A redo of an old video. I wanted to improve it overall, the frame was because otherwise the framing would cut off the entire outer edge, this looks sick though I’m glad

Aligning Jesus with Warhol. Pop art vulgarity, because what’s the point otherwise? I’m really enjoying mixing video & still photos in a collage, but I’m still figuring it out.

I made this just to practice with video editing, especially because the music video was easy to transition into the old Chevy Colorado commercials. I wanted to make the joke of Colorado by The Hellp being their “car commercial” song real. I also wanted to have the vibe of “Free Advertising, Like A Rock” by Noah Dillon.

I’ve been crazy busy with school and sick off & on with that, add on my shoulder is having pain again. But this is all I’ve worked on recently, I might do these every so often just as a creative exercise and diary type thing. It’s if you were to go to the webpage of music in my brain.

I made this, hated it, scrapped it almost entirely after posting it on instagram, then reworked it and got something perfect. I just started college and lost my job that I might be getting back. So I’m suddenly busy again, but I really want to make more like this!!

I’m starting to make little “lyric videos” with my colleges, trying to learn to edit videos better, trying to make the things that are living in my brain so obsessively. (part 2/2)

I think I’m hitting an art rut, but I also just started school for the first time since graduating high school in 2021, so that’s definitely an effect. I want to use videos more, I’m trying to plan a series of “lyric video” type things for my top artists, or ones I haven’t already referenced to death at least.

This is based off the August 21, 1966 performance that got the Doors kicked out of the Whiskey a Go-Go, the Oedipal spoken word & the Jim Morrison quote “…kill all those things in yourself which are instilled in you and are not of yourself, they are alien concepts which are not yours, they must die. Fuck the mother is very basic, and it means get back to essence, what is reality, what is, fuck the mother is very basically mother, mother-birth, real, you can touch it, it's nature, it can't lie to you.”

He was a fascinating artist to look back on, very troubled like modern artists, an icon of music history. He was an emotional poet and enigmatic performer I will take inspiration from. (part 1/2)

I had missed an older one, I thought I had posted at least. This was a collaboration with Elizabeth Fanfera (@ humanmemegirl on instagram), she provided me the images scanned in from her collection, I went from there! We went for a Valley of the Dolls & soft vintage femme vibe.

The Fame. I started this about a week ago, and since then I had been told about my jobs repurchasing and now found out the new owners don’t want to hire any of us. So me and all my friends are out our jobs.

I started this with such a strong vision, early Gaga, Marilyn Monroe & Jim Morrison. Sex, drugs, and rock & roll in whatever order you put them in. These figures stay in my mind constantly. My dogs name is Monroe, the irony is she’s on phenobarbital for her seizures. My dad loved The Doors, and was an alcoholic. I love Gaga and I’m a gay stoner mess, so i guess that’s the connection with that one? Anyways, the idea fame fascinates me.
