Next up in the Summer Garden Mini Collection is View of the Pool. It’s a gorgeous mix of fresh greens with floral purples and occasional splashes of blue. Every yarn in this series combines a pink or purple with a green and a blue as I wanted to se what I could create with a variations on a single idea. Together, they’d make amazing combinations and fades as I did not use the same hue twice but made sure each was at least subtly different as part of the artistic challenge. I hope you enjoy the results!

New project grewing on the needles. Giftknitting for an upcoming birthday. I'm glad the SO likes the blue colors, I love knitting with them, but not really wearing them. And this petrol blue heathered yarn is gorgeous. Broken rib is such a restful structure to knit too.

putting some old tapestries up on here :^) tragically these are the only photos I have of this piece, as it sold several years ago. looking back it's one of my most ambitious and complex tapestries, and I wish I had spent some more time with it before selling it, and taken the time to photograph it more properly.
