Her ears perked up as she heard the knock and replied. It’s open. As she saw him in the doorway she stared, studying him. His figure, his facial features, his scent. Details to try to understand him. I’ll give you the same conditions as Marco. I’m going to sleep in my human form. Do not try to sneak a peek or else you lose my trust. She settled down keeping a bit of body distance between her and the commander since she had yet to completely trust him.
Around 4 am in the morning, a familiar scent invaded her nostrils. The stench of iron, steel and gunpowder. Her hair bristled with alertness. She nudged Thatch. Wake up. She whispered as she shifted into her zoan form. Just then, Marco knocked and entered. She lifted her nose to the air. She snorted in disgust. Marines are nearby. About a few yards out. Marco looked at her. “How can you tell, yoi?” She wrinkled her nose. Their stench. Reaks of arrogance and cleanliness. Marco chuckled and then, he looked up seeing Aria climb off the bed. “And where do you think you're going, yoi?” I can fight you know. Marco crossed his arms. “It’s not your fight, yoi.” What the hell? You can't tell me what to do! Aria argued. “You're not an official member, don't want to give them the wrong impression, yoi.” True enough. Alright, I'll go below deck. After while, Aria was growing agitated and impatient by the sounds of the fighting above the deck. She walked above on deck and sat beside Whitebeard's chair. Whitebeard noticed how she tensed wanting to lunge forward but, staying put. “You want to join in?”
“What happened to staying down below, yoi?” She shrugged as she attacked the marine. I got bored. Marco seemed annoyed with her response. “Stop being selfish, this is a battle. If you’re only going to fight for yourself leave, yoi. Otherwise, you'd be considered fighting for us, yoi.” She clawed the marine. Shut up and pay attention to your surroundings, Phoenix. “This discussion isn't over, yoi.” She waved her paw nonchalantly. Yea, yea. Whatever, Featherbrain.
@aria-hellhound
Thatch was not that surprised to hear her answer to while she had saved him. Not that it would have been knocking him out for long or crippled him, but it was still nice he had been spared the pain and teasing from the crew. Now the crew trusted her a little, which was good. For now.
“True, assassins doesn’t have it easy. You work alone, can’t really trust or rely on someone and you are always on guard. It’s a tiring job,” he said. Not just physically, but also mentally. Being alone was hard, something that not everyone could do, even if they were trained to be that. It depended on the personality they were born with.
He sighed and leaned back. “I couldn’t be one. Not that I trust everyone I meet, I know I’m high on the list of wanted people, but not be able to let my guard down among those I see as family … I couldn’t do that. For me that shows distrust and I trust my family and friends.” It was true and also the thought of being alone was scaring to him. Not that he would voice that to her know. It was a weakness that she could take advantage of and while he had to gain her trust, she also had to gain his. It worked both ways.
When she shed the bone armor off, he raised a brow, but didn’t comment on it. He didn’t know much of her Devil’s Fruit power, so why she did so was up to her to tell. However, he could understand her reason for killing the slave traders and traffickers, he just didn’t agree on that. And she wasn’t the only one on this ship thinking like that. Luckily people were different.
“Dark humor, you got there. Suits your wolf beauty. Well, wolf or dog or whatever your are. It’s beautiful,” he smiled. When Marco told them the sleeping arrangement he just nodded, not minding it at all. It gave them time to bond with her, understanding her better. Hopefully she would see that they weren’t going to betray her. The only way for her to get on the bad side, was to betray them and their kindness. And she would have a hard time surviving that.

Being an assassin isn't a task for just anyone. I didn't choose this profession, it just sort of happened in a twisted turn of events. She zoned out thinking back when she was younger and naive. How had her life gone to hell? Why did she kill? What's her purpose in the grand scheme of life? She sighed. I admire that you can blindly trust those whom you call family without hesitation. It's not a luxury for me to do so easily. As she let her bone armor fade she took noticed of his furrowed brow. It takes a toll staying in my zoan form for so long even though I'm used to it. Then, she stumbled across one of Thatch’s thoughts. She curiously asked, Why does the thought of being alone scare you? It's no different than solitude. She waited for his answer.
