Two Types of Migraine
Tumblr media
Dr. Arthur Copes is the CEO and CFO of Bio Wellness Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the wellness center, Arthur Copes orchestrates and develops naturopathic patient care. He also treats patients suffering from migraine headaches.
An individual suffering from a migraine goes through several phases. The main phase of migraine headache lasts between 4 and 72 hours. People may experience some warning signs such as sleep disorders and fatigue before this phase. Some people go through visual, speech, and sensory disturbances. They may also suffer from migraines’ lingering effects after an attack. Changes in mood, fatigue, and nausea are some of these lingering symptoms.
Migraines can happen with or without a warning sign which is also called an aura. The symptoms of a migraine with a warning sign or aura are seeing flashing lights or temporary blindness. A person can experience these auras before a headache, and they can be mild or severe. Most people experience migraine without aura, that is, no warning signs. They may experience throbbing pain and headache on only one side of their head. Other symptoms are sensitivity to smell, sound, and light.

Assessing & Treating Adrenal Fatigue Naturally
Tumblr media
Based in Baton Rouge, Dr. Arthur Copes provides solutions to the Louisiana health community, including holistic pathways to ideal body weight and overall wellness. One area of focus for Dr. Arthur Copes and his team is diagnosing and treating adrenal fatigue. Fatigue is a debilitating condition tied to the adrenal glands, which produce a range of hormones that modulate everything from the immune system to the reproductive system. At least one hormone isn’t being produced in sufficient quantities with adrenal insufficiency. Various symptoms may arise, including fatigue, digestive issues, nervousness, aches, and sleep interruption. At the Bio Wellness Center, diagnosis starts with a saliva test that allows adrenal stress levels to be measured. Blood panels assist in ruling out blood cell anemia and other potential culprits. These tests also provide a measure of kidney, pancreas, and liver functioning and help evaluate the overall makeup of the gut. Treating adrenal fatigue also involves evaluating mineral and vitamin deficiencies and incorporating a balanced diet that contains foods linked to genetic needs. In addition, hormonal support and exercise modalities are incorporated, and steps are taken to return to regular sleep habits.

Enzymes - Aiding Digestion &  Healthy Metabolism
Tumblr media
Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Arthur Copes practices naturopathic medicine and leads the Bio Wellness Center. With experience treating a host of chronic conditions, Dr. Arthur Copes employs all-natural substances such as minerals, vitamins, and enzymes that help to restore healthy cell function. Enzymes are complex proteins within the body that initiate chemical changes among various substances that people consume and digest and serve as energy catalysts. In total, they are involved in approximately 150,000 biochemical reactions. In addition to food digestion, they assist in ensuring the successful delivery of nutrients to various organs. The food they convert into chemical substances is accepted through the cell membrane and enables daily bodily functions to be performed. Enzymes are also tasked with breaking down toxic waste and carrying it away, delivering hormones, and ensuring proper triglycerides and cholesterol levels. Also bolstering the endocrine system, muscle, and the brain, they are considered foundational to every aspect of metabolic activity. Accessing just the right enzymes for one’s health needs is essential and can be accomplished through blood, saliva, hormonal, and genetic testing. A major goal for many is restoring the function of the digestive system through enzymes and, in the process, bolstering the endocrine system and generating vitality.

Some with HBP Take Drugs That Worsen Condition
Tumblr media
Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Arthur Copes, Ph.D. delivers patient-focused holistic care that addresses root causes instead of simply covering symptoms. As head of the Bio Wellness Center, Dr. Arthur Copes actively engages with those living with persistent issues of high blood pressure. Unfortunately, high blood pressure treatments that rely on allopathic medication and prescription drugs are not always the panacea they seem. A 2021 study led by a Harvard Medical School clinician involved the review of National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) data from 2009 to 2018. Nearly 20 percent of adults diagnosed with high blood pressure reported taking drugs known to have an effect in raising blood pressure. These medications included steroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (prescription-strength NSAIDs), decongestants, hormonal medications, and weight-loss pills. Those who didn’t take blood pressure-lowering drugs were more likely to report uncontrolled high blood pressure. The study author described a situation where people often obtain multiple prescriptions from various physicians. This cornucopia of prescriptions elevates the risk of unintended side effects and drug interactions. One solution is to bring along an updated medication list whenever you visit a physician. In addition, it may make sense to consider safe alternatives such as natural herbs, supplements, and ingredients that, in tandem with proper exercise, can positively impact the cardiovascular system.

