. These lovers can charm the birds out of the trees when they want to.
When Venus or Mars is in Scorpio, the sexual nature can be quite complex. These lovers generally share a common intensity and depth in their sexual desires, but they vary in expression depending on their level of development. Some enjoy power and are attracted to breaking taboos. These lovers are willing to do almost anything, and they enjoy full-body pleasures. Others express their need for control by being unavailable and abstaining for long periods of time, giving in only when they feel their partner is deserving. Whatever their nature, they have a way that promises commitment and intensity in bed. They are provocative but private. Most will never kiss and tell. Sex is intimate and personal for Scorpio, but their fantasies are full-ranging.
When Venus or Mars is in Sagittarius, sex is treated rather like a sport. These lovers are direct and forthcoming with their desires and needs. They have an almost innocent frankness about them, and they love to have fun in bed. Laughing and roughhousing are huge turn-ons. They are actually a bit selfish in sex, and their need to “get off” will almost always be expressed. Games are acceptable for Sagittarius lovers, just as long as they are not too time-consuming or intricate. They have little patience with people playing hard to get or beating around the bush. The same goes for too much seriousness or romancing. The best way to approach sex with these people is to just do it, and then talk about it after the fact, if need be.
When Venus or Mars is in Capricorn, sex that is straightforward and simple is generally best. The reputation for Capricorn lovers is an attraction to experienced, and sometimes older, partners. They often prefer strong, powerful lovers who display some sort of authority or know-how. These lovers prefer a certain measure of discretion. Capricorn is an earth sign, and this earthiness shows up in love-making style—it’s generally no-frills that is most appealing to these lovers. They can be quite happy with consistency, as variety is less important to them than is security in sexual expression. However, their sexuality is deep and powerful. They are often quite private about what goes on in the bedroom. Although some will want others to know that they are on top of things in their sex life, they generally won’t get into messy details.
When Venus or Mars is in Aquarius, there is a “take it or leave it” style that can be sexy or maddening, depending on the audience. They don’t have a reputation for warmth in sex, although they may think the other way around because, at least in theory, they are open-minded. They give off an air of being savvy and cool in bed. Sex from a distance (when you are not actually there physically), or in theory, is often where they shine. That is why cyber or phone sex, or affairs that don’t break up marriages, can be especially attractive to these folks. They are most turned on when you are not, as detachment can be a real turn-on for them. And, again, the idea of sex is generally more exciting to these lovers than the actual act. Their fantasies often involve getting caught having sex, and they are attracted to people who are a little offbeat or odd.
When Venus or Mars is in Pisces, a subtle approach to flirting and sex is taken on. These lovers are generally open to all of the avenues of sexual expression, especially the nooks and crannies. They are forgiving and bending, and they are generally willing to please. At times romantic and gooey, these lovers are actually a bit like chameleons. It’s hard to pin them down to any one style. They may talk a lot one evening, and be withdrawn the next. In general, they prefer non-verbal expressions of love and are attracted to imbalance. Self-sacrifice, compassion, and even religion can be mixed into their sexual expression. They’re very sensitive but will almost always forgive you. They’ll even let you go if you so desire, and love you forever anyways. Although they can be shy and yielding, their lovers can sometimes find them maddeningly detached and spaced. Their fantasies are intricate and detailed, and they are attracted to the downtrodden or needy.

harsh advice for the mercury signs
aries: stop making impulsive decisions! trying to solve a problem quickly doesn’t work if you don’t think it through. don’t be so direct, it comes off as aggressive. you need to learn that other people have different opinions than you. don’t be so aggressive or try too hard to win an argument. criticism is not meant to hurt you, it’s meant to help you. start being more patient. just try to relax more or use your energy for other things. you’re very enthusiastic and know how to excite other people. you’re an excellent motivator. keep this up! many people need help with this and no one is better at it than you.