And thank you, I refer to myself as a wolf. Why do people fear wolves? I find that they are often misunderstood. People have doomed the wolf not for what it is, but for what they have deliberately and mistakenly have been perceived to be... a savage, ruthless killer… which is, in reality no more than a reflected image of oneself. She tilted her head slightly. I don't betray those I make a deal, pact, or promise with unless they do it to me first. So you need not worry, Commander. She walked off following Marco to her living quarters leaving Thatch on deck.
The next day flew by. She mostly basked in the sunlight and would swap stories of her tales of adventure and travels with Newgate. As night fell, she arrived upon a curious sight. There was a faint glow in the water. Upon looking closer, she could see a small school of bio-luminescent lantern fish skimming the surface of the ocean. She reached into her bag and pulled out a small fishing net. She managed to catch two of them and carefully placed them in her big transparent plastic container and carried it into her room. She gently placed it on the nearby desk. She then waited for the Fourth Division Commander to arrive.

Very well, I accept your answer. As you said, words are nothing but words. She looked out over the ocean between the wooden bars of the railings. As for your questions, I acted on impulse and saved you because no one else was aware. I would have been at fault not to act instead of letting you purposely being injured when it’s possible I could prevent a serious injury. I have a high pain tolerance so it didn’t hurt that much despite the blood.
She took a a sniff of the salty air as it blew through her fur. We assassins need to be wary of our surroundings even when surrounded by friends. It’s how we’ve been trained, its ingrained into us to never let our guards down. If that makes sense to you. The only ones I can only really let my guard down is around Shanks, Benn, and Mihawk. Cause I know they’re how you say, over protective sometimes.
She let her bone armor fade away and turned back around facing him. Now she just looked like a big black wolf. While I could leave slave traders and traffickers alive, it doesn’t guarantee that they won’t stop or seek revenge. Better to nip it in the bud. The Marines obviously turn a blind eye so no one should really mind if they’re dead. After all, dead men tell no tales. She chuckled at her own dark humor. Shifting her position to standing on her four legs she swished her tail as Marco headed over toward them. He was coming over to notify Aria that he would be sleeping in her room tonight. He and Thatch would be rotating sleeping in her room each night.
@aria-hellhound
He listened to her and he was slight taken back by her straight forward question on how he would gain her trust where others had failed. Sure, her job didn’t invite people to want to get to know here, but he was not like other people. Besides, what was the harm in getting to know her? She was going to stay for a while after all. And she had saved him earlier. He frowned lightly at the venom in her voice when she spoke of slave traders and child traffickers. Sounded like she had high moral for an assassin.
“Good to know you take care of the scum of this world. While I don’t kill them, I do beat them to cripples, when I cross their path or their mine,” he said. To him it was far more satisfying to let them live, but without being able to ever harm another person again. Death was far too soft for them, he thought.
The lightly smacking came as a surprise and he looked at her with a raised brow. “Teasing me already, eh?” he grinned. it had felt like that, but he could be wrong. When she lied down, looking at him like that, he felt uneasy. What did she expect? He just wanted to talk and that was all. He nodded lightly, as she said she wanted to ask him something and he had to answer truthfully.
“First of all, I don’t want to just tell you why you can trust me, because I know it is just words. Trust is earned, not giving because of words. Second, why should I betray you? I see no reason to. When I gain your trust, you will also know I never would betray you,” he said, locking his eyes with her. “I can’t see a monster or mindless beast when I look at you. All I see is a Devil’s Fruit user, who for some unknown reason, doesn’t want to show her human form to me and that’s fine. You have your reasons and I won’t force you to show me, no matter how curious I am.”
He sighed and looked at the sky. “Yesterday you pushed me out of harms way and got wounded in the progress. Why would you do that?” he asked, lowering his gaze once more. It didn’t make sense to him. Why would she do that, when her whole attitude was hostile and suspicious towards them? He was grateful, but it confused him.

She felt hesitant but, decided she would give the commander a chance since Newgate had told her Thatch would be one of her room companions to sleep with along with Marco. He seemed like he was being genuine. Alright, you've got me curious. How do you plan to win my trust Commander, when others have not? I've read your thoughts before hand and I must admit, you're an odd one. Usually people avoid me since my job well... I kill people for a living. Though, most of them deserve it. I kill slave traders and child traffickers for free. I despise them the most.
