This nayika is the one who actually in dance is angry at the hero. They fought with each other, a very serious fight. The reasons can be different. It could be envy or maybe doubts. The hero can be right, he wasn't having an affair with another. The girl mistook him or maybe the guy did not come at the scheduled location on time, hence the heroine is now annoyed and rebukes him.

This could also be used as a way to present miscommunication between partners that leads to differences and fights.

Desi Fashion: Inspo + Romance Tropes

Bollywood clichés, but make it fashion.

Outfit: 24-kali anarkali or peshwaz with extravagant zari work, opulently covered in jewels. Do not forget the passa/jhoomar. Gold is an evergreen choice of color, but any rich color that complements your radiance will be good to go.

Appropriate for: Performing classical dance in the imperial court in front of the emperor, who’s absolutely smitten at this point.

A Tourist in Delhi 📷

My (mostly) unedited attempts at capturing the Qutub Minar from my trip to the city earlier this year.

Delhi is a peculiar place. It is everything, all at once. I’ve never seen a city with a character as varied as this one. Chaos and calm, DLF buildings and old world charm.

I love how almost no one who lives in Delhi is actually from Delhi but somehow anyone can call it their own. Is anyone visiting Delhi ever really a tourist? I felt like I’ve already lived several lives here. I probably know more about Delhi than the place I actually live in.

Looking at this post here you might assume I loved Delhi. No, I actually hated it. But that’s the thing about it. You can love it, you can hate it, but you can never ever forget it. I love it in a twisted way. Like, I hate it but I’m obsessed. I do not know how to put it into words, I am not a poet.