taurus: you knew it was coming- stop. being. so. stubborn. you have excellent common sense, use it to help you fix this stubbornness! some decisions are urgent. it’s good that you think them over but there’s no need to over analyze. understand that other people believe in different things. go ahead and fight for what you believe in but don’t get so into it that it ruins your day. you’re practical and deliberate. you’re not indecisive and you keep both emotions and logic in mind. continue doing this, it’s great!
gemini: try to start concentrating on a specific subject. it’s okay to learn about multiple things, but master one! watch what you say to other people. when communicating, you’re emotionally detached so that can make you come off as rude. the gossiping, flirting for no reason, playing with others’ weaknesses and stirring up controversy are things you can stop. they’re pointless! no need to do them just because you’re bored. you’re open-minded, logical and one of the most intelligent placements. you’re an excellent speaker and very witty. people will always enjoy a debate with you. these are very good things. use them as your advantage, find a career, skill or hobby that these can be applied to!
cancer: you seem a bit closed off and secretive even when you’re not. watch out for this! you like other people but this can push them away. you hate conflict. you start arguments often but don’t fight back. it’s okay to argue back or settle the argument down. you’re not doing anything wrong if you do. just don’t take anything the other person says so personally. criticism is to help you, not hurt you. there’s no need to be defensive. other than that, you’re very thoughtful. you’re shy, but this isn’t bad or good, it’s just there. you’re romantic, you have a great memory and you’re gentle. you’re loyal and not impulsive. these are all excellent qualities. you should mix them when working on everything else!
leo: it’s okay if you want to share your knowledge, but try not to act like a know-it-all. sometimes you even come off as arrogant. you’re not trying to be and you can’t even tell when you are. you always think about what other people think of you as a whole. you want everyone to love you, but you don’t think about when you’re annoying them or making them mad with little habits you have. pay attention to this. people aren’t gonna like you if you don’t pay attention. and don’t be so stubborn! other than that, you are passionate, creative, friendly, and entertaining. you’re an excellent actor and public speaker. you should definitely start doing more things that can put those great qualities to use.
virgo: relax. everything that can be fixed can be done by relaxing. it’s okay to learn about something you’re interested in, even if it doesn’t have a purpose or won’t get you anywhere. you pay attention to detail so much that you miss the big picture. you need to find a happy medium. you’re very picky, critical and whiny- all of this can be fixed if you just relax a bit. you get like this when you’re stressed out and overwhelmed. if you take this advice, you won’t be as stressed out or overwhelmed. you’re practical, detail-oriented, and cautious. you don’t make impulsive decisions. this is all great! if you try to take the advice i offered, make sure you keep these qualities. it might be a little hard but it’s possible!
libra: start actually listening to people. hear what they say. continue to think about the logic of what they’re saying, but don’t do it as much as you are right now. try to stop being so indecisive. stop trying to find middle ground for every single argument. you’re trying to make it fair, but sometimes that can be the exact opposite. because truthfully, one person can be right while the other is wrong. in those cases, there shouldn’t be a “middle ground”. don’t be lazy and try to be reliable. you’re great at diffusing conflict when it needs to be diffused. in the cases where two people arguing are right, you’re great at finding that place in between where it can be fair. continue this! just make sure that both sides of the argument are good and it’s not just black and white. you’re artistic, easy-going, a perfectionist and supportive. this is great! you’re able to easily take the advice offered and keep these qualities.
scorpio: watch out for coming across as negative! you don’t mean to, but people might see you as that. for example, when you’re giving critiques, be careful with how you give them. you also might be very quick to say something back to someone that makes you seem negative. it’s hard to compromise with you because of how stubborn you are. other signs are the same, but they won’t hold on as strongly or aggressively as you do. you’re very good at reading people and keeping secrets. you’re also a great motivator. you’re artistic, strategic, intelligent and passionate. you’re an excellent person to my friends with. keep this up! it’s one of the best things about you.
