This was based on an idea that instead of Player saving Jim it was Banished Knight.

This then sparked into a AU where Banished Knight becomes a knight for Roadtown after saving Jim.

May be tempted to do more comics based on this but no promises!

Kitchen Wizard in my Insect AU!

He is called Wizard Moth or Moth Wizard (don’t really care on which one). He may get some changes unless this grows on me. However, he got a lot of lore for this AU!

Again, terrible grammar (Sorry!)

So what is he based off of????

Wizard Moth is based off of two moths I had in mind: Black Witch Moth and (soon) a Lily Moth. For this AU, Moth Wizard resembles the Black Witch Moth and a lily moth as his past life (Referring to Ghost Chef).

Black Witch Moth

Sooo, what’s his backstory????

Moth Wizard was a lone wandering healer/cook that travelled the world and healed/cooked for people through his magical dishes. Outcasted from clans due to his species, Moth Wizard lived a life of solidarity and never formed real connections nor community. However, this changes when he saves a lone butterfly, Butterfly King (Which Btw, I think imma call him Cyrus, from danger and the two form a likely bond. Moth Wizard and Butterfly King would grow their Kaleidoscope from their friendship and form an even stronger bond between them. Moth Wizard served as the royal healer/chef for the kaleidoscope.

WITHIN THE ICE SAGA (PROLOGUE):

Moth Wizard became the first member in Butterfly King’s group, starting out as a duo. They would travel the land together before they decide to join a kaleidoscope for connection and security. After many attempts, both are able to join a kaleidoscope. However, the ruler of the kaleidoscope was unfit and so Butterfly King and Moth Wizard challenged their authority. In the end, the ruler was replaced by Butterfly King and Moth Wizard became second in command. Moth Wizard’s role became the chef and healer for the Kaleidoscope and used his magic to benefit the group. Moth Wizard was the very few moths that was part of Butterfly King’s Kaleidoscope.

Moth Wizard learned the importance of community which he at first struggled with due to his insecurities but then became an active member in the community.

One day, Hunter (Banished Knight) would be brought in by Butterfly King into his kaleidoscope and be labeled the first arachnid to joined the kaleidoscope.

At first, Moth Wizard was skeptical of Hunter as he had bad run ins with arachnid clans in the past, However, Moth Wizard would grow past his judgment and embrace Hunter presence seeing Hunter as a genuine individual with a good heart. They would become great friends and together with Butterfly King were an amazing trio. Moth Wizard would pass down his position to Hunter, giving him the Second in Command rank.

Moth Wizard alongside Hunter would be supporters of Butterfly King’s success and growth as Butterfly King grew his kaleidoscope and made permanent residence in Blackrock and be crowned king. All seemed well for Moth Wizard before Butterfly King disappeared leaving a tyrant ruler to control the Kaleidoscope and Blackrock.

WITHIN THE REFORMATION SAGA:

Chaos and violence ensued as the Kaleidoscope didn’t have their King and were being suppressed by a higher authority, Tyrant King. Hunter would step up to be there next king with Moth Wizard by his side as a supporter and second in command. Together, both Hunter and he ruled over the butterfly nation and did their best to combat the tyranny the king enforced on them. After major prepping, the Kaleidoscope and Blackrock residents decided to start a rebellion to take down the king. However, it would fall short.

During the rebellion, Moth Wizard played as the doctor for those injured before he was captured. Moth Wizard would be used as an example for the consequences of the rebellion. Similar to his death in Bloxtales, he would be blown up and stripped of his wings. His wings would be display to ward off any acts of resistance again.

Aftermath: (Parts may be STC).

Moth Wizard is dead. However, he is revived by Telemon to be given a second chance. Moth Wizard would reside in the Manor as the main cook for the ghosts. Moth Wizard would lose some of his memories, however still remember his friends faintly. Moth Wizard would be refer to as Chef Moth and take on a whole new identity from his past life. He decides to embodied the design of a Lily Moth which represents rebirth and new beginnings.

After some time, Hunter and Butterfly King would meet Chef Moth again and rekindle their friendship. Overtime, Chef Moth recalled his memories. Chef Moth chooses to stay as the chef for Telemon’s Manor but frequently visits the Azul Kaleidoscope to catch up. The trio are still holding strong in the present even after Chef Moth’s departure from the Kaleidoscope and make time to see each other.

Notes on Moth Wizard/Chef Moth:

Moth Wizard has poor eyesight and so relies on his wings as “his eyes”. That’s why in some cases where visibility is poor or when something is too poor to look at, his wings are out to observe. When he died however, he was stripped of his wings which took away that extra visibility so he had to learn to adapt to smell and hearing greatly after his death. He also relied on smell and hearing when he was alive but at a smaller scale.

His eyes are sensitive to light (since he’s mainly a nocturnal species), hence the blindfold.

Like actually moths, Wizard Moth is more active at night but has learn to regulate his sleep schedule for the Kaleidoscope.

His love language are gifts which he is seen constantly making food for his friends and vice Versa.

He hides his antenna in his hat as they are a hassle when cooking.

He can do a bit of magic, but his skills are based on cooking. Sometimes, he hosts “magic shows” where Insects or Robloxians can watch him cook for compensation.

Chef Moth becomes “grounded” but takes on a new identity as a lily moth

When aggravated, his eyes become visible, being these enlarged orange eyes.

Like said above, Chef Moth heavily relies on sound and touch.

Chef Moths keeps two pins on his apron of his friends: one for Butterfly King and one for Hunter.

Notes on Moths in the is AU:

Clans regard Black Witch Moths as bad omens to their negative connotations of death. It is often common for this kind of separation/behavior among different moth clans.

Like any insects, Moths only get one set of wings in their life. If they are damage or taken away, they cannot grow a new pair. They become known as “grounded”.

Moths are often referred to as “Butterflies of the Night” due to being nocturnal.

Majority of moths are sensitive to light to some degree. However, moths can adapt to adjust to the sun if they appear more out in the daytime. Moths in this AU that have eyespots have the ability to use them has secondary eyes.

Moths tend to live more solitary lives, however, they can form their own clans if they wish to.

Though moths and butterflies live exclusively among each other, some butterflies arnt as accepting to the moths species (and vice versa for moths).

Some moths have tension against arachnids due to their past history of violence and poaching of one another.

Extra Notes:

This info dump has taken me two months- mostly because of struggling to find a design that fit Kitchen Wizard in this AU and coming up with his lore. The official design for Kitchen Wizard/ Wizard Moth is few months old so changes are def gonna be made.

I have finished the writing on the other characters I have left! They should be up within the next week or so (depending what I feel like).

The last bit is Accountant Jim, Mayor Monty, Kyoko, Noobador, and Red and Blue! Player I’m planning to wait until Demo 4 comes out (where I can play the pre-prologue). That also includes the embodiments (haven’t started on them but they will go along with Player’s lore in this AU).

NPC Collection! New + Old drawings

Also, my fav NPC (other than the major ones like Kyoko, Mayor Thaniyel, Griefer, Kitchen Wizard, etc) is Autumnside! They’re so silly, look at them!

Kinda extra notes on Autumnside, I find it interesting that his eyes are red. I like to think maybe it represents Hatred.

Soo what if something happen in their past life and he left with so much hatred??? When we try to wave at them, they start to shake (out of fear imo). Soo, I believe it eludes to something like Red & Blue’s situation… or smt else idk
