[Rant about Tony the Cloink cuz I dunno if I love him or hate him-]

Idk how people who draw him with the clock head or just draw him in his canon form- BUT HOW DO YOU MAKE HIM LOOK SO FINE (Platonically ofc. Totally.) AND/OR SO CUTE- It’s like how you guys manage to make the head and the eyes adjust so well, or it’s just my style isn’t really accustomed to drawing clocks- I swear to god some time in the future I’ll be drawing perfect circles because of this old bastard-

Anyway, he’s my 2nd favorite (Next to Coffin for typical teenager reasons). His song is PEAK and no one can tell me otherwise, and besides, he’s Tony. How can you hate this stickler insane timekeeper who says he’s not a time keeper but one day you followed him into the sewers and he sat down on a makeshift throne and the embodiments of time surrounded and he definitely said “I AM THE TIMEKEEPER”-

I sometimes feel self-conscious and guilty about giving my au so much weird lore and self-indulgence (especially given the media they’re from), because “they might as well just be oc’s at this point”. But eh, maybe it will go away eventually.

The name is literally “past our lessons” after all, to look past the things they teach and how they teach them and read between the lines- learning about who they are and how they think as people. And you need to have a past that makes you think the way you do.

But also it will never not feel silly giving the weird teachers backstories lol like yea the clock that says “pizzer” has depression, the cult butterfly got abandonment issues, the lamp that sings about burning your friends went to jail and a goddamn computer that goes beep was lobotomized™.