sagittarius: pay more attention to details! it’s great that you’re an optimist, but sometimes you need to start looking at the realistic side so you don’t set yourself up for disappointment. you could be more organized! try to stay patient with people. you can also still learn about many things to satisfy that curiosity of yours while focusing on one subject. you sometimes are gonna have to. because you’re so blunt, you can come across as someone who brags and is rude. this has to do with how much you want to get to the point, same with the impatience. this can actually be very good though- you won’t fall for mind games and sometimes getting to the point is needed. you’re independent, adventurous, enthusiastic and great at defending others. you love learning about broad subjects. this is all great! keep it up!
capricorn: this advice given to you is very similar to the advice given to virgo mercury- relax. you get impatient with people, overwhelmed, skeptical and strict. take a step back a bit. not everything is in your control and not everything is gonna go smoothly. when there’s bumps in the road, don’t get aggressive or impatient. you’re just gonna have to figure them out and you can’t do that when you’re feeling a ton of heat. try to be more open-minded! you appear to be pessimistic because of your lack of enthusiasm, this is also something you’re capable of changing if you want to. you’re reliable, independent, practical, intelligent and cautious. all of this proves that you like stability. if you take the advice offered, you’re more likely to be surrounded by more stability!
aquarius: stop starting problems and running away from solving them. you’re very smart! you’re capable of coming up with solutions immediately if you try to. there’s no reason to start chaos if you don’t want to be involved once you begin it. you have a big superiority complex which can do the exact opposite of what you want. people see that you have this complex and don’t like it. then they are less likely to satisfy it or allow you to practice it. it’s contradictory. try to get rid of this complex, it does literally nothing. you’re open-minded but also stubborn, it’s confusing. on top of all of this, you’re independent, organized, quirky, funny, practical and observant. that’s awesome! it makes people love to be around you.
pisces: you don’t like conflict, but when you’re unpredictable and moody, it causes conflict. this is confusing for other people as well as yourself! try to take a step back and think about how you’re feeling. is it rational? does acting out in unpredictable ways fix anything? try to sort out your thoughts more. this will help you make decisions and form opinions. you’re very trusting of others. this can set you up to be taken advantage of. sorting out your thoughts and really trying to think things through (without mixing in emotion) will also help stop this from happening. when overwhelmed, relax and get back to work instead of being lazy. you’re very artistic so engage in art! it will help you build confidence. you’re an awesome listener and very imaginative. applying logic to your thinking will help everything you imagine actually become reality!

Aspects of Lilith
Both descriptions may apply to conjunctions.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Sun: The native has a well-defined sense of self & remarkable inner security. They thrive when in conflict with an oppressive force or structure & feed on all kinds of attention, positive or negative. They take pride in their radical traits; they are liberated by unapologetic self-expression. Shame is not part of their vocabulary. Social discord is entertaining. The identity relies on breaking stereotypes, standing out, or rebelling somehow. Hedonism can become a severe self-sabotaging issue if the enjoyment of freedom goes too far or inflates the ego to the point of unhealthy confidence. These people typically find trouble wherever they go, and are easily bored by rules & standards. Square, opposite, or quincunx Sun: The native is constantly met with criticism, rejection, or exclusion for their individuality, and this causes them to hide or repress the most unique parts of themselves. They despise expectations, and when others have any measure of control over them they can become hostile or deeply troubled. They have a painful yearning for freedom but fear the reactions they are used to receiving. A significant amount of their energy will be spent learning how to express themselves openly & shamelessly. Social stigma or stifling of the identity in whatever form will be the primary catalyst for discovery and realization of self. They will be forced to accept themselves.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Moon: The native is comfortable exploring the darker & more unconventional parts of who they are. They instinctually understand their aberrant or taboo qualities, and they are not afraid of them; they’re naturally introspective when it comes to rejection or exclusion and intuitively realize what separates them from others. They use their emotions & imagination to highlight their individuality; they also find freedom in emotional expression. They are not tied down to the person they were raised to be, and do not limit themselves to a personal standard any more than a societal standard – they are able to break away from habitual conformity or self-stifling habits in general. Square, opposite, or quincunx Moon: The native is emotionally upset by rejection and may cling to tradition or other metaphorical “safety blankets” developed in childhood in order to avoid social discord. They habitually repress their dark, taboo, or aberrant qualities out of discomfort & insecurity. They’re afraid of fully expressing themselves, and being free in their individuality is a frighteningly foreign concept; they shy away from situations that prompt them to stand out or rebel and will retreat into a shell of reservations when faced with the opportunity to break or bend a standard. The emotional equilibrium is ravaged by criticism, exclusion, and alienation. They feel painfully isolated.