The week of Sardonyx is really good and I love how it ends, but I'm just reminded of how the fandom tried to pin all the blame on Pearl or Garnet, when the situation was far more complicated than that. Like every conflict in the show, communication is the greatest barrier. Garnet doesn't want to talk to Pearl, and Pearl keeps saying the wrong things. It's only after they reveal their true feelings that they're able to make amends. Pearl fucked up and Garnet has every right to be mad at her, but there were communication issues on both ends. It wouldn't have been so important if they weren't as close, but as teammates, family, it's important for them to talk to each other.