She growled as the last part left her mouth. She got to her feet and swished her tail lightly smacking his back side testing him as she circled before drinking some more from the mug. Then, she laid down facing him head on waiting for the interrogation to begin. Some things I may choose not to answer if its confidential or too personal but, go ahead. So what do you want to know about me? But before that, let me ask you something. And I want you to answer truthfully. She paused as she lifted her head and sitting upright. Why should I trust you? How do I know you won’t betray me? Do you see me as a monster, a mindless beast? She waited patiently swishing her tail before she asked.
@aria-hellhound
Thatch watched as she sniffed to the mug and he frowned slightly, but didn’t comment on it, even though it hurt his pride as cook that someone might think he tried to poison them. He would never waste food on poison it. Never.
He waited in silence for her to finish, just sitting there. As she moved, he sighed lightly inwards. This was not going to be that easy, but he could give it a try. “You’re welcome,” he smiled to her.
“I know the people in the galley, but I don’t now you and I like meeting new people,” he said, answering her question, the smile still present on his face. He leaned back, eyes staring at the sky.
“Since you’re going to stay for a while, I thought we should get to know each other a little. I don’t ask for anything else than a chance to prove I’m not going to hurt or betray you. I truly think we can become friends,” he said, looking at her.

As she finished the chicken leg she crunched down on the bone to get at the bone marrow. Most people would normally cringe at the sight of such a disgusting feat. Hence, the reason why she went off to eat on her own. She momentarily stopped eating as she sensed someone approaching. Aria looked up at the fourth division commander that sat beside her. She stared at him for a good while deciding whether of not to accept the offered beverage. [Would he try to poison me? He couldn’t be that stupid, could he? After all, Shanks said I could trust these pirates.] She moved closer to sniff at the liquid in the mug. She shifted into a standing position and took a few licks of the drink. After she deemed it safe to drink she drank more. After she finished she sat back down and continued to stare at the pirate sitting beside her. She backed away slightly feeling uncomfortable being so close to a stranger. The scent of food stained his clothes. She waited since it seemed like he wanted to say something but, was holding back waiting for her to finish. “So, why did you seek me out when everyone else is in the galley eating? Thank you for the drink by the way.”
@aria-hellhound
Thatch spotted Marco and Aria coming into the galley and he smiled brightly. Seemed she was fine and it was a relief. He just hoped she would eat something, as she had missed breakfast. Hoping she would come sit with them, Thatch made a free spot.
It was kind of cute and funny seeing her in her hell-hound form put food on the plate, but it also told Thatch she had done this several times already. This meant they weren’t the only ones she didn’t show her human form to.
Thatch frowned as she didn’t come and sit with them, but found an empty spot somewhere else. “Is it because she doesn’t want people see her eat? She shouldn’t be that shy. I mean, she cant be worse than most of the crew,” he said and looked at those who had no manners whatsoever.
“Maybe it’s a trust issue? She seems to not have faith in us,” Izo mused.
“How can she get to know us, when she doesn’t give us a chance? She should at least try. For her own sake. Being alone and only rely on yourself is too hard on your mind. Not even Dracule Mihawk keeps to himself all the time,” Thatch said, crossing his arms and pouted lightly. As if he was offended by her not wanting to sit with them
Izo chuckled. “Then why don’t you go to her and show you want to get to know her?”
Thatch nodded and grabbed his mug, having finished lunch already. “I’ll do just that,” he said and left them. He walked to her and sat down next to her, having grabbed a large mug on his way and placed it in front of her. “Thought you might get thirsty,” he said with a bright smile.

Such a creative idea, I love it.
giving birth
A fairy isn’t born like a human baby is known to be born. While the fairies indeed have sex and enjoy the intimacy like humans would (or wouldn’t) enjoy it, female fairies can’t get pregnant.
Instead a fairy is born out of love and magic.
The most common way a fairy is born is still with the love between two fairy lovers, however the gender doesn’t matter and there are even fairies who weren’t born due to the love between two people but due to the love of a fairy towards something or someone, like the love towards their home, the love towards their season, court, a certain place, etc.