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Mercury: The native is able to logically analyze social stigmas & standards, and intellectually deconstruct the power those have over individual lives (especially their own). Reason consistently prevails over peer pressure. Their ideas and the way they communicate them are radical in some way and receive much attention, good or bad. Criticism is easily combated with the mind; they are able to see through others’ opinions and separate themselves from judgement, and are thus free to think the way they want to – free thought defines their mindscape, and they are lost without it. Mental/verbal exchanges shape their understanding of society. Controversy deeply intrigues them. Square, opposite, or quincunx Mercury: The native has little faith in their ability to accurately comprehend themselves, others, or society as a whole, and therefore may place monumental importance on other people’s opinions. They are easily stressed by having to explain themselves or their actions; judgement and criticism easily shut them down. They are quick to label their ideas or their interpersonal & communicative mannerisms as strange and unwanted, so they may choose to be quiet and reserved rather than put their mind on display. They have a very difficult time defending themselves or rationalizing their place in a group. They can’t use their logical mind to escape twisted social structures.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Venus: The native easily merges personal freedom & social graces to create a naturally appealing individuality which gains positive attention & reactions from others, no matter how taboo or radical. Controversy is a part of the unique style; in other words, this person wears ignominy well, and may use it to their advantage in an attractive way. Others admire or romanticize their aberrant qualities. The native’s personal tastes and preferences support a happily outcast identity; criticism & judgement serve as signs of being socially relevant, and they make being different fashionable. Extreme hedonism is tied to this aspect, especially in relationships that aren’t widely acceptable. Square, opposite, or quincunx Venus: The native is torn in a heightened conflict between individuality and conformity, particularly in the context of relationships or style. The vacillation between radical subversion of social standards and passive adherence to them is a matter of choosing between happiness and harmony, both of which are crucially important. The native may lose relationships or general popularity for their stigmatized qualities, which deeply harms their self-esteem. They wish to fully be themselves but cannot reconcile that with the risks that come with it – they are unsure of its worth, which subsequently leads to uncertain self-worth as a whole.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Mars: The native possesses an unconquerable willpower which seldom bends for anyone else, and there is little care for others’ disapproval of it. If something is desired, it is achieved; the expectations and opinions of other people have little to no influence. No social stigma, criticism, or oppressive standard can get in the way of the native’s drive. They regularly break rules and disregard structures that don’t serve their initiatives, and charge forward without waiting for anyone to forgive, accept, or get used to them. Their sexuality is openly expressed; they are proud of their taboo desires. Going against popular belief fuels their inner fire, impassions and excites them. Square, opposite, or quincunx Mars: The native is easily infuriated by notions, structures, or actions which they perceive as threatening of their autonomy, and they typically react with hostility when others criticize or attempt to control them in any way. They are unable to handle judgement, often reject the opinions of others before they’ve even heard them, and thus usually have a narrow view of most things, lacking the capacity to see other perspectives. Their one-track mind can cause them to lack foresight & create immense social conflict/discord where it is not necessary or appropriate. All of this stems from a deep fear of of others defining them, so they invert it into aggressive opposition of others & abrasively assume the role of “outcast” before others can force them into it.