What program are you using for the comic?

Krita for drawing and Miro (an online whiteboard) for putting everything together

a little update on how the comic is coming along. this is the amount of pages i have at the moment and still have some to add (don't know how many tbh)

I wonder very much how the wanderer feels about mauric and pauk’s deaths!! very much curious!!!!

He didn't witness Maric's death (I think he was with Fern at the moment) and found out about it with everyone else. Maric was a person he wished he never stumbled upon so all he felt was relief. His death meant that he can finilly flee the woods safely and start a new adventure like none of this ever happened.

Now Pauk's death is a whole different story.

First of all because The Wanderer is the one who killed him. It was self-defence of course he would've never killed anyone intentionally, but it doesn't make it any easier for him.

They haven't seen each other for a year and The Wanderer honestly thought that Pauk is an okay guy and can eventually find a way to escape and start a better life. They even had a few somewhat friendly conversations, he'd never seen Pauk as a threat.

Doesn't mean that Pauk's attempt to kill him felt like a betrayal but it for sure was unexpected and had a bitter aftertaste. Let alone the whole killing thing was a traumatizing experience, he's an asshole not a murderer and tries to stay as far from death and violence as he possibly can.

Because of the War in Ukraine my life turned out to be not exactly something I was ready for physically and mentally and now surviving on my own (with my lovely dog!) is getting really hard

i keep getting notes on that "two types of kittens" post and most of them are people showing this post to each other saying "it's us!!" or "it's them it's them you know who" and it's honestly so adorable. makes me happy every time i see it

Him!

It's one of the major characters from the story I'm writing (called Forest Manuscripts), he's a wandering musician and a thief. He doesn't use any name so I just call him "The Wanderer". You can find more information about using his name tag (I'll leave it below)

(Specifically in that drawing that was an older version of him so sadly in the main story he has no mustache)

i love all of them equally of course (and since I try to work on the story evenly they all have a somewhat the same level of development)

but lately I've been thinking a lot about Pablo and Ethan so I suppose I can say they are my favorite at the moment

Are you fight, flight or freeze?

depends on a situation but luckily most of the time it's fight

but that kind of fight when for some reason your emotional brain shuts down and you're on a complete autopilot and then only when it's over you start freaking out

Is there any characters you have planned/made, but not yet revealed. Or characters what was made, but you decided to not use them

I think you've seen most of the important characters at least once here but I do still have a few that I don't want to/can't show yet.

I won't be able to reveal them here but I can show you this woman

And for the characters that I decided not to use

Gideon and Mossy. I liked their designs but they stopped being useful for the story at some point so I cut them out

could you tell more about your oc worlds? maybe how they function and what they are about, would be interesting to hear!

Oh i don't even know where to begin but I think I can finally tell a bit about their religion (since it's a Medieval story it's a big part of their world)

So they have three Gods that they worship.

They believe that they created the earth and the sky and then created animals (as we know them)

And little animals were eating grass, bigger animals were eating smaller animals, then bigger animals were dying and turning into grass. One day they got bored of the cycle, they wanted more but didn't know where to look for it.

So each of them decided to give these animals one gift.

The first God gave them the ability to think, now they had thoughts and desires.

The second God gave them the ability to speak, now they could share with others what they want and feel.

Lastly the third God game them the ability to stand up and move freely so together they could work and achieve their goals.

Now that they had all of this they could move towards creating their own Paradise on Earth.

Unfortunately not all of the creatures had the same idea. One of them didn't like the fact that now he had to live in peace with those that were just food for him before so he started using his new abilities to gain power, hunt smaller animals and encourage other big animals to do the same. (He's the equivalent of the Devil but called the Beast)

Gods didn't like it so they turned him (and all who followed him) back into lesser animals and plants but his ideas didn't just disappear, now The Beast was in everything that animals consume.

So now if animals live life to create peace and improve the world they get to be reborn and continue and if they succumb to the ideas of going wild and creating chaos after their death they will also become lesser animals and plants for others to consume.

Back again to ask strange questions, bunk beds or regular

bunk beds! never had a sibling but you can sleep high above the ground and also have a desk or/and a wardrobe there, sounds awesome

i need to buy myself a bunk bed one day and turn it into a fortress... (or a ship). doesn't even have to be adult sized, I'm tiny
