what if you’re giving birth to twins and it’s the end of daylights savings day and the older twin was born first but the second twin travels back in time and is born an hour before the first twin, would that be fucked up or what.

Sometimes the well-written article trying to persuade gets the point across. Sometimes the vent post gets the point across. Either way, the message is getting out there. Thank you for posting this, and I hope you leave reblogs open so it can continue to spread.
I swear some of you must be captioning images poorly on purpose. Either that or Tumblr's piss-poor media literacy extends so far that people genuinely believe mindlessly writing whatever details they notice at random is somehow useful to people.
As an example, I saw a thread in which someone replied with a photo of a cat as a reaction to someone else's post. It's clear from context that the cat's body language was meant to evoke a quiet thoughtfulness in response. Someone else followed up with an image description that went into excruciating detail about the cat's coloration, its markings, its fur length, its eye color, then described the color of the paint on the walls, took time to mention the random objects in the background, and *didn't* describe the cat's pose whatsoever.
Look, if you're going to try to "helpfully" caption an image, please make some effort to understand what the image is trying to communicate so that you can write a *useful* description. If someone says "wow, this is a weird looking cat" then sure, describe the markings in full detail. If someone goes "me when you take my juice box" with an angry-looking kitten, maybe talk about the cat's stance and apparent expression and skip the part where you list every title you see on the bookshelf in the background.

why is religious Christmas imagery all so joyful and pleasant? where is the inherent horror of the birth of Christ? A mother is handed her newborn child, wailing and innocent. Her hands come away sticky. Red. Simply by giving her son life she has already killed him. He is doomed from the beginning. Her love will not save him from suffering. Because the thing cradled in her arms is not a baby, it is a sacrifice: born amongst the other bleating animals whose blood will one day be spilled in the name of what demands it. the night is silent with anticipation. Mary, did you know? That your womb was also a grave?

I’m still mad about something that happened on tiktok last week and I want to do a post about it and explain an aspect of transphobia I’ve observed.
A cis user made a video asking that trans people share more banger music that they make, but clarified saying “by trans people, I mean trans women” because trans men only make that “sad ukulele” music. There was much discourse, he doubled down and said trans men couldn’t take a joke, other trans people threw the offended transmascs under the bus, or insisted that they can also make club music, yada yada.
I want to know if the queers who haven’t been queer as long as I have know that this exact drama was had with gays and lesbians. Do you know that some transphobia is repackaged homophobia and lesbophobia? I feel like that’s something we should be allowed to say and examine without someone shutting you down and insisting you’re conflating the gays and transes.
But yeah, for decades the joke has been that gay men are the fun flamboyant ones that make good art and dance music, and that lesbians are angry and dress ugly and make sad folk music. It’s pretty much an identical bias and resulting disrespectful jokes.
And it’s shit! I’m not going to let anyone, let alone a cis person, get away with transphobia just because it’s directed at trans men. It’s rude and harmful to devalue our art, and our art doesn’t need to be easily consumable to you. We’re allowed to be pissed and offended when you write us off, minimize the harm you’ve done, and exclude us from the conversation. It’s obvious when you only tolerate the queers who can serve you, and that you don’t actually care to listen or learn about our lives, struggles, and art.

Amazing!
I've drawn most of D&D's races in isotype pictogram / bathroom / safety sign style, for all your fantasy signage needs. You can use these however you like, but credit me if you can and don't claim the unedited images as your own.
First row: kobold, goblin, aarakocra/kenku, tabaxi, tiefling, satyr, dragonborn, yuan-ti, firbolg, werewolf
Second row: harengon, ratfolk, halfling/gnome, dwarf, humanoid, elf, goliath, orc/bugbear, skeleton, lich, minotaur
Third row: loxodon, lizardfolk, gelatinous cube

Honestly?
Fuck cringe culture.
Wear your tail. Wear your ears. Be an animal. I’m a 22 year old man who fell asleep with his realistic wolf plush yesterday because it felt like a wolf pup to me. Embrace your alterhumanity. Time goes on and you only live once in this body. Make the most of it and fuck what others think.

the thing is, you're never going to stop saying and thinking intersexist shit until you unlearn the sex binary. I don't care if a majority of people broadly fall into two camps ("male" and "female"). if you continue to treat sex as a binary category rather than just another social construct, you're going to keep on thinking about sex in the wrong way
unbinary your idea of sex. learn about intersex variations. learn about the amount of variation that can occur between different races, classes, and disabilities. stop saying "sex is binary, gender is not". maybe then we'll be able to have a normal conversation about intersex people

A few tips for young trans men/boys, transmascs, anybody who wants tips:
If somebody makes you insecure about your masculinity or manhood, 9/10 times, they're trying to sell you something (and the "something" won't be worth you fretting about)
Wash your face before shaving and use a good shaving cream. Always make sure your razors are sharp
Your body doesn't need to look like a Hollywood star's body. They are most certainly dehydrated, and they are not a realistic depiction of a masculine or male form
Dress in whatever way is most comfortable, including dressing like Adam Sandler
Military-grade is often used as a marketing scheme, save your money
If you aren't happy right now, one day you will be. This is a threat and a promise
Your emotions are not "good" or "bad," they are emotions. Let yourself feel them even if they are uncomfortable
Masculinity and/or being a man are yours to define, and I cannot stress how important it is to have a relationship with your masculinity and/or manhood that is defined by you
You're allowed to have any relationship with your pre-coming out self that you want or makes the most sense with your realization that you're trans

My bet’s on spaghetti.

thanks @bmoharrisbankofficial but unfortunately i can’t focus on the very important message here because i’m too busy being confused by the fact that apparently if you send an ask with only one letter tumblr will bold that letter in the “asked you” notification text?? why the fuck would that be the case

It’s like blowing up a full-sized plane/bus combo, you just need to make sure you’ve got all the cameras properly set and nothing interferes because you know you’re only going to get one take.
gonna start saying “you couldn’t make x movie today” but for reasons unrelated to political correctness