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Jupiter: The native’s mind is filled with grand philosophies of the truth about society and why stigmas & standards must be broken for spiritual growth. They find enlightenment through liberation; freedom is more important to them than anything else because it fulfills them in every way and allows them to expand their intellect. Likewise, they use their intellect to expand their freedom, as well as the freedom of others. They may become something of a social pioneer or modern guru, teaching about the detrimental nature of the status quo and encouraging others to go against the norm. They don’t believe in conformity. Their beliefs separate them from the majority. Square, opposite, or quincunx Jupiter: The native may attach to philosophies solely for the sake of controversy. They may become so invested in being different that they no longer care if they are right. Their morality is selfish; their beliefs & personal code revolve around a set of faux rules which permit them to be hedonistic or destructive for the sake of “liberation.” Unhealthy, harmful habits are proudly paraded around under the guise of self-empowered notions. Self-control feels unbearably limiting and stifling, even if it’s for their own good. They can become “special snowflake” types, and attempt to preach their flawed ideas so that others follow them in their “enlightened” lifestyle and thus validate it.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Saturn: Much of the native’s power comes from the innate ability to rework social limitations into structures that serve their purpose and growth. They are incredibly wise when it comes to the sensitivity of culture and know their place in society, as well as how to change it. They understand that freedom comes with responsibility and it does not come free; they possess the self-discipline necessary to cultivate true self-liberation and they aren’t afraid of putting in the effort to create the individuality they want to be known for. They handle stigma with grace, and rationally deconstruct the paradigms of others so that they begin to question why they believe in certain standards & “norms.” Square, opposite, or quincunx Saturn: The native easily becomes consumed by the “process” of “becoming themselves” – they get caught up in the changes that need to be made within themselves or in their environment before they can allow themselves to be fully self-expressive. They limit themselves with their own expectations, can become hindered by tradition, and place too much importance on the judgement & disapproval of authority figures. They care about the structural integrity of society, and don’t wish to compromise its strength, so they tend to repress all that is aberrant, controversial, or radical about themselves; they see self-liberation as selfish, non-productive, and unnecessarily dissonant.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Uranus: The native possesses very extreme views and opinions on society which others either love or hate them for. They often behave outrageously for the fun of it, and do or say things that may cause discord because gives them an electric, purposeful feeling. They disregard all social limitations and couldn’t care less about acceptance. They are the bona fide rebel. Nothing & no one can prevent them from being the person they want to be. Liberation runs in their blood. They don’t believe in any social order which hinders individual autonomy, and they have a desire to change society to make room for “the atypicals” like them. They use their freedom to free others. Square, opposite, or quincunx Uranus: Much of the traits for harmonious Lilith-Uranus aspects apply here as well, but in a harsher, more desperate sense. The native knows the pain and isolation of being rejected, humiliated, alienated, and ostracized, so they devote a lot of their energy to radically changing the social climate for the better. They have an ironic moral code; while they reject the morality of others, they follow their own rules. Their rebellion is decisive and purposeful rather than hedonistic or self-congratulating; they have a vision, a grand and noble goal of collective freedom which begins with them. They wish to change society almost as punishment for their oppressors.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Neptune: The native effortlessly, unconsciously evades social boundaries; cultural restrictions can’t contain them, because they slip away from rules and judgement non-violently, mysteriously. They live almost independent of social structure, outside of the realm of conformity. Others often romanticize their aberrant qualities & paint them as figures of graceful rebellion & unapologetic individuality, even though they may not intend to come across as such – they are just existing, but they do so with a gentle limitlessness envied by others. They draw inspiration and spiritual fulfillment from liberation, and feel most free when their soul (or subconscious mind) is uninhibited. Square, opposite, or quincunx Neptune: The native is easily confused or lost within social boundaries; they can’t comprehend others’ judgements or the rules placed upon them, and this creates deep interpersonal discomfort which invades the subconscious mind and the soul, surfacing through dreams, art, & emotions (which are the only places they feel free). They may cling to religion/spirituality to find their individuality. They can’t differentiate external standards from interior goals/desires and often chase ideals that aren’t their own. Others demonize their aberrant qualities and label them inaccurately. They liberate themselves through deceit, illusion, and escapism, as it is the only way they know how to.