What is indeed requiered is the magic of the fairies involved. When a fairy is born it is given the love and magic of their parents into their soul, to create the newborn. A healthy fairy won’t have problems and regenerates the magic in about some months, but one who is ill can have serious health problems by giving birth. For example the former summer queen Rouge died by giving birth to her son.
When a fairy is born a small seed appears next to the parents out of nowhere, solely created by the love and magic of their parents. It doesn’t happen due to will, but just when the wish is strong enough combined with a certain level of magic and love. The color of the seed is always different, but normally stands in reference to the parent’s magic.
After a moment the seed cracks and a flower grows into full bloom. There isn’t the need to be solid ground, neither earth. Wherever the process is going the flower grows in mere minutes until it blooms and reveales the newborn. After the parents take their child into their arms an event that’s refearing to the newborn’s magic appears and takes the flower with it.
The process for the flower to grow can take from one minute up to around two hours. It’s said that the longer the flower grows the stronger the child will be.
Such a flower who gives birth to a fairy is called fairy bloom.

Name: Aria “Hell-Butterfly” Age: 150 yrs. DoB: December 6 Court: Summer
Personaility: Aria doesn’t trust humans since she was trapped by one once and nearly suffocated. To others it seems like she’s cold but, she’s a shy wallflower. She's very blunt and to the point.
Magic/Powers: Her magic is based on fire and poison alchemy, poison making, medicinal herb remedies and illusion spellcasting. She can also become the size of a normal human when she wants.
Weapon of Choice: Two twin purple sword blades and a purple and silver bow. Her weapons are covered in a paralyzing and toxic poison that only she is immune to and can wield. She only fights if she or her friends are threatened.
Wings: Her wings change color based on the season. Her wings can produce toxic dust to poison or paralyze her foes based on the different seasons. Hobbies: She grows her own garden of fresh vegetables, fruit trees and bushes and medicinal herbs. She also cares for injured insects and gives them shelter if it rains.
By birthright she belongs to the Summer Court. Before the fall of the Winter Court, Aria lived on her own since she wanted her own space. She has a friend currently residing in the Summer Court by the name of Thatch from the former Winter Court that she visits often to share forest tea (strawberry, raspberry and hibiscus flavored), black berry biscuits and strawberry tarts, two of her specialties. She wishes to abolish the differences between courts and hopes one day all seasonal realms will unite in harmony.

As she followed Marco to the galley he saw her body became invisible. “You're safe. No one will hurt you, yoi.” She became visible again. But, everyone won't accept me here either, Phoenix. Even you must know that devil fruit users are looked down upon as freaks and monsters. People fear those that are different. Marco was silent knowing that this was true. He had been called horrible names when he had been younger in the past, something he had buried. “People fear what they don't understand, yoi. Aside from myself, Jozu and Pops are treated no differently. I assure you everyone on the crew understands and will accept you Aria, yoi.” You say that but, you don't know that for sure. I’m not used to interacting with others. I prefer to keep to myself anyway. She looked down at the deck.
“You should at least give us a chance to earn your trust. We want you feel accepted as part of the family, yoi.” I will consider trying to be open to the idea. She walked down toward the front table displaying all types of foods. “Feel free to eat whatever you want, Aria. There's plenty of food to go around, yoi.” She nodded as she sniffed at everything before grabbing a plate in her mouth. She placed it on the ground and used her snout to nudge some fish and a chicken leg onto the plate. Then, grabbed the piece of sea king meat and placed it on her plate. She lifted the plate in her jaw and walked back out on deck with the plate of food balanced in her mouth. “She’s not going to eat with us, Marco?” Izo asked as he frowned. Marco shrugged. She found an empty spot on deck and began tearing into the meat like a wolf tears into its prey.
@aria-hellhound
Thatch was on his way to Whitebeard to ask if he needed something. He stopped in front of the door, hearing voices. Marco was there too, listening. He didn’t want to eavesdrop, he knew it was not polite, but the second voice belonged to Aria and it sounded somewhat sad. His heart sunk at her words, but now he did at least know why she shied away from them.
“You know what to do, yoi?” Marco whispered.
