uniform concept - domino high

Yugi and Atem can either be treated as two separate people in this au or maintain the original concept of both of them inhabiting Yugi’s body which changes depending on who’s the one in control.

Some basic stats:

Pitching

Yugi: balls pitched will have higher accuracy, and the types of balls pitched will also increase. However, Yugi’s fastballs are not the best due to a lack in power. This means all of Yugi’s pitched balls will be slower than Atem’s. Most aggressive only when pitching.

Atem: balls pitched will have higher speed but less ball control. This means Atem has a decrease in accuracy when pitching, and the types of balls he can pitch are less than Yugi’s. Since Atem’s pitches have more power behind them, it is more physically taxing and has a higher chance of injury.

Batting/Running

Yugi: less strength means balls don’t fly as much. And because of his smaller stature (being the shortest on the team), he’s not able to run as fast as well and doesn’t have as much reach when batting.

Atem: significant increase in strength, can bat farther. Has a slight increase in stature so has more reach when batting. Has innate physical abilities and prowess so he is able to run faster and has a faster reaction time.

Personality/Other skills

Yugi: more observant and tends to plan more meticulously. Compares themselves to Atem due to Atem being able to be pitcher and a good batter. Doesn’t take as much initiative, leaves the talking to Atem. Not easily provoked, but when they are mad, their power will increase.

Atem: observant as well, is more capable of adapting on the spot. Has pretty high confidence in their own abilities, and is more assertive. Can get provoked easily. Once they reach a certain level of mad, their power and speed increase, but their accuracy in pitching decreases more. However, their batting accuracy actually increases, thus becoming even more of a threat as a batter.

Extra quirks if two people inhabit one body: they can talk to each other and create plans. But only one person can be in control of the physical body at a time, so their physical abilities don’t technically overlap or cancel out.

(Playable roles other than main positions have yet to be fleshed out.)