Sextile, trine, or quintile Pluto: The native is intimately connected to their individuality, possessing a raw, resilient relationship to the darkest parts of who they are which separate them from others. They are immensely courageous when it comes to experiencing the taboo & controversial parts of society, entirely unafraid of things others try to ignore. They transform through unapologetic self-expression, and find rebirth through liberation. Their sexuality is deep and powerful, extreme and different, and they are proud of this; it is part of their identity, part of the way they rebel from society’s control over ego. They never allow society or other people to control them in any way. They own themselves. Square, opposite, or quincunx Pluto: The native is terrified of being controlled, and has extremely adverse emotional reactions to anything they perceive as having the potential to limit their freedom. They are paranoid of society’s power to erase individuality. They go to severe measures to protect their identity and autonomy, resorting to secrecy, manipulation, lies, and hostility to defend what they are afraid will be taken from them or exposed. They are fundamentally ashamed, guilty, and fearful; criticism and judgement harms their self-image. Their dark, taboo, aberrant traits are out of control, particularly their “unacceptable” sexual desires. They’re ruled by an obsession with individuality & liberation, which ironically damages or decreases their individual freedom.

Aspects To Mercury: The Art of Communication
An interest in Mercury has sparked me tonight, so I would like to make a post about the aspects to it; how planets can modify and add to its power whether it be psychically modified by Neptune or artistically modified by Venus, Mercury gives us something very special. Our minds are gifts, each and every mind has its ways. With planetary aspects to Mercury, we get insight on how we put our element to work. Note: I’m excluding the Sun from this post as I already put it here and the only major aspect it can make is the conjunction.
Tumblr media
Mercury and Moon; the Expressive Mind
Mercury Conjunct Moon The mind and emotions work together, although, one may dominate the other depending on the sign they are in (obviously if the moon is in a more complementary sign for it, it will dominate Mercury and vice versa). Speaking their emotions may be easy for them. Makes them witty and talkative, very expressive in the way they communicate, it is very easy to read their emotions based on the way they speak to you.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Moon The mind and emotion are in complete harmony. The power of emotions can be put into thoughts, words, and writing very easily for this individual. This is an excellent placement for writers or any area that may require emotion into expressing ideas so things aren’t all robotic. Very perceptive and expressive.
Mercury Square Moon The complete opposite of the harmonious aspects. The mind and emotions are at conflict with each other. Emotions need to be controlled wherever Mercury is sitting in (check the house). Decisions may be based on emotions, needs to be more reasonable. Needs to stop switching between rational and irrational feelings. Easy attitude adjustment can fix this. On the positive side, carries unconditional love.
Mercury Opposite Moon Opposition usually represent outer forces. Opt to be the victim of gossip and criticism. Should also not be the cause of gossip and criticism themselves as it will create more karmic debt. Like the square, could have issues with being reasonable. Needs some attitude adjustments. Likely to be very nervous and restless too often. May likely possess some of the positive traits from the harmonious aspects making them good writers.
Mercury and Venus; the Artistic Mind
Note: Venus can only ever be 78 degrees apart from Mercury. We are always aware of the power of love in our mind, thus they cannot be separated too much. The only major aspects it can make are the conjunction and the sextile. It can make minor aspects semi-sextile (harmonious), quintile (harmonious), and semi-square (inharmonious), but the orbs on them would have to be extremely tight to be noticeable and I have not researched enough on those aspects to feel comfortable spreading too much information on them. You can get a basic idea that the semi-sextile is similar to sextile, but just a minor form of it and a semi-square is similar to the square, but a minor form of it. Quintiles symbolize awareness or lack there of; things we do without realizing. Aaaand I’ve rambled on, but maybe you guys learned something new.
