A prospective design for the Dispatcher in Armored Jazz Force. If I get demand for it, I’ll upload a better-quality scan of the image later.

February update
I’ve managed to get my code and objects back to roughly where they were before. I have a few next steps to take care of, including doors and entering new areas/levels. I’ll try to provide some screenshots of how things are looking in the coming days.

Rumors of my death...
... have been greatly exaggerated. A little over 6 months ago, I had a big upheaval in my life. It was necessary, and for my own good, but I still felt bad about doing it. The following months were difficult, both physically and emotionally, and I’m glad to have the friends I do, both irl and online.
I’m still working on Armored Jazz Force. I was unhappy with the Rigidbody2D method of moving the character, as it felt too imprecise for a platformer control, and have recently rebuilt the core movement. This has, expectedly, broken the game, and I’m cobbling it back together to something resembling what it was, only with superior controls.
To my tumblr friends, who I didn’t talk to anywhere else, I apologize for my absence. I will resume updates for Armored Jazz Force, either weekly or monthly, depending on progress. To ensure I have time to work on Armored Jazz Force, I will not be working on art much, or regularly, except those pieces that are important for the game.
And, if you’re still reading here, thank you for caring, and for being here.

Latest little update to Armored Jazz Force. I have moving enemies. I must confess, there’s a bit of cobbling together behind the scenes to get the enemy to operate correctly with regards to the ground, but baby steps. Besides, what’s a production without a bit of duct tape and bobby pins where you can’t see them?

Still no updates, due to an illness that’s gradually succumbing to medical treatment and my immune system. The angel of mercy adding heat and compression to my congested, belabored chest is Sarabi.
The illustration was made in Fire Alpaca.

Due to reasons beyond my control, I have not been able to make substantial progress on Armored Jazz Force for this week’s update. I apologize to the few following this game’s progress.

I’m done streaming for tonight. This is the fruits of my labor. Meet the Crows from Armored Jazz Force. These are the basic flying enemies, spreading Chaos wherever they go.

For my game project, I’m having trouble deciding. For the neutral/idle stance, should the player hold their sonic pistol at high ready (a.k.a. Hollywood ready), or at Low-Ready?

The fruits of some practice before work today. While not exactly where I want it to be, I think this has come forward from some of the previous poses I’ve posted. I just need to keep practicing anatomy and action poses.
