Realm Guardian Jess (2025)

A giant dragon who resides within dreams and guards them from nightmares. Due to being such a large dragon, this form of Jess is not seen outside of the dream realm but occasionally is referred to in special stories where Lightning Cat Scapolite often is seen by her side. She is referred to as the Dream Beast. Her domain is a vast ocean with a landscape that is always changing.

You want some art tips and ideas? Here’s some from me!

Look towards nature for art inspiration. That doesn’t mean relying on internet pictures. Take a glance outside your window or even go outside and examine the plants and trees you can see.

Study the local wildlife you might see outside or watch your dog/cat/horse/whatever. Watch them move, how their body position affects the patterns of their fur, or even take a better look at their feet to figure out what goes where.

Watch the sunset and figure out how the colors blend well even if your eyesight isn’t the best. How does the light reflect off the clouds and when do the stars start to become visible? Are the clouds numerous or is there very little? Try to replicate it and see if you can imagine it from a different perspective,

Pay attention to every small detail even in the most boring things you’ll see.

Sketch out a simple figure and then imagine it in movement by deciding the positioning of where it would be if it moved forward or jumped up. A head tilt, a tail swishing to the side, or even a footstep forward. Even the smallest movement can go a long way.

Reposts allowed only if given credit. If it’s a tumblr post just REBLOG it unless it’s a commission.

Free art has no monetary value when applied to characters.

Designs that are given free can not be resold. Only gifted or traded unless they come with extra art that adds value.

Designs that are commissioned can be resold for the same price unless extra art has been added only then can extra costs be included.

Payments are only taken through kofi.

I will never DM you regarding commissions unless you are interested in them and came to me first. I will not DM you if your comment asks me to due to commission scams.
