“Hey, Buck?” Ella whispered, looking at her husband.

“Always. But I feel like I could be careless and my husband would still make sure nothing happens to me. He’s kinda badass.” Ella smiled, looking up at him and giggling.

Ella giggled, kissing Bucky’s nose. “And so are you.”

Ella smiled, “and?” She loves his little bits of jealousy.

“And he found me, and has been sending me flowers and diamonds and guns ever since. He told me I’d be his one day,” Ella laughed and frowned when she noticed he was frowning. “What?”

Ella nodded, “His name is Joker. I swear to you, it’s so strange, but he’s real, Buck.” She sighed, “I worked at the old bar again while the kids were in school.”

Ella’s head turned to face him and she sighed, “So I met somebody that I never thought was real...thought he was made up in a Comic Book. And he seems to be quite infatuated with me.”

Ella pressed her lips to his jaw, “You’re so handsome.” She whispered, smiling and nudging her nose against his cheek.

Ella shook her head, letting him get comfortable before getting up and pulling on her underwear, followed by his shirt.

“So? What difference is boxers going to make?” Ella laughed, finding a movie and turning it on, climbing back on the couch and cuddling up to him.

Ella looked around before stopping to turn to him. “Nope. Get up and find ‘em, Mr. Barnes.”

Ella stood, shaking her head when Bucky whistled at her. “You act like you’ve never seen me before,” She laughed, looking for a movie with red cheeks.

Ella smiled, nodding and shifting to let him lay on the couch, her head resting on his chest. “Of course I am.”

“You do.” Ella assured him, nudging his nose with hers and shivering a bit from the cold air from the air conditioning.

Ella brushed her thumb across his cheekbone, “Almost twenty years...we’ve been married for almost twenty years, James.”

“I love the effort babe, but honestly, sex and movies sounds so much better than going out.” She grinned, giggling a bit and looking up at him with her bright eyes.

Ella smiled softly, “I love you, Buck. What exactly did you have planned for tonight?” Ella asked, pulling back and looking up at him.