Mercury Conjunct Venus The mind is very refined and artistic. Soft and charming. Ideas and voice can be almost hypnotizing. Very friendly when unafflicted. Speaks beauty so effortlessly.
Mercury Sextile Venus Great placement for musicians; it combines the mind with artistic abilities. Very artistic. Friendly, charming, and social, may come off a little fake though.
Mercury and Mars; the Passionate Mind
Mercury Conjunct Mars Mental process is passionate, aggressive, and fiery (especially if the planets are in fiery signs). Can make the individual sharp tongued, sarcastic, and blunt. When discussing passion for something, the energy is likely to be extremely bold unless other placements can tone down this fiery force.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Mars Put mind into action. Extremely passionate about their ideas and arguments. They love to argue. The mind seems to always be working. A new day is a new opportunity for these people. Maybe blunt and sarcastic.
Mercury Square Mars Hot-tempered, too blunt, and too sarcastic. Must stabilize their animal-like ways to fix aggression. Control the rudeness. Mercury Opposite Mars Unlike the square, these people are likely to encounter people like the square especially if the planets are tied to the seventh house; be sure to check all houses though, because, personal houses affect the individual internally whereas a very public house such as the tenth house has to do with aggressive outer forces trying to balance karma again. Great potential and ambition. Passion is still there like the harmonious aspects.
Mercury and Jupiter; the Good Spirited Mind
Mercury Conjunct Jupiter Jupiter gives the mind some philosophical links. Very generous and jovial. Humorous, optimistic, and intelligent minded. Mind is kind of lazy, may need Mars to give it a push for bigger goals. The mind find interest in literature, art, and religion. Its good nature leads simpleness to the individual’s life, you could even say their life is easy, but it may just be because they hardly wish to act upon big opportunities. They are always quite content.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Jupiter Very intelligent and wise despite the age the individual may be. Makes for a great teacher. Like the conjunction, strong interests in the areas of literature, art, and religion. May hold strong faith. Contagious optimism.
Mercury Square Jupiter Good spirited and easy to speak to. The mind tends to procrastinate and be forgetful. Difficulty with rejecting and tend to be “yes-men.” Money smart. Superstition, but skeptical towards religion. If Jupiter lacks good aspects with other personal planets, judgement may be poor. Has a hard time keeping secrets if this aspect is prominent. Difficulty with pulling together mental resources quickly when being questioned or argued with.
Mercury Opposite Jupiter How this aspect acts will really depend on what signs Mercury and Jupiter are in. It is mental activity versus all areas Jupiter manifests. May be seen as a difficult aspect in fixed signs as it creates stubbornness in the matters of truthfulness. Other than that, it can possess many of the traits the harmonious trine or sextile carries.
Mercury and Saturn; the Serious Mind
Mercury Conjunct Saturn Very serious, unless Venus or Jupiter loosens the individual. If Saturn is something that is very prominent and persistent in the individual’s chart, they may be gloomy or pessimistic. Deep thinker. Tendency to loneliness if self-centred thoughts are expressed. Make good teachers as they are very orderly and strict. Through hard work, they will see great success.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Saturn Practical, intelligent, responsible, ambitious. Likely to have grown up well disciplined. Their minds are very good at absorbing knowledge. Great self control. A favourable aspect to have for good physical health as Saturn gives strength to bones.
Mercury Square Saturn A polar opposite to the trine/sextile. May not be so great where education is concerned. The mind is just not very good at absorbing knowledge like the harmonious aspect is. Squares are to teach us to be persistent. Where gaining knowledge is difficult, the individual needs to be patient and overcome this difficulty. Learn how to improve memory skills and studying habits. Avoid depressive thoughts of “I can’t do this” and stay away from bad habits.
