There is no power and no strength except with Allah, and we worship none but Him. From Him (alone) come all blessings and favours, and all good praise is due to Him. There is no god but Allah and we make our worship purely for Him (alone) however much the disbelievers may hate that. O Allah, none can withhold what You give and none can give what You withhold, and no wealth or majesty can benefit anyone for from You is all wealth and majesty.”
• After the Maghrib and Fajr prayers he should say, as well as the words mentioned above: La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd yuhyi wa yumeet wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer ten times.
Translation: “There is no God but Allah alone, with no partner or associate, His is the Dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life and gives death, and He has power over all things) ten times.”
• Then Subhan Allah 33x (Glory be to Allah) • wa’l-hamdu Lillah 33x (Praise be to Allah) • wa Allahu akbar 33x (Allāh is most Great)
To complete one hundred he should say:
“La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shayin qadeer.”
Translation: “There is no god but Allah Alone, with no partner or associate His is the sovereignty and to Him be praise, and He is Able to do all things.”
Then to recite Ayat al-Kursi,then for each of them to recite Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, Qul a’oodhu bi Rabbi’l-Falaq and Qul a’oodhu bi Rabbi’l-Nas [i.e., the last three surahs of the Quran].
After Maghrib and Fajr one should repeat Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, Qul a’oodhu bi Rabbi’l-Falaq and Qul a’oodhu bi Rabbi’l-Nas three times.

When is it Laylatul Qadr?
By Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan (hafidhahullaah)
All praise is due to Allah, and may the peace and salutations of Allah be upon his Messenger, his family and companions.
Certainly, the last 10 days of Ramadan are blessed. From their virtues, is that Laylatul Qadr is most likely to fall within them. It is the night that Allah has emphasized its affair in his Book and the Prophet encouraged standing in prayer on it.
He (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Whoever stands and prays on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
Allah said about it in the Quran:
“The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months.”
(Surat Al-Qadr, 3)
Performing good deeds on this night is better than performing good deeds for a thousand months. This is for he whom Allah makes successful.
The Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said
“Whoever stays up and prays on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and in the hope of reward..”
Meaning, faith in its virtues and hope in seeking its reward which has been promised for it.
The Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said
“Whoever stays up and prays on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
Allah has hidden this night in this month, however it is most correctly viewed that it would fall in the odd last 10 nights, on 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th. However, the more correctly according to the people of knowledge is it will fall on the 27th night of Ramadan. Nevertheless, whomever stands in prayer on these nights, while believing in its virtue and seeking its reward has obtain great goodness. Indeed Allah grants it to whomsoever he wills.
As for the one who stands to pray on some nights and leaves other nights then he may not have attained Laylatul-Qadr because it may have fallen on a day that he abandoned praying.
This night has many virtues.
Firstly: It is the night which the Quran was revealed down. Allah said,
“Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr.”
(Surat Al-Qadr, 1)
Secondly: It is better than a thousand months.
Thirdly: It is the night that yearly actions and fates are decreed. Actions, fates and lifespans are decreed in the Preserved Tablets fifty thousand years before the creation of the heavens.
However that is a general decree, whereas on this night specific decrees are made. Allah decrees what will happen in the year. This is why it is called ‘the Night of Decree’ Allah said,
“Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainment.”
(Surat Ad-Dukhān, 4)
Fourthly: Whoever stays up and prays on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and in hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
Great virtues are gathered in this night. It is a blessed and virtuous night. It is a night of decree and its [true] value is only known by Allah. This night recurs for us every Ramadan. Every Ramadan that arrives, it has a Laylat al-Qadr in it. This is from the blessing of Allah. So what do you think about the one who Allah has blessed to attain Laylat al-Qadrevery year? The one who Allah has made successful to attain it every year! This is a great and generous reward.

