let it be known that overture kicked my lies of p and by extension Pinocchio fixation back in gear to the degree that I bought the English translation of the original Pinocchio to read while I travel in a couple weeks

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Okay! I've finally actually finished the DLC so I get to scream about it, oh my goodness, I am SO happy about this DLC, 1000000% worth the wait, the amount of lore drop is insane, we get cool drip, cool weapons, cool fights, ough. But we all know why I'm here (spoilers below of course)

The Arlecchino fight was BEAUTIFUL! I am so happy that they did it this way, the wide open field, a literal pool of blood for my king, Arlecchino the Blood Artist. He had such an insane, fast moveset that I LOVED, but more than that, his appearance? actually hearing his voice with visuals too? ohhhhh man, like look at this shit!

He looks bad ass at the start, and then we get the phase transition? lights himself aflame and gets even more badass! Some other screenshot in there because one, big story moment and two, can we appreciate how pretty Lea is? like wow, I love love love this artstyle, everyone looks so good! Did I feel some justified anger towards my goat my king Arlecchino? yeah maybe, but it's okay! I got my fight and they've got the rematch feature so if I want I can just fight him over and over! Holy smokes, this company can have all my money always, also oh man, that entire DLC I was like noooo Romeo, my baby :(

I think an Arlecchino fight would've been so fucking cool, like I mean I get that obviously it would've been hard to do with the game set up how it is, since we've got Romeo using the Puppet Ripper which I'm pretty sure we've reached the conclusion of that being Arlecchino's weapon of choice AND we already have Nameless Puppet so that's like our super hard technically optional puppet boss or whatever but ugh! It could've been so fun even to watch a cutscene of him yanking the giant thing pinning him to the wall out of his chest, ripping himself free and having a super janky ass moveset, gross delays because of said jankiness that comes from being a partially destroyed puppet. Only thing leaving that impossible would be the fact that the room you find him in is itty bitty, oh well