Nodding Thatch sighed silently. This wouldn’t be easy, but it was not impossible Just look at Namur, who also had seen himself as a monster and been isolated at the beginning. Sure, he wasn’t as social as Thatch and others, but he didn’t shy way anymore. Also Kaido might prove to be a problem, but they could handle it. After all, they were the Whitebeard Pirates.
“Still, we should thread with cautious,” Thatch whispered, as they walked away.
Marco chuckled. “You walk with cautious? I got to see that, yoi.”
“Oi,” Thatch said offended and pouted. “I can do that if necessary. Well, I’m off to bed. Got to make breakfast for you idiots tomorrow,” he teased, earning a push form Marco. This was just normal brotherly teasing between those two.
Thatch was doing preps for lunch, after breakfast had been served and he was not in a good mood. He hadn’t seen Aria this morning and it worried him. Still Marco had assured she might just have been too tired and slept in, so she would be there later.
So Thatch had made sure to keep some breakfast for her, just in case. though as time passed, Thatch had asked Izo, Marco and others to go look for her, just in case she was not able to move or in pain or worse. After last day, he didn’t want to take a risk and Marco agreed this time.

She sat upright taking a deep breath. Dizziness clouded her senses. “Easy, dear.” The nurse said. Where am I? She looked around as she shifted her neck side to side since it felt stiff. “You passed out. You’re in the medical bay. I’m one of the head nurses. My name’s Lyla.” She looked around and her eyes landed on Marco’s form. “He wouldn’t leave your side.” He had fallen asleep in the nearby chair. She swung her legs over the bed and nudged the door open. “Where do you think you’re going, yoi?” She wrinkled her snout. I don’t like the smell of antiseptic. It hurts my nose since it’s sensitive. I’d like to go talk to Whitebeard about something.
…You don’t know me, what I’ve done. I’m not worthy of being your daughter or nakama. She looked down. “I can understand that you’re afraid to completely trust anyone due to your line of work.” She nods. I’ve learned that if I’m always seen as a monster, it’s better to be what I am perceived as. Forming bonds is dangerous in my line of work, you never know who you can trust. You seem like a decent pirate and my brother has respect for you. Kaido, however is a different story. Marco stood outside of Whitebeard’s cabin as his eyes narrowed. “Who attacked you to cause such wounds my dear?” Whitebeard asked already knowing the answer. Kaido sent some of his men after me to convince me to join his crew. And with that Aria yawned. “You should head off to bed, you look exhausted, daughter.” She nodded. Mn. Captain, may I sleep here tonight? I’m accustomed to sleeping with others. He rested his hand on his chin. “Why not with one of my sons?” He questioned. And as it is now, I don’t want to inconvenience them. He smiles. “Just for tonight, I will find someone suitable for you bed down with tomorrow, Aria.” She nodded and walked near the corner of the room and shut her eyes.
She sleeps behind a box in Pop’s room uncaring that she probably should make her presence known to those who are looking for her. “It’s time to get up, Aria. You know they’re looking for you don’t you?” She growled. Whitebeard chuckled. “I’ve let you sleep in long enough, brat.” She got up and stretched out like a dog. “Did you sleep in your zoan form all night?” She nods. It’s easier to smell an intruder. Just then Izo walked in. “Pops, we can’t find, Aria anywhere-” Izo noticed a black fluffy tail sticking out from behind a wooden crate. [She slept here last night?] “Son, go bring Marco and Thatch here, please. Izo nodded and headed to the deck to find the two commanders. Aria had been asked to leave the room for a little while. She wandered onto the deck looking for a warm place to rest.
Marco was the first to arrive. “Marco, it would seem Aria likes sleeping in the company of others. And I was thinking seeing as you’re also a zoan type, maybe-?” “I get what you’re saying, Pops. It would be fine with me for now.” Marco walked out of the room leaving to find Aria. He found her on the top of the whale’s head basking in the sun. “Well it’s past noon so you already missed breakfast, yoi.” She shrugs. That’s fine, I usually don’t eat breakfast. Izo stared at her as if she were crazy. “That’s not healthy. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yoi.” He led her to the galley for lunch. She headed toward the kitchen to see what was available to eat.
Thatch was shocked that she had read his mind and frowned. He didn’t like that at all and he made a not to talk to her about reading people’s mind without permission. Listening to her, he wondered just how complex her life was and if any of this would endanger his family. However, first thing first and that was to make sure the ship was secured.
