リュックは思案げに"Umu・・・"と言っている。

考えてみればリュックとは単なる収納のための袋です。 その袋を私たちなりのオリジナルなものに仕立てようとすると 私たちが培ってきた独自の技法と感性を充全に駆使して制作するしかありません。 そして出来上がったのがこのリュックです。 その名前は"Umu rucksack"。 日本では小説の中で登場人物が思案げに頷いて発する感嘆詞に「うむ・・・」というのがあります。 そのイメージから名づけました。 このリュックは思案げに頷いて"Umu・・・"と言っているようです。 それでもやはりこのリュックは単なる袋でしかないのも事実なのですが。

夜空に彗星が尾を描いて 銀河は充満に漂っている。 金星が瞬いた。 それを見て土星が静かに笑った。 まるでタルホ（稲垣足穂）の世界のよう。 そんなドレスがいいな。

ブリコラージュ精神

ブリコラージュとは間にあわせの日常品を使って新しい機能具を作り出すこと。 太古の昔、人の衣服や道具はこの方法で作り出されてきたことを想うと、 現在にその方法を生かせば自由な衣服の出現が期待できる、かも。 まずはリサイクル布片を絵画を描くように繋ぎ合わせて新たな布にして、 それを素材に自由に衣服にしていくと、 そこにあるのは既存の拘束感からの自由な空気感。 だからこのコンセプトの制作方を一つのシリーズにすることにした。 シリーズ名はそのものずばり「ブリコ」。 そしてこの作品名は「ブリコのヒカリ」。

So we decided to make a this series based on these concept. The this series name is "Brico." And the title of this work is "Hikari of Brico".

表がないから裏もないのです。

最近の異常気象の影響で季節感の変化を楽しむこともなかなか困難になってきました。 四季折々の変化を「衣替え」という慣習で楽しんできた私たちは、これまで以上にファッションのその効力に期待が高まっているのかも知れません。 さらに古くから日本では座布団の表裏を裏返すことでその場の空間意識を刷新するという知恵がありました。 この術もまた季節感の変節を意識化するにはまさしく最適な方法のように思います。 リバーシブルのジャケットはまさしくこれらをそのまま具現化したように見えます。 裏にすれば新たな空間が立ち現れます。 秋に向かって必須のアイテムのように写ります。

SewingをDrawingにする・その3...

今回は胸元や背中の加工を以前よりもっと大胆にしました。 きめを荒く布地の一部が変化して木の芽が吹いたように 生命力が宿ったようなディテールにしたかったのです。 装飾的な模様に見えるのは嫌だったのです。

今回もまた前回に引き続き「Sewing Drawing」シリーズのMen’sになります。 考え方はLady’sと同じですが「Sewing Drawing」のテクスチャーの部分がより立体的になりました。 プリミティブでありながら精悍なものを試みました。 ジャケットの下に着たり、時にはそのままシャツジャケットのような扱いができます。
