   The small girl clung to him with a tight hand, doing everything in her power to stay calm, and keep her body from trembling too hard. This slow walk felt surreal, blue eyes darting around the immediate rooftops, just waiting- anticipating the sight of MP appearing, their numbers so massive as to blot out of the sun. The feeling of a strong arm wrapping around her waist and his voice soft in her ear pulled the girl back to reality as small arms wrapped around his neck, holding on for dear life.

   What felt like years passed by in minutes, mind still blown at the fact no one had caught them yet, and quickly her thoughts spun as she tried to formulate a plan and think ahead, figuring out their next moves. The world around her returned at the sight of approaching ground before darkness as her face was shoved into his chest, her body tensing as she held onto him, the wind knocked out of her as the intertwined bodies tumbled across unforgiving earth.

Bertholdt grabbed her hand and pulled her with him as he walked down the alley so he could get a clear shot on getting out of here without any immediate issues. He was hoping the gear would at least carry the two of them out of the walls then they could make a break for it on foot. 

"I hope you’re ready." He grabbed onto her tightly and activated the gear, swinging between tall buildings. Nearly missing a extended balcony. A few moments passed and he swung out through a gate that was hardly opened before he tumbled onto the ground. Pushing her face into his chest so she didn’t get hurt.

   Her body was tense as Artus stood there by the wall, mind racing as she understood completely what she had just done, what she was doing now, and what she would be doing from now on. Running. Crimson droplets dropped from her hand as she nails dug deep into soft palms, her fists curled tight as she listened to the thunder, utterly confused by the lack of MP's heading this direction, but she was grateful for it nonetheless.

   Turning over her left shoulder, she stared at the now strapped in traitor, his single question felt like lead weights on her shoulders. Taking a moment to breathe, gaze unwavering as she pondered. If she just let him go, let him escape, she herself would be caught and surely hanged for treason. "Yes." She simply spoke, closing the distance between them, heart racing.