He went tot he railing, working on the rigs, while calling out orders to the others around. He failed to see that one of the rigs came loose and yelped as he was pushed aside. Cursing, he got onto his feet and rushed next to Marco. “Shit,” he said, following Marco, as he brought her to the infirmary. “Marco … Do you think we can help her? I mean, she seems to need it, but will she allow it?” he asked.
Marco sighed. “You’re the one who can make people open up, whether they want it or not, so you tell me? We just met her, so I don’t know, yoi,” he said, opening the door to the infirmary. “Oi badly wounded Devil’s Fruit user, Zoan type. She’s our new sister, though she doesn’t really want to, yoi,” he said tot he nurses in there and placed Aria on a bed.
“I will make her feel at home,” Thatch said determined, as Marco and he was shushed out. Marco smiled at that statement, knowing Thatch would make it his job to make her happy and trust them.

Of course I don’t doubt my brother, Thatch. She smirked as she saw his startled face. Did you know I have telepathy? I can read other’s minds. As for the thing I desire… it’s a secret. She turned to Whitebeard. I think we need to have a private talk about some things Newgate before you decide to accept me. Phoenix, you stay as well. He nodded as the rest of the crew dispersed. As they left Izo muttered to Haruta. “I really hope she stays, I like her. She’d be an excellent addition to the crew since she’s really good with swords and bow and arrow. Could be handy to have another sniper on the crew.” Izo smiled.
“So what is it you’d like to discuss, Aria?” Whitebeard asked. She walked over and sat in front of him. I do like it here but… I do have obligations and commitments. I don’t plan to stop my missions since the pay’s pretty good and I like what I do. Will that be a problem? If it is, I must decline your offer to join your crew. Aria replied. “I’m sure we can work something out.” That’s good. Can you take me to the room I’ll be staying? I’ve had a long journey and could use rest. I’m exhausted.
As Marco led her to the room she noticed that one of the rigs had come loose and was about to hit the fourth commander. She rushed over, shoving him out of the way taking the hit. Her body was flung against the side of one of the cabins as she made an injured whimper from the impact. She was unconscious. As the rain began to pour down, random cuts appeared as she began to bleed out. Marco knelt down inspecting her form. “Pops! It looks like she was injured previously before she arrived here, yoi. The damage looks extensive, yoi.” “She must have been covering her severe injuries with haki. Better get her to Doc.” Whitebeard commanded. Marco lifted her zoan form over his shoulder carrying her off to the infirmary. “I wonder who attacked her or who had she been fighting? Those wounds look fairly deep.”
Thatch was now even more curious to get to know her better. Could she really be more trouble than him? As she showed them her Zoan form, he tilted his head. Sure it was a beautiful … creature(?), but why did she fuss so much about it? Being invisible sure had it’s good sides, especially for an assassin, but Shanks had said she was among good people, if she ever was to cross their path. So why not just show herself right away? Did she doubt her brother?
He smiled happily to hear that she was the one saving Izo from the marines. It was finally good to know the person who had saved his brother. He frowned, when he heard that what she desired was unobtainable. What could she desire that couldn’t be giving?
When she talked about the weather changing, he looked at Marco, who gave a short nod, telling that she was right. It was enough for him. He had to get to know more about Zoan Devil’s Fruits. they seemed interesting.
“Well, we can wait with seeing your human form. First thing first. We should get ready for the storm, find you a room and dinner. I bet the kitchen is a mess,” Thatch grinned, trying to make her feel comfortable. Sure he wanted to see her human form, but why press on, if she din’t like it?
“You don’t want to see her human form?” Speed Jiru asked surprised.
“Sure I want, but not under these conditions and circumstances. Aria will have to learn to trust us first. I don’t want to only see her shortly,” he said, looking at Aria.
“You got a point, brother. Oi, someone find a nurse. I think Thatch is getting sick. He can use his brains for other things than food and drinking,” Vista teased, making Thatch pout lightly, as the big kid he was.
“That’s enough. Thatch is right, we should prepare for the storm. It’s not going to be an easy one, yoi,” Marco said, cutting the teasing short.
