✿     He gave a tiny smile as they moved back to the nest, settling beside     the other and letting out a quiet hum. “Where am I from? Ah, off the     coast of… I believe China?” He furrowed his brow and gave a little     shrug. “We had an island of our own. Most of the other sirens     thought I was… rather strange. So I tended to stay to an area     of my own.”

    ✿         He leaned against the rock and let out a quiet noise, staring up and scrunching         his nose just a little. “It was quiet, save for when we would sing. Our queen         always made sure we were fed. The laws said we needed to hunt in groups         to not be taken since we’d seen it happen before.” He hung his head, shaking         it some. “What was your home like?”

⚔    He listened intently and tilted his head some. He’d never been to China before.    He relaxed a little as he thought back to his own home. He leaned his head back    and stared upwards. “My home was mm, it was off the coast of Europe.    Large, I had a lot of older siblings, I’m the youngest.” 

⚔    He fiddles with the bracelets on his wrists and bites at his bottom lip some.     “It was nice even if I had my own problems with it. I’d gone on my own to    train a little when I got taken. It all happened so fast, I’m still not sure what    exactly happened.”