Mercury Opposite Saturn Brings lack of communication and issues from outer forces, especially family and relatives when aspected to the 3rd, 4th, or 7th house. Brings on feelings of being uncared for. Early life is generally unhappy and disrupted where education is concerned, but as they get older, intelligence and success should come their way. Feeling limited is only temporary. If Saturn is prominent in the individual’s chart, they are likely to be very serious and distrusting.
Mercury and Uranus; the Genius Mind
Mercury Conjunct Uranus Mercury and Uranus work together like PB & J. You could easily call an individual with this aspect a genius as they can easily come up with new concepts and ideas. Their minds think on a whole other level. Will and mind is strong.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Uranus Originality and extraordinary intelligence. Inventive, keen, quick minded, especially in air signs. Excellent communicators. Independent and even a bit eccentric.
Mercury Square Uranus Although a square, does not lack intelligence. Probably just as original and intelligent as the conjunction, but attitude is somewhere else. Very independent, kind of snappy, sarcastic, and blunt. If lacks harmonious aspects to Venus, they may need to learn how to speech more gently. The independent mastermind, maybe too independent.
Mercury Opposite Uranus Needs to control their erratic tendencies as although they can gain some things for this individual, they can also bring sudden loss. By checking what houses are associated with this aspect, you can see where the spontaneous behaviour is being expressed. Nervous and impatient, still opt to be intelligent.
Mercury and Neptune; the Dreamy Mind
Mercury conjunct Neptune Of course with such a strong aspect to Neptune, the individual is going to have some difficulty with the reality of things. Fact and myth sometimes just blurs into a singular meaning. If lacks aspects to Saturn, likely to live more in the mythical land versus reality. Romantic and a wishful thinker. Sensitive and psychic. Needs to work on focus. Great aspect for musicians and poets.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Neptune This quote best describes this placement better than I ever could, “Inspirational, poetic, and creative mind, Aptitude for psychic and mystical fields. Can benefit from dreams and visions. Practical idealist. Is able to use his inspirational powers constructively. Exquisite sensitivity toward the subtler aspects of life. Strong love of the sea and should live near it. Has the ability to contact higher planes of consciousness in sleep and in meditation and bring instruction through to the conscious mind.” - Astrology, A Cosmic Science
Mercury Square Neptune Again, we are to learn from squares, they build strength. An individual with this aspect needs to learn to focus and take off the rose-filtered glasses. Needs to be more honest and direct. Thoughts need to be more clear. Psychic ability may be there, but also may cause difficulties. Deception brings on more deception; its the way karma works. May be as sneaky as a snake, but karma will get them eventually and it won’t be good. No more lies and unnecessary secretiveness. Truth brings truth.
Mercury Opposite Neptune Great imagination, but may need to be reminded of what is real. Quite emotional, a lot of mental activity based on emotions. Should be careful of deceptive people; don’t put your guard down. Check what houses are associated with this aspect so you know where the deception could come from.
Mercury and Pluto; the Perceptive Mind
Mercury Conjunct Pluto The aspects brings that ability to bring the unconscious mind into thoughts and words. a great aspect for investigators or anything that requires careful research. You could say their mind is very penetrating, it can pierce through the unknown. The individual has to some degree, the power to manipulate. They are very perceptive and know exactly what to say to a person to trigger specific thoughts and emotions. Some individuals may use their ‘powers’ for negative purposes.
Mercury Trine/Sextile Pluto Similar to the conjunction, but not likely to use their ability to obtain power like the conjunction might. This individual is logical and original.
Mercury Square Pluto Skeptical and impatient. May not be as perceptive as the harmonious aspects, so they need to slow down, especially when reading people’s gestures. The obsession for knowing the unknown for power-related reasons is common with this aspect.
Mercury Opposite Pluto This individual can sometimes be oversensitive. Feels lonely ever when clearly not; lack of contentment in groups of friends. Constantly feeling of needing to self-improve to seek inner contentment. Needs to think carefully before making judgement or decisions. On the positive side, these people have great motivation to their desires. They will work for them.