This touched my heart: Never underestimate Allahs mercy and power: A young man' mother was hospitalized. وأدخلت للعناية المركزه She was put in intensive care. وفي يوم من الأيام صارحه الأطباء A few days later, the doctors told him the truth. بأن حال والدته ميؤوس منها وأنها في أي لحظة تفارق الحياة Her condition was hopeless, she could expire at any moment. وخرج من عند أمه هائما على وجهه He left from the hospital distraught about his mother وفي طريق عودته لزيارة والدته On his way, returning to visit his mother وقف في محطة البنزين He stopped at a gas station وهو ينتظر العامل ليضع البنزين في سيارته As he was waiting for the attendant to fill up his tank رأى تحت قطعة كرتون قطة قد ولدت قططا صغاراً He noticed that a cat had given birth to her kittens under a cardboard box وهم لا يستطيعون المشي They could barely walk فتساءل!!!!! He pondered!!!! من يأتي لهم بالطعام وهم في هذه الحال؟ فدخل للبقالة Who would feed them under these circumstances, and went in to the store واشترى تونة He bought tuna (a type of fish), وفتح العلبة ووضعها للقطة وانصرف للمستشفى opened the can for them and continued on his way to the hospital. وعندما قدم للعناية مكان تنويم أمه When he entered the intensive care unit لم يجدها على سريرها فوقع ما في يده His mother wasn't there anymore, he dropped what was in his hands, فاسترجع وسأل الممرضة and rushed to ask the nurse أين فلانة؟ Where is she? فقالت تحسنت حالتها فأخرجناها للغرفة المجاورة She said: she got better, so we moved her to the next room فذهب لها He went to his mother فوجدها قد أفاقت من غيبوبتها Whom he found fully alert فسلم عليها وسألها He greeted her and asked what happened فقالت أنها رأت وهي مغمى عليها She said that she saw while she was unconscious قطة وأولادها رافعين أيديهم يدعون الله لها A cat and her kittens with their hands extended towards the heavens praying for her فتعجب الشاب The young man stood there in amazement فسبحان من وسعت رحمته كل شيء Praise to the one who's compassion is all encompassing سبحان الله الصدقةدفعت بلاء بإذن الله Praise to Allah, alms giving repels calamities, by Allah's permission (داووا مرضاكم بالصدقه) (Heal your sick through alms giving) هذه فقط علبة تونه والرسول صلى الله عليه واله وسلم قال: This is just a can of tuna the Prophet (PABUH) says: (protect yourselves from the hell fire even with a half a date). ( إتقوا النار ولو بشق تمره) سبحان الله Suhbana Allah Make this your first act of generosity حتى لو مشغول إرسلها" Even if you are busy, share it to as many people as you can (لاإله إلا الله) Lailahaillaallah ? "يارب فرج هم من ينشره" Oh! Allah! Ease the burdens of whoever share this message.

Salam, some time ago I started extracting hadiths that belong to the Collection of Imam al-Bukhari out of a website to use it for a smartphone app I was planning. I also thought why not use that to also generate some pdf’s out of it. So thats what I have done here. There is one pdf containing all the books from Sahih al-Bukhari and there is also one pdf for each book of the collection. It only includes the hadith in the english translation, also there is the reference for each hadith (Hadith number of total collection & hadith number in that specific book). When you donwload the pdf you will be able to search through the document to find the hadiths that contain the word or exact phrase you are looking for. In sha Allah someone will benefit out of this. Anyway if you have any remarks or have found something that needs to be corrected, let me know.

10 Easy Ibadaat for Women in Ramadan on their Menses / Periods
10 Easy Ibadaat for Women in Ramadan on their Menses / Periods ❤Bismillah Rabbi Zidnee Ilman “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.” What is Ibadah?! The term “Ibadah” (worship) in Islam is not only confined to the pillars of Islam as it comprises many other goodly aspects. Allah [Exalted be His mention] says [what means]: “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” {Surat Adh-Dhariyat 51: Verse: 56} Many people mistakenly understand the term “worship” to mean living an ascetic way of life. This is not true at all. In Islam, worship is not [only] restricted to prayer, going to the masjid, giving in charity, or going for Hajj, as one can even turn permissible acts such as sleeping, eating, drinking, going to work, etc. into an act of worship. How is that?! By having a good intention! So, if one sleeps with the intention to rest his body so he can have more energy to worship Allah then this is a good intention. If one goes to work so he can provide for his family and those under his care, then this is a good intention which he will be rewarded for. Mu’aadh (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I sleep and I get up (to pray at night), and I seek reward for my sleep as I seek reward for my getting up. [Narrated by al-Bukhari] The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “You will never spend anything that you spend for the sake of Allah, but you will be rewarded for it, even the morsel of food that you put in your wife’s mouth.” [Narrated by Al-Bukhari] Sheikh ul-Islam Ibn Tayimah (May Allah have Mercy on him) gave a very comprehensive definition of the word “Ibaadah” as he said: “Al-Ibadah is a collective term for all of the deeds and words which Allah loves and is pleased with [whether] inward or outward.” WHAT CAN I DO DURING MY PERIOD? Many sisters feel that they cannot do much of Ibaadaat while on their monthly period, this is not true. Allah (Exalted be His mention) gave us the blessing of time, we should take advantage of it in doing things that are pleasing to Him. So, here is a list of ten easy Ibaadaat that can be done during the period: 1. Make lots of du’a (supplication) to Allah Being in that state of ritual impurity should not prevent you from making du’a. It is reported from An-Nu’man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported the prophet (Peace & blessing of Allah be upon him) said: “Du’a is worship.” [Abu Dawud] 2. Visit a close family member When you are visiting one of your close family members make sure to have the intention of keeping good ties of kinship between both of you. The prophet (Peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “And he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should unite his ties of kinship.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari] 3. Make lots of Istighfaar (seeking forgiveness from Allah) and dhikr (remembrance of Allah) This can be done when you are cooking, cleaning, going to work, going to the shop, etc. Allah [Exalted be His mention] says [what means]: “O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance.” [Surat Al-Ahzab: 33: Verse: 41] 4. Give Da’wah to Muslims and non-Muslims This can be by sharing an Islamic post on face book, sharing Islamic knowledge in general through media, and most importantly being a good example through your manners, speech and actions. Allah says what means: “And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.” [Surat Fussilat: 41: Verse: 33] And the prophet (Peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Convey from me even if it is (only) one ayah (verse).” [Narrated by al-Bukhari] 5. Read beneficial books Choose books that will help you understand more about Islam, purpose of this life and duties towards our creator. Anas ibn Malik said, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim.” [Sunan Ibn Majah] 6. Visit the sick It is one of the rights upon another Muslim to visit them when they are sick, and not only that, there are great virtues for visiting the sick as mentioned by our beloved Prophet (Peace & blessings of Allah be upon him): “When the Muslim visits his (sick) Muslim brother, he is harvesting the fruit of paradise until he returns.” [Narrated by Muslim]. This would also enable us to be more thankful to Allah for the good health that we have and content with the condition we are in. 7. Listen to the Qur’an frequently Listening to the Qur’an would enable you to prefect your recitation of the Qur’an, help you revise what you memorized, and constantly remembering Allah in your heart and mind. 8. Help others If you see your sister in Islam going through hard circumstances, do what you can to help her. One day if you are in that same position, Allah will bring to you someone who will help you too. 9. Smile in your sister’s face By doing so, we are following the prophet’s sunnah and will be rewarded for it Insha’Allah. 10. Spread the greeting of “Salam” This should be done with those [sisters] we know or never met before. The prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “You will not enter paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I tell you about something which, if you do it, will make you love one another? Greet each other with Salam.” [Muslim] In conclusion, let’s renew our intentions and make sure we are doing all these good deeds sincerely for Allah’s sake and following the footsteps of our beloved prophet Muhammad and his companions (May Allah be pleased with them all). DON'T forget to tagged n shares with your dears ❤