A Review of the TW200 Yamaha Motorbike
Tumblr media
A medical practitioner who has developed successful treatments for diabetes, migraines, sinusitis, and many more, Arthur Copes is experienced in naturopathic medication. Arthur Copes has studied various naturopathy-related courses, including enzymes, cellular therapy, and spinal diseases, at several schools in several cities all over the United States. For fun, he enjoys jumping oceans waves with a jet ski and riding a TW200 Yamaha motorcycle.
The Yamaha TW200 was created more than 30 years ago, the same year as the Honda’s Fat Cat. However, the TW200 is still a good bike to buy today because of its relative inexpensiveness, versatility, and sturdiness. Many people may be dissuaded by its age, drum-rear brake, non-adjustable suspension, and weird tires. However, its simplicity can be its very strength. Yamaha has classified the TW200 as a dual-sport bike, but many argue it is a trail bike. It runs a 196cc engine and 28mm Mikuni carburetor that pumps 13 horsepower to its rear wheel through a manual five-speed transmission. In 2001, Yamaha upgraded the bike to get an electric starting system, CV carburetor, and front disk brake. This has been classified as the bike's first and only major upgrade.

A Brief History of the New Orleans French Market
Tumblr media
Arthur Copes earned both a bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. from Columbia Pacific University in Mill Valley, California. Coming from a lengthy background in medicine, Arthur Copes is now the owner of Bio Wellness Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He enjoys traveling and going on New Orleans French Market tours.
The French Market started as a Native American trade station on the Mississippi River in 1791. As French and Spanish colonists opened to sailors and merchants from across the globe, it grew into a major regional center for New Orleans. Immigrants from Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean began to set up shop in the French Quarter market in the following 300 years, selling anything and everything. Joseph Abeilard created the French Market’s contemporary, bizarre-looking structure in the late 1800s, and he was one of the first African American architects. Since then, the French Market has expanded and includes more commercial items and rarities that shoppers may not find anywhere else.

Adrenal Fatigue Can Cause Cognitive Difficulties
Tumblr media
Dr. Arthur Copes is the CEO and founder of Bio Wellness Center, a naturopathic health facility in Louisiana. Since founding the center in 2012, Dr. Arthur Copes has delivered restorative treatments to patients diagnosed with diverse disorders from ADHD to adrenal fatigue. Adrenal fatigue is a condition that impacts the adrenal glands. These glands produce several important hormones, including ones that release during the body’s stress response. If the stress response is overactive, the adrenals are not able to synthesize a sufficient amount of hormones. According to naturopathic medicine, this can lead to adrenal fatigue. People with this condition experience ongoing fatigue, cognitive difficulties, and disruptions to their sleep cycle. Adrenal fatigue is also associated with intense cravings for foods high in sugar and salt. People may become over-reliant on caffeinated beverages for energy. In severe cases, fatigue may lead to weakened muscles and weight gain. Poorly functioning adrenal glands can also inhibit the immune system. People with adrenal fatigue may be sick more often and have longer convalescent periods.

GERD's Connection to Gastrointestinal pH Balance
Tumblr media
After completing his medical degree in orthotics and prosthetics, Dr. Arthur Copes studied at the Yamuni Institute of the Healing Arts, where he earned a PhD in naturopathic medicine. Dr. Arthur Copes has practiced natural medicine at his private clinic, the Bio Wellness Center, since 2012. The center accepts patients with acute and chronic disorders, including gastrointestinal issues. Gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD) affects one out of five Americans. While any individual can develop the disorder, risks are higher for people who smoke, women who are pregnant, and people with high body-mass index scores. During a GERD attack, stomach acid and other contents reenter the esophagus. Over time, this can damage esophageal tissue or cause problems in the throat and lungs. Medical experts believe that stomach acid pH levels contribute to GERD symptoms. Normally, stomach acid is highly acidic and has a pH level of around 1 or 2. If stomach acid becomes more acidic, this wears away the digestive tract’s mucus lining and inhibits important neural signals. This causes GERD common symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux. A naturopathic treatment plan for GERD may include a combination of supplements and probiotics to increase pH to normal levels.

Tumblr media
Orthopedic and natural medicine physician Dr. Arthur Copes opened the Biowellness Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2012. When not developing treatment plans for his patients, Dr. Arthur Copes enjoys exploring the great outdoors and has visited several national parks across the United States. As of January 2021, the United States is home to 63 national parks. The most recent reserve to gain this status is the New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia. The park’s 53-mile river first gained protection status under the Carter Administration in the early 1970s. New River Gorge comprises more than 70,000 acres of land and is well-known for its whitewater rapids. Within this area, there are thousands of bird, plant, and animal species. Visitors to the New River Gorge can travel through the network of more than 1,500 hiking and cycling trails. The gorge descends more than 1,000 feet, making it an ideal location for climbing. The New River Gorge Bridge is a steel arch bridge that connects the two sides and is the longest of its kind in the United States. Visitors can choose to camp within the park’s borders or book accommodations in nearby communities.