Basics of understanding Islam ♥
Have you been interested in Islam or just wanting to understand the basics of it, but you are not really sure where to start or who to ask? This is a quick little Q&A to help you out ♥
1. What is Islam?
Islam is a way of life.
The word ‘Islam’ means to be in ‘submission’ or to ‘surrender’ to God. Therefore the word Islam is not a noun, it is actually a verb! Anyone who ‘surrenders to God’ is seen as practicing Islam ♥
2. What is a Muslim?
The word ‘Muslim’ means ‘one who submits to God’ ♥ It is an adjective describing the person who practices Islam (ie. s/he surrenders to God) ♥
3. What do Muslims believe?
Muslims understand that there is only One God, and He is Omnipotent and the Creator of All ♥
We do not need a medium to pray to God (ie. We do not need to pray to anything else to get to God), we communicate straight to Him ♥ In Islam the more we pray to God and the more good we do, the closer we can become to Him ♥
In many religions the belief of humans being impure and unable to communicate with God directly, is rejected entirely in Islam ♥
Why would God Create you with His Own Hands, to then call you too dirty and impure to speak to Him?
In Islam, we know God is Merciful ♥
“And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein.” Quran (50:16) ♥
4. Who is ‘Allah’?
‘Allah’ is the Aramaic word for ‘God’ ♥ When a Muslim or anyone says the Name ‘Allah’, they are saying ‘God’ in another language ♥
Allah = God ♥
5. Why do most Muslim girls, especially, cover their hair? What is that called?
The covering of the hair and certain parts of the body is called ‘Hijab’ ♥ The word ‘Hijab’ means ‘veil’ or ‘curtain’ ♥
God Created girls in a certain way and means to protect them from the potential ‘badness’ of men and other outside elements by veiling them ♥ Girls do not need to wear Hijab fully infront of other girls and their close family members, it is only infront of strange men, as it is a ward to potentially being sexually/in other ways used and/or hurt/taken advantage of ♥
For more information about Hijab and the Elevation of Women in Islam, please read my following blog post: http://islam-for-girls.tumblr.com/post/123625392540/islam-brings-elevation-to-the-status-of-women
6. What is the defining characteristic of someone who is truly Muslim?
Peacefulness ♥
“Allah is gentle and loves gentleness in all things.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
“And We have sent you (O Muhammad ) not but as a mercy for the Aalameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)” Quran (21:107)
For more a little more information about Mercy in Islam, please read the following blog post: http://islam-for-girls.tumblr.com/post/145378234040/the-m-in-muslim-stands-for-mercy
7. Why does the media speak so badly about Islam at times?
People would do a lot of things to get ‘buzz’ about their article, their blog/media posts, and just plainly themselves ♥ Islam is a hot topic word these days, and people like to misquote Quranic verses and Hadith to make themselves more popular and/or to stir controversy for their own reasons.
People who understand that they should not believe everything that they hear on T.V. or simply just in the media, will research the topics of confusion themselves and realise that the information on the media is incorrect and created, not for educational purposes, but rather entertainment and popularity ♥
If you are not Muslim but you are reading this blog post for your own educational purposes, I commend you and thank you greatly for your open-mindedness, and May God Reward you ♥
If you wish to understand the so-called ‘Sword Verses’ of the Quran, please read the following blog post: http://islam-for-girls.tumblr.com/post/145999716790/sword-verses-explained-its-by-time-people
Thank you for reading this blog post ♥ I will be God Willing writing another blog posts about the basic practices in Islam next ♥ please keep tuned to find out more about Islam ♥
I hope this message reaches you all in good health, Emaan, and happiness ♥ Ameen ♥
